graceodini: Good morning house. Please I need your advice. I got my 6months visit visa last year and went to UK to spend 7days instead of 10days stated in my application form. If I want to reapply can I apply for 2years or 5years. Thanks. @giselle237 any advice on this please? |

Like what can one say in order to get 2 or 5years visa. Though in my previous visit I had to spend my 7days in self isolation. |

Angelswt: From what I have gathered here, since Covid19/lockdown, no interview for Tier 4 visa applicants.
However interviews are now randomly conducted, if clarification is needed.
It is advisable to prepare ahead, so as not to be caught unaware.
PS. You will however be notified of when you will be having the interview if required. This interview is usually conducted via telephone calls as well (you and your phone, should be prepared).
Cheers. Thanks for responding. |

Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by graceodini: 7:26am On Feb 10, 2021 |
STENON: I disagree with number 2.
I used my student's copy and WAEC as proof of English We learn everyday. I didn't know WAEC can be used alongside University proficiency letter. When my brother did his own he only sent transcript, certificate and English language proficiency letter from the university he graduated from. |

Walle01: Please could you help me with this seeing that you have recently processed ur naric comparability assessment. i want to ask 1. can someone use a student copy for naric? 2. Will I have to still get in touch with my school for verification from naric...as in; will NARIC demand a transcript directly from school following my application?
Thank you. 1) Yes. 2) You will have to get both certificate and transcript from the school and scan them to NARIC by yourself including a letter of English language proficiency from the school as well. |

I got to UK this morning and wasn't asked any question at POE. When we got to Ethiopia yester day and about boarding a plane to Manchester the Ethiopian immigration authorities said everybody with Nigeria passport should move to one side and sit somewhere. They said that there is a new rule for visitors going to UK and TGAT they want to confirm and get back to us. After a while they came back to us and returned our passports. But they searched our hand luggage thoroughly. Am with my host now. Thank you all. I used 54gene. Thank you. |

giselle237: Check wakanow website but you are uncertain about your travel... (noticed from ur posts) pls so be sure before u purchase with them as change to tickets is not free after purchase.. Once u get a ticket from wakanow or agency and then change your mind about an existing ticket, u will have to pay change fees.
... otherwise u can get a dorm card and buy directly from Turkish airlines or british airways and the likes The airlines offer free change or so.. anyway everything is spelt out to u in the fare rules and conditions Thanks for your response. Am now sure of my departure and arrival dates. The reason am asking is because tickets are cheaper on skyscanner.net than wakanow or any other agents I have seen. I won't change any date. Opodo and lastminute.com are under skyscanner.net |

chrisj2: I think the Oyo State government approved test centres should be fine - why not? It id probably in Ibadan anyways - fine chance it might be the same ones as those recommended by the federal government. How many good labs are there
As long as UK does not recommend specifics - not that I know of, as of yet! Ok. They do it at the government secretariat and the result will be sent on applicant phone. Can I shoe the immigration officer on my phone or it must be printed. Thanks. |

Doskimama: Goodevening, I have been a silent reader.
I went to the bank to request for my bank statement and I was told the bank will upload it on the UK visa platform and I will be given a slip to upload on TLS site.
I just want to confirm this position or should I collect the hard copy statement? Which bank is that? Please don't accept it oo. It happened to someone I know very well and they claimed they didn't see his financial evidence in all the submitted document . Thanks. |
