As for those asking why all the buildings on same colour of paints, that is the standard colour for all the buildings located within the school. Every building within the school land must carry green roof, yellow body mixed with red. That's the school standard.

This latest trend on NL is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Maybe the next one should involve the interiors of these buildings; studios, labs, research centers, features that are unique to one's university. It would be nice to see these schools go toe to toe on that.

Hello guys, so I'm skeptical about this decision I'm about to take, my girlfriend will be joining the next batch of NYSC and I have been thinking of telling her to work it to Lagos.

Truth is, she learned fashion design sometime and she likes modelling for clothing brands and she teaches too, I believe with all of this she stands a chance of getting something tangible in Lagos than going to serve in one village.

My fear is this, (I recently got an accommodation, a single room self contain on the island, haven't even told her yet)
So I need time to plan my future, I'm not fit financially to start fending for someone, if I am then my younger sister should be the one to come over ( though her service year is next year)

But if my gf is to come here, the agreement will be clear and concise, you fend for yourself while I fend for myself, don't worry, the relationship is that defined and she understands.

My reason of wanting to do this for her is cause she has been very nice to me and she has helped me out financially and otherwise in the past though I repaid her.

But guys, my major fear is living with a girl in the same house, won't attachment get serious, what if she gets pregnant? I don't want anything to hinder my plans, I'm 29 actually and I'm not planning to settle down anytime soon.

Please I need advice and contributions.

Yes. Too much money in the hands of consumers chasing too few goods leads to inflation. The US can do it because they have data and have the money while Canada has data, money and a low population. China wouldn't dare such, nor Germany, Russia, France or Japan. It would wreck their economies.

Since we have a traditional problem of data capturing, it would have worked better to subsidize food items, essentials and other consumables (minus beer please). A workable solution is to liaise with the market leaders by providing the money to them (and asking them to give account daily). This money is to offset the differential for goods purchased by the consumers. There might be problems arising from it, but it is better than giving money directly to the consumers; for example, I can go with my wife and say I am the head of the family while she can claim she is a widow. Who can verify these claims without data?

If I were to advise government, I'd have suggested government focuses palliatives on these two states. It is easier to manage 25 million persons than managing 200 million: that money won't go round. Also Dangote, Lake Rice, and other big northern farmers need to be engaged to flood Lagos and Abuja with food. That the government can afford for 1-2 months...since they have been paying fuel subsidy since I was born.

I won't also call it a book theory. Anyways you neglected the fact that "tax" contribute less than 10% of govt revenue here in Nigeria. On the other hand you ignored "tax incidence" of which we both know given the current situation, consumers won't be able to bear it since the producers will hike price as a result of tax placed
