Its not that pple dont really know that its not ideal, but some pple just believe its part of "igbadun" (enjoyment)and some find it difficult to swallow with ordinary water, hence, using soft drinks.
However, we need to stop deceiving ourselves, water is d best liquid to use with drugs, and i even prefer warm water, which helps d drug to absorb quickly.

Chai! I love gums die, Lord, pls, help me, when im chewing, mehn, i concentrate seriously, all my loved ones know me, no one dare visit me without packing gums along, especially my hubby and my mum, can i stop chewing gum? I dont know, but i will give it a try, to start with, i have to call my mum, not to send that gum again, may be when its not with me, i might stop chewing it, but...mehn, i use it as a concentratin pill.........lol

3. Since you complain about your eyes, go see an eye doctor (an optician), he will examine you and tell you the necessary things to do.
@all, Lets stop gambling with our health, if we notice anything that we dont understand with us, lets cultivate habits of consulting our doctors, its not an act of unbelief, its God that give these doctors d knowledge which they use to help us, so, its an act of faith. Also, periodical medical check up is not a bad idea when it comes to our health.

Yes, shea butter is very good, that is what i use for my kids and its very good on their skin, i mix it with glycerin for them, and pple always embarrass me with question of "madam, pls, what cream do you use for your kids?", i gladly tell them "its shea butter, if you like, use it alone, or mix it with glycerin, it works wonders". One of my kids usually have boils each time she want to have a certain growth, i use ordinary shea butter to treat it, and its wonderful, sometimes, d boil will disappear, sometimes, it makes d boil to heal-up quickly, but i, personally have problem with its odour, thus not making me use it in d morning while going to my place of work, so, op, what can i do as regards its odour. Thanks.

@op, this is very insightful, i will also add that all these fast food joints meals have nothing or very little benefits to offer to our body, its encouraged to always go for naturally prepared foods, where we can reducesome ofl d ingredients that are somehow not too good to our health, for instance, those seasonings we use in our foods are not all that good for our health, but in those joints, they adds a lot to make d meal more tasty, whereas, when we prepare our meals by ourselves, we can use healthier ingredients and reduce d non-healthy ingredients to its bearest minimum, all these may sound not necessary, but they go a long way in our being in good health. Also, as d op suggested, we need lots of fruits and vegetables, these are what our body needs, an orange is better than a fried meat/fishpie, an avocado pear is better than butter,etc., and then, we need a lot of water, im involved in what is knwn in "water therapy" and im a living testimony of hw it helped me to loose weight, for those who like taking those sugary drinks like coke, pepsi,fanta,etc, just try and replace d drinks with water for a week and see how better you are going to be, not to talk of hw healthy you will always be if you cut those drink away from your diets.
Also, stretching and exercise is also good for our body, it doesnt have to be strenuos ones, if its just stretching and walking, it goes a long way to ensure that our hearts are functioning properly and also helps to burn fats that have accumulated in our bodies.

I just believe that, one day, a cure will be found for thjs dreadful disease and therefre d carriers shouldnt lose hope, there is no need for despair, even, keeping healthy living is one of d ways they can help themselves and we not stigmatising against them is one of d way we can help d carriers t not despair, i believe that, there is no one that cant fall victim for this disease, therefore, we shouldnt see ourselves as being better than them.
Meanwhile, as we hopefully await d cure for this disease, i want to encourage d carriers of this disease to keep their hope alive, take their drugs at d right time, take healthy foods regularly with fruits and vegetables, drink lots of water regularly, do things that makes you happy, never involve in self pity or self condemnation and be hopeful that being HIV+ is no longer death warant and that one can still live longer than one even expected to live , and for d non-carriers, lets stop stigmatising, we can help save lives if we truly show love to them.

Hhhhhmmmmm.....your sister has just one problem and d problem is herself, .....she doesnt know her worth, if not so, she wouldnt have decided to remain a punching bag of a man because she want to remain a "mrs". my brother, no argument here, women talk more than men, but not applicable to everyone, some men are talkatives, they talk far more than men, and in my first post in this thread, i said it depends on some factors like personality, temprament, heredity and enviroment. For example, i have some pple around me that i can cite as examples of those who talks far more than their females counterparts.........first of all, i have only a girl, and she seems to be d most quiet among others, while d boys can almost kill me with different types of discussion, she always look at them and sometimes call them talkatives, shes very quite and wise, someone told me that her being wise is as a result of her quiteness.
Secondly, my elder brother, our firstborn.....chai, if that one go for competition of talkatives comprising only women, i bet it, no woman can get that prize, he fit talk, ehn, sometimes, we even try to avoid visiting him, because, he fit kill person with "ejo wewe"
thirdly, my boss.....chai, im yet to see a woman who can talk more than her, fortunately, im able to know d wife,,,,,,hhhm... She is as gentle as dove, i tell you, my oga, we dont live in his house, but i tell you, all of us know what happens in his house thru him, there is nothing he cant say, i have never seeing him sitting alone meditating, he must be in d midst of pple gisting everyday, to d extent that its even affecting his performance and effectiveness in our place of work. Funny and informative, but number 6 is not always right, i have seen some new mothers, who practise exclusive bosomfeeding and still get pregnant within d first 4 months of putting to bed,........, though, its exceptional, but i have seen not less than 8 instances. So, on that one o, it depends on individual's body metabolism.

Well, each to his/her own, to me, its a turn-off, but, i have seen a guy who saw a lady for d first time and d guy proposed marriage to her that same day, d lady accepted that very day and slept in d guy's place that very day, they got married exactly 3 months later, but d marriage did not last for 2 years b4 they both separated and divorced, they had a girl together, so, @op, no new thing under d heaven, it can happen, but it depends on d individuals involved.
