No, no, no. I didn't just want to stretch the matter too long. Don't read any meaning into it.....as you do into scriptures. . I only quoted and responded to that your post not because we had disagreement in the past and we will always have but because you used "saved" as "eternal salvation" either you're helping frosbel understand the question better or not. It is the fact you placed "eternal salvation" into the amplification of what you meant by "save" that I responded to. I always read well and not dumb. I'm just saying, not everywhere the word "save" appears does it mean what you termed it to mean - eternal salvation. That's all brother.

When you see a word that is used in many ways in scriptures, look for the meaning that applies in context. That's one of the reasons we argue so much with ending.....smh......

Don't let fame and influence of a church guide your interpretation but the Spirit and also, use bible concordance to understand words as used in context. Perhaps, you will thank God I said this to you at the beginning of the year. Specifically, I suggest book of romans & hebrews. Those two will at least make you question some things that RCCG preach and teaches. Good luck sister!!!

I once said the same like you just said but alas, I was shocked to realise RCCG is worst than I thought when I started studying the word by myself and flushed out all religious, man-made and traditional interpretation out of my system. You can accept whatever when you're and infant but when you become a son\daughter, you're to dig things out by yourself by the Spirit. Give yourself time in the word and give yourself to studying of the word and prayer this year and see how much the Spirit will show you about RCCG and their doctrines of men. Be like the Bereans and you will be glad you did. If not for anything, let this be your goal\project this year especially book of romans and hebrews. You're blessed!!!

Many Churches around the world deceive themselves thinking they are preaching the "Gospel of God and of Christ". The truth is, a Christian is deliverer and need no deliverance after salvation but alas, there's so many "babalawo-preachers" in the pulpit. Go to the Greek and look up the meaning of the word "salvation" and set yourself free from these lies of the devil. Preaching and\or conducting deliverance for those who have received the finished works of Christ by faith is an eternal insult to the blood of Christ.

When you see a word or phrase in scripture. It doesn't automatically mean a "one-size-fits-all" meaning. Allow the context and investigate the meaning when you study. A Christian can judge!!!

I truly understand your point and I can explain it deeper. The point here is, there're "some" professions e.g, hired assassin, prostitu.tes etc falls in the categories of these 'some' professions that are against one's faith. A Christian cannot remain a Christian and also be a practicing prostitu.te at the same time or be a hired assassin. I don't see both of them mixing together. Btw, I don't see "religion" & "faith" same way as people does. Religion can be a "follow-follow" thing but faith is a way of life\relationship unto\with God.

ure right. the Lord in ezekiel 18 says when a righteous man turns away from right living and commits sin (idol worship as in the case of solomon) he shall die and those right things he did wont be mention to him but he shall die in his sin. That is the case of solomon.

Why do you keep looking at righteousness as works and not as gift. Don't you know the difference in righteousness by works and righteousness by faith which is a gift of God?

I used to like this site but when i came across their teachings on eternal security that a believer can never lose his salvation no matter their sin. I just had to maintain the view that it is one of those satanic websites hiding under a christian facade

First, I don't do sites but the plain truth of God's word. I don't also hold the teaching of OSAS with the one exception of apostasy. Anything else, sin cannot unborn-again a Christian. You need to understand the finished works of the Master to understand that your own sin cannot undo what Christ did for you.
