grin it's called flash sale. They sell it once a week online. The fastest finger to click the 'order' button gets to add it to his / her cart.
I remember the sleepless nights we had due to flash sales from Jumia and Konga last year, can you imagine what people will go through when trying to get the xiaomi devices, considering only the population of China. grin

Now about the phones been so cheap, I think its not so expensive to make mobile phones, if u check how much it cost to make an iphone against how much it is been sold you'd know that all those expensive phones are over priced
Though those big oems overprice their phones, note they also have huge physical presence thus the higher price. If they sell same price as xiaomi the losses they will encounter will be huge! Xiaomi knows well about these hence they sell majorly online to cut costs incurred by third parties.

"Probably": almost certainly; as far as one knows or can tell.

This however I vouch on with full certainty. Time and time again Chinese companies have caught media attention for unethical practices.
My closing remark is, if truly they sell consumer information, would they make it public? It took a very long time for facebook to finally admit they indulged in it.
But you are still assuming, and generalization is a wrong way of arguing. Xiaomi has arguably one of the best security in Android world, you can check to confirm. About selling of data, you even mentioned Facebook, I can even add Yahoo to the list, but funny thing is they are American companies. If you want to go into conspiracy theories then its better to trust the Chinese more than the Americans grin

Data to be specific.
Ok, with time it won't be an issue with many people, like 90mb ×4=360mb per month.

Do you mean the note 2 prime? But I saw on GSM arena that both the note 2 and note 2 prime were announced on August 2015.
There is xiaomi redmi note 2 and xiaomi note 2. Both are different devices. The redmi series are the midrange series of xiaomi and are thus cheaper. The mi series are the flagship and are expensive. The one you are referring to is redmi note 2 and was released last year. The mi note was released just some days ago and costs more than 160k.
Concerning redmi note 2, yes it heats up and that has been blamed majorly on the octacore Helio x10 chipset it uses.

Great phone though have not handled it, reviews are great. I have handled redmi 3 pro which is very similar. Device is great and compact with very very good battery life.

This is exactly what i had in mind, but someone here told me its 85k.
Screen size is not actually a problem, the use will appreciate a beautifully crafted device.
Redmi note 3 pro is expensive sha, unless you need the 2 gig ram, 16gig version then you might spend less than 70k.

Battery - without data on, no drop at all over 14 hours but data on, the drain continues embarassed
Hehehehe, funny man, u don rush go root sef. You better find out user experience of those using phones running the Helio x10. If my data is off from dusk to dawn and I listen to music through earphones, I sometimes get at most 6% battery drop! But the moment you wake up the phone, even without switching data on, you go fear how battery dey run like Hussain Bolt shocked

Lesson for those who plan on getting a new phone. Don't be deceived by ram size, or even price tag or brand name. If you want a fast phone then look at the specs and do a little research on the processor efficiency. Big ram size has little or nothing to do with making a phone run fast, its main job is for multitasking. So for all of you thinking a device is superb because it has large ram, think again. If you like put 6 gig of ram on a weak 1.3gighz processor, your phone will definitely lag when handling simple games like Alsphalt 8. grin

Its obvious your issue has to do with the bugs, in terms of battery performance for my device it's dsame with miui 8 as it was with miui 7.

I actually use a 32gig version of the note 3. Do you clear cache after updating? I just realised that helps the phone in maintaining its stability.
No, I don't, might try that out though I don't think its necessary for weekly updates via OTA

The camera is very good especially d front camera.
The phone fully charges from 0- 100 % in almost 2hrs.
The phone feels solid.
I don't have d RN3 so i can't compare dem.
The fone heats a little up to 42 C while browsing or charging.
I have played MC5 nd WWE immortals and d games where super fast. I have experienced no lagging at all.
The only problem is the lack of official global rom
The battery is very gud. i used it for up to 18hrs b4 it went off.

Overall d fone is very fast. And @ the price its a very gud
will send pics later
Nice, and thanks for the review, the heating part just confirmed my fears with the mtk x20 socs, not surprised.
