willian10: Pls, which one is better, Redmi 3s pro 32gb version VS Redmi Note 3 Pro 16gb version, any xiaomi device within that price is also a welcome idea. I'd like to get the latter cos of better camera, but 13mp of 3s might be better, cos it's 2016 device...but the turnoff of note 3 pro is because it's 16gb version, I can't afford now & I want to get it quickly before d middle of December. Help a fellow Nairalander Then only thing the redmi 3s has over the note 3 is the bigger ram and expansion, aside that they are not mates in anyway, the note 3 is miles ahead despite the 2 gig of ram. Infact, if I were in your shoes, I would sacrifice one sim slot and get the note 3. |

GrandMufti: The only cost they needed to cut was from the hardware department which they got spot on. Miui 5,6,7 were really good. In fact after playing with a friend's rn3 pro with miui 7.5.3.0, I quickly rushed to buy mine. After using the phone for two weeks, I sold my Samsung j7, because the rn3 was smaller and compact. But since I migrated to miui 8, my phone has never been the same. Bad experience for you, for me the reverse has been the case with miui 8, that's why they need expert developers. |

heroshark: Pls somebody help ..... My network keep reverting back to 2g even after setting 3g as my preferred network type .... And it's annoying .. Any idea how to stop this pls? Redmi 3s Go to settings - > About phone - > Internal Memory - > tap the 'internal memory like 7 times, then - > phone information 1. From there you can select WCDMA only. That way you have selected 3g only. Note, you will have to repeat this step each time you reboot or switch off phone, so master it. |

Youngpo413: Seems this xiaomi is not a good phone, so many complaints on Chinese rom, stable rom, international rom, developer rom, bla bla bla, it has no stock rom on its own which someone can use in peace? We go for developer rom because we want to get more than 100% flexibility from our phones! Doesn't mean we have problems with our phones, the stable rom is there if you can't keep with the trend in developer roms. Even the so called bugs people complain of are minor and are mostly taken care of in a very few weeks. If you ever use miui for 2 days, am 80% sure you will never look back! You would rather push and push and push until people in your shoes right now will begin to see it as complaints Again the stable rom is there if you can't keep up with the updates and bugs we actually enjoy, that is if you want peace of mind as you called it. |

40manlappy: Any problem with "International" developer ROMs (if there is anything like that)? If you mean 'global developer rom', no. The only issue is developer roms are like experimental roms. It means they come with more features and also may contain bugs. But since the updates come weekly, the bugs may be of no problem to you. |

Baroba: Its early day if you as me, what stage is your goods at, processing?.. I ordered a Redmi 4a from geek buying because it was cheap and on promo, and mynorder is still been processed according to there website..
This is my first time of using them, but i have used other Chinese sites in the past..From my experience with them, you just have to be patient, it might take up to a whole month to get your goods; unless you paid for expedited shipping.. Yeah, patience is the game for free shipping. Your money nor fit lost sha, no need for panic. Time might be the only thing to lose in worse case scenarios. |

40manlappy: Is that not how all versions of the phone are supposed to be? Even the low-end versions of Samsung have this feature.
I am also not enjoying Microsoft Outlook on it. Configured my office mail on it but the best I can get is receive mails on it.
Mails sent from the phone doesn't get delivered
Looping: Gptech I think it was so with miui 7,don't know if they did some experiments with miui 8. That your mail issue nawa sha. Are you on global rom? |

Benstino: Bros mi, how much did the lg g2 screen cost you? And did the problem later resurface after changing the screen?
Mine( D802) is plagued with dead zones, here and there About $48 around February this year, should be cheaper now but dollar is not your friend. And yes, the screen is dead again, just after about 2 months of use, I tell people to run away from g2 now, even g3 and g4. Lg must be stupid not to fix this issue. I can assure you, you will need to replace your screen again if you change yours. |
Phones › Re: I Need A Powerful Smartphone Not More Than N75,000 by Gptech(m): 7:06am On Nov 21, 2016 |
RIVEX: Thanks brother... But what if the screen gets broken, can I fix it here in naija. That's the second question dt always gets on my mind Yes, plenty yes! Don't be deceived. You order the screen on aliexpress and have it fixed by phone repairers. Have done the same for lg g2 D 800. All these unnecessary fears are uncalled for, i wonder how many times you have changed your phone screen though. For me I can never get a broken screen for such high end device, when you have tampered screen protection and phone casing. The case of the lg g2 was a factory problem. |
