@ op, are you talking about d same guy here? https://www.nairaland.com/1009265/getting-married-without-financial-security#11684100 |
@op,If you fail to plan, you plan to fail, as d saying goes. So stay there and continue to complain about a month been difficult when d fault is actually your after doing all d big, bigger and biggest boys/girls during d xmas/new year party, failing to remember that you will have financial obligations to meetafter all d show-off. Well, relax, January is fast going, you will soon collect another salary. ![]() Cheers! |
aadetoyin: January is like every other month in d year but the problem is that people spend too much during the Xmas n New year holidays and they end up having nofin left for January. Its beta to have a budget of what u want to spend during the festivities, that way u won't have to worry in january.thank you and God bless you, you have just said what is in my mind |
This is part of d result when we allow our kids to have too much freedom, when parents refuse to befriend their children, when parents dont monitor d kind of company their children hangs up with,............ Well, as some have already suggested, he needs a councillor/psychologist to put him back on track. Secondly, i can almost swear that, that big and scary thing he talked about is most likely to be related to cultism, so, if need be, there may be change of enviroment, so that he will be disentangled from d bad company he is keeping. Next, to avoid continous contact with d presumed company he is keeping, his phone/iphone, laptop and any other gadgets that may ease his continous contact with d presumed company should be seized, or withdrawn from him for the time been. He is an adolescent, no doubt, at this stage, teenagers are easily misled by peers especially, so, d parents need to be closer and more friendly to him to enable them have his confidence. Now, op, where is d father in this picture, how friendly is d mother? What do you think you can do to help d young man? I think with d way you said he discussed with you, you can be more closer, probably opening up d more for you when he notice your consistence and love towards him. Above all, d boy needs prayer, d devil/enemies might want to use him against his family, as in, as an instrument of sorrow, so d op and d parents need to pray against every shackles of d enemy over his life. Pls, mark my word, i said prayers, not deliverance in churches, lest d parents be ripped off their money or d parents be scared more. Our God is loving, we can pray by ourselves without any intermediaries, d4, d boy need to be prayed for seriously. May God help us all. |
@ op, these are your own opinions and d last time i checked, everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. May God help us to make good and meaningful decisions this year............ Amen. |
No, its not right, remember d kid's brain is just developing, doing that means trying to corrupt d good things in d kid's brain by thinking that, going to beer parlour is a good phenomenon/practice. Btw, even for you, its not right for you to patronise beer parlouring, remember that, bad company destroys good manners. May God help us all. Cheers! |

Greedy! |
I think your mother is suffering from insecurity, hence, seeing her as a rival and not as a daughter in law. She is dominative and do not want anything/anyone, not even your wife to be in-between both of you....you are d one to fight for your freedom, for your right, try to educate her, as important as she(your mother)is in your life, she cannot perform your wife's role, so, confront her respectfully and demand for your freedom and right. May God help us all. |
Even me, sef fit do this, so its not a bad idea, atleast, it will help to caution |
i really sympatise with you for what you are passing thru, everyone has one thing or d other they pass thru in their marriage, ther is no perfect marriage anywhere, all that counts is tolerance and compromise, but with your decision to get a 2nd wife will not solve your problem either, why dont you try and cool down with her, ask her why she normally run away after disagreement, that is if you are not d one causing it in d first instance, have a long chat with her, try to woo her back. If she still repeat what she does after you have talked with her, you can involve someone whom she respect very well to help you talk to her,or you involve a councillor betterstill. Make everything possible to make your marriage work, consider your children, your status and you and your wife's happiness befre thinking otherwise. Introducing polygamy into your life and marriage will add more to your problems, believe me, im frm a polygamous family, and i know what im talking about, i cant wish my enemy polygamous experience, no, i cant be that wicked. May God help us all. |
