NgcoboP: hope u kno the ba3 drain issue has been tackled comprehensively Nope! When I bought mine it came with miui 6 out of the box, updated to the different versions of miui 7 and currently on miui 8. The battery issue is still there! The few times there were any improvement, the difference was not much. For sure the issue is not with Xiaomi but with the Helio x10 chip. You can also compare the battery backup for redmi note 3 mtk and snapdragon versions, the difference is clear, very clear. |

greenhulk: Of course yes it can. It is a full windows 10pc so x86 programs can easily be installed and perforce is OK for light use. Don't expect to play hard core pc games on this or use it for video editing.
I've since sold this tablet and got myself a more powerful dual os tablet. Is it the Teclast u got as replacement or? |

toluwanimi07: Bro u dnt like mtk ni Currently on Xiaomi redmi note 2, performance is not bad at all, but battery drain is the issue. Mtks have not been good with battery management, plus the performance of the snapdragon 650 and 652 is already on par with mtk flagship. Then updates and support, the snapdragons have better support and at least redmi note 3 pro is getting an upgrade in Android version. |

Or simply redmi note 3 pro Aunty no need to stress yourself, no matter the name people call it locally or internationally, what you have is the xiaomi redmi note 3 pro, 32gig version. Bookiemart01: Hello all, I'm glad I found this thread. I am expecting my redmi note 3 pro (3gb 32gb) tomorrow and its the official international version.
My question is I see lots of grammar like rooting, OTA....and likes, will I need any of these don on my phone?
Pardon my my ignorance You most likely won't need root but OTA you surely need. OTA means Over The Air. Its the way you will likely update your phone. You update your phone to get better performance and newer features. It makes your phone better and relevant even after using it for a long time, I mean years. |

rubie: Please I want to know if you offer services to those who already have the Xiaomi phones. I use an MI 5.0 Android version 4.4.2. it has never been able to connect to 4G, its always on Edge, so browsing is super frustrating. Please can you advice me on what to do?. Thank you. Sis please explain, are you using xiaomi mi5 or the android version you are using is on 4.4.2? Anyway, to change to 3g or 4g only, go to settings-About phone - internal memory. Tap on internal memory like 5 tines repeatedly until you see 'phone information 1'. Tap on it and scroll down abit, you will see the option to change your network mode.

toluwanimi07: Bro which 1 is redmi max and bro the redmi pro is a beast oh ... Infact lets say i have moni i ll have bought mi 5s Redmi max is like a bigger redmi note 3 pro, it has 6.44 inch screen plus an outstanding 4850mah battery with about 108h endurance rating. toluwanimi07: Bro i swear no mind me jare xiaomi train noe no looking back .... But do u plan to change ur Rn2 soon? Not sure, the only thing I have against it is the battery backup, but powerbank will do. I actually felt the need for a change from the day I spent over 24 hours with the xiaomi redmi 3 pro, men d battery na rock, it just refused to die, plus the camera is better, though am not a camera person for phones. I might get the redmi max or redmi pro if I have to change though. |

toluwanimi07: Bro na ojukokoro do me jare i rush go buy Boom j8 cos of music ... Honestly i dont know if kelvintech has new phones but i ll try to ask Music? Smh, honestly the music output from my xiaomi redmi note 2 is really impressive. The player is good but poweramp makes music even greater. Bro u nr dey look specs before u buy phone? Xiaomi redmi note 2 has better chipset than the best tecno phone currently. Helio x10 was last year's flagship from Mediatek, yet tecno used an inferior chip for phantom 5. Don't be fooled by ram, na good processor first before ram, just like good sensors before megapixels in cameras. |

aristogabby: Bro have u successfully rooted your phone. Please I need help on how to root. Using Redmi note 2 prime running on miui 8 global stable. Not yet rooted cause have not seen the need for now. All my apps purchased with lucky patcher still work, and am currently on developer rom, it means am expecting updates every twilight. Men miui 8 is really smooth and very stable. The ability to use quick ball and also hide it is awesome, now I hardly even touch my power button |

Phones › Re: Tecno Phantom 6 Official Thread by Gptech(m): 12:44am On Sep 08, 2016 |
investigator007: You sure about that? We even get 6 gig ram sef in phones like One Plus 3, LEeco and others. But we should not be deceived by just ram size. Big ram plus weak processors equals nonsense. 2 gig ram with very good processors is far better! |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 10:47pm On Aug 28, 2016 |
2kurupt: If you've official rom installed on your device you'll still get OTA software updates despite root but you'll lose root whenever you update. Thanks bro, finally running miui 8,though have lost root access. Everything so far is good, no bug detected for now. Let me observe how long the battery life can endure because so far I have noticed considerable improvement.
