This was the topic of discussion in my office today, all men were like waoh! Kind of funny it's not yet on front page. |
I rate him 8, really impressed with Akpabio's achievements in Akwa Ibom. He is topping the governors chat on performance right now. |
omenka:that's why the FOI bill was signed into law, if you want that information all you need to do is go up to the relevant agency or agencies and make your request. |
See me see Oyibo dey groove Limpopo. |
CFCfan:I pray Marvins performance is better than this, had to lower my tv volume. |
Really Akwa Ibom is flying like a bird, soaring high like the eagle. Thumbs up Akpabio. |
OLADD:That is also my fear. |
I just feel like saying Nigeria should host the nations cup if morocco throws in the towel. |
Eyaaaah! My shy President. Fine boy no pimples. |
So so happy for the people of Akwa Ibom. Good thinking good product. I have to start looking for my Serena in Akwa Ibom. |
Goddex:I tire o for my fellow countrymen o! AMCON don collect their money back, it's now time to hand over the company back to Ubah. |
When it comes to power most of us don't really understand the level of decay in our power sector due to the years of neglect. When you ask people how much and how long do you think we need to ensure our major cities get 24hrs electricity? They always scream " the money is there, this country has money", the same money we had that after $16b we are still were we are. Even if we start generating 20,000 megawatts of electricity today our transmission lines can not even carry half of that, what that means is that we will still be in darkness, so how long will it take us to upgrade our transmission lines and how much will it cost us? The present government is on the right track, but they have failed to tell the citizens the truth, it will still take time for Nigeria to enjoy 24hrs light. The good news is that whatever is invested into power now will be felt immediately by the people and that is progress. |
lets all watch as PDP teaches APC the game of politics. Next week will be really interesting. * orders for popcorn, puts on his 3d glass, let the show begin* |
donphilopus:I guess you stylishly left out Enugu and Akwa Ibom. The projects in Akwa Ibom alone eclipse all of the APC states you mentioned combined. |
MissTeaseMe:So you still believe that $20B is missing or you are just trying to be mischievous? |
PassingShot:Guy chill, why are you making so much noise? Your country that you claim to love so much use to occupy second position now it has moved to 31st in less than 8yrs and you are not happy. I am happy because we are making progress and we will continue to make progress, with the reforms taking place all around us we are making progress. Instead of lamenting we should be having discussions on how to accelerate the progress we are making. |
MsJackson:Madam please try everything possible to keep this trend going, do not complain because if he stops you will look back and wish for those days to come back. He loves you and he is sexually attracted to you, that my dear is very normal. |
nationwide1:He is their son, what do you expect? |
anonimi:You know this people can be impossible, they will resist anything just for resisting sake. If tomorrow the bill being discussed is to make nigeria a true federation they will still be the group kicking against it. |
I have always supported local government autonomy and I will continue to support it 100%. We want local government autonomy it will bring government closer to the people. Mods please front page. |
Dis 1 no b news,we want headlines like Federal government is calling on graduates with so so so qualifications to fill the newly created 3.5 million vacant sits and the person should not be more than 45 years old or cnn reports that "Nigeria's domestic food production rises by 20 million metric tonnes"
Oh! Is that how you think the jobs will be made available? Guy you better wake up and grab the opportunities in the agric sector and also create jobs for others. |
Sometimes I wonder if we Nigerians really want change, I can't believe a man who has held such a seat can be saying so. Why will we want to sacrifice this because some governors want to keep the money allocated to local governments to themselves? |
Caseless:Make us understand. |
Caseless:So what did you manage to build over time and how was it destroyed? |
tonte:Thumbs up, you are very right. |
Op what point are you really trying to make? |
Dear OP, I have always asked this questions to those who are trying to sell Buhari and somehow they avoid answering them. None of them can really tell you Buhari's stand on some of the serious national issues you mentioned. All we hear is how Buhari is anti corruption but what corruption is greater than the disdain for rule of law? What corruption is greater than the deliberate weakening of our institutions? What corruption is greater than selective justice? What corruption is greater than the imbalance in siting projects? What corruption is greater than denying the people freedoom of speech and expression? Hatred for GEJ is what is really the driving force of those supporting Buhari, it's not really the love for Nigeria or the man Buhari, they know the man Buhari can only move this country backwards but they are ready to support him just to see GEJ leave in 2015. |
GEJ did not block Buhari, he did not block Atiku, it is now kwankwaso he is trying to stop. Very soon a local government chairman will also claim GEJ is blocking him. My advice to APC supporters is that you can't win an election when all you do is spew hatred and spin lies against GEJ, the more you guys do, the more GEJ is loved. |
We are already the 26th largest economy and still growing, we will get there soon. |
Why are you guys making so much fuss about all this? Are this the evidence you guys will produce when the election does not go in your favor? Is this what you guys will use to justify the actions of buhari's supporters when they go to the streets and start killing innocent corpers? You APC supporters just seat at home on your keyboards trying to convince us that Buhari will win next year election, elections are not won by manipulated online polls. |
Maybe nigeria not qualifying is a blessing in disguise, maybe. |
horpe132:When you ask an American if he is happy with the American system, he will say no, that the cost of healthcare is too high, that tax needs to be reduced and the rich taxed more, that un employment rate is too high, that Wall Street and major corporations are controlling their government, that there is high decay in infrastructure etc etc... There is something every citizen somewhere is complaining about, in Hong Kong, china, USA, Japan citizens are complaining. Experience has taught me that people who are always complaining about their country and environment make the worst set of leaders when given the opportunity to lead, I avoid them like a plaque. |
