BiafranBushBoy:Justified statements. What still beats imagination is how they will still get votes next year. Next year election may be about choosing between non-excellent choices, but there is a saying of going with the better 'evil'. The best of the present we have seen is as the worst of the worst. In better climes, one of the best, in which ever rating be it personal achievements, contributions or brilliance, often represent the rest, it is the opposite right here. It is antithetical to say we are being led or represented by our best. |
10th world country. Now that data centre is burnt, many classified docs wee also gone in smokes, and thus many cases or profiles are irretrievable. And the minds of the Nigerians who know how the country is can capture the rest of the story. The world is in 21st century, here is just 16th. The future of any organization, company or a nation which can't make the best of data is worse than being bleak. Until data management vis-a-vis accountability has a top interest in the heart of those in power, the business will be as usual. Needless to say that the nation got here in the first place because here data can lie, from census, to polls, to financial figures, etc #CloudComputing |
So madam, whose mistakes are you set out to repeat? I don't get it; what is practised in here is not really political campaign, debates or manifestos, but rather scathing criticism and skepticism. Tell us what you want to do, not what others are doing wrongly which no one is sure you will do differently. Records have it: the greatest critics of leadership are often the least fit for leadership. It is election time, when everyone knows how to drive the rudder of the nation better than the others...but with the mouth only. |
IamD18:You expect something better from someone whose appellation is 'rude'? Immaturity hollering at the rooftop... While accusing of someone sowing evil seeds, I bet these seeds himself is sowing are holy seeds... |
Oh Kathryn! I knew her since on Quora. Down to earth, say it the way it is. There are many insights to learn from her answers on that platform. |
Hard work Going extra mile (nobody ever becomes anything substantial and noticeable not doing beyond what is required...ask any top-performer in any field) Smart work a 21-century coinage, possibly, is of more mental exertion in order to sweat less, because the labour of the foolish must surely wear him out... But smart work is not a walk in the park, reason why many don't do it. G.B. Shaw said many will rather die than think...but a caveat is that smart work still needs hard work to fly. Edison said success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration. If only smart work is what is necessary, success coaches won't be preaching that to become an ace or a legend of any skill, you will need about 10,000 hours of investment in it. So hard right? That's why many more are average than being a genius in their calling Luck...an overrated luck. Nature is guided by law, not by luck. So waiting for luck is as wasting away. Because laws guide life, that's why it is predictable, Luck is not. What could be nearly interpreted as luck from Ecclesiastes view is 'Time and Chance'. Thus my own definition of success is being ready when your opportunity comes. Preparation meeting opportunity. Before you wait for luck ask yourself if C. Ronaldo became so via luck or work? If Edison made his inventions by wishful thinking or mental plus hard labour, if leaders of thoughts became so accidentally. It is a fact that many were born great, many had greatness thrusted upon them while some paved way into their own greatness...the last on the list is always the most enduring, inspirational and repeatable because the know-how has been cultivated. Luck can be easily misunderstood in this part of the world especially where people can easily lay their hands on fortune they didn't work out themselves...but it is not akways the ideal way of hitting success. No serious person waits for luck or interprets success as luck. Success has principles, luck does not, and the earlier you know and work out the rules of success, the faster and luckier you can get. |
potent5:I love that song so much! |
Rebuke:You said it all, all I wanted to say |
princechurchill:I like your English: 'political correctness' |
Good information. Very correct; I knew some to be true, I can't doubt the rest |
This is wow. Truly mystery is a form of science that's yet to be mastered while science is a mystery which has been studied, understood and mastered (Kunle Soriyan) This is a miracle of a kind. |
In space of a month, a 'cousin' became a 'former cousin', just because he sold himself to the ... Is it your 'sold'? ![]() |
Very boring. Has he now defeated BH? You should give credit to him that he said it, and him despite being a millitary general, no victory to date, except lies in high places. |
Very childish, incompetent and distracted government. Are they even supposed to be addressing everything going on in the opposition? Sign of agitation and restlessness. Focus lost; relevance damned. |
You guys must work for your monies. Very daft comments up and down. As if your merchandise Buhari is a saint. |
ThierryJay:Well-submitted submission. As much as I don't know Fela Durotoye as he knows himself, I believe he couldn't have been bribed. FD is a brand which has been built on some great values over the years. Well, anyone is permitted to differ on this. To easily believe that he has been bought is to belong among the class of humans who think money is superior to many things and all things. Many billions can't redeem a spoilt name and reputation. To what end? |
APC. Millitary-in-mufti . Nigeria politics. One-chance. |
God, a fearful Creator, an awesome Designer! Many things are yet in existence not known to man. |
Criis:Talk about money, fame... more especially the M O N E Y Money doesn't only make the world go around, but even upside down. Do you know that even Davido's father gave up on preventing him from being a musician, not a gospel musician o, even though the dad is a staunch Christian...all because at the end of the day, Davido has not done bad in adding more money and/or influence to Adeleke's dynasty. Money is powerful. Nothing against Davido. Nothing against anyone. Just saying that it is a powerful thing. May we have it more and more and more... |
I just saw the video just now. I mean, when did Nigeria start getting it wrong exactly? Being a farmer or a designer is never a curse but if this reply is coming from health minister... someone might actually need some medication. No marvel, as the president, so are the members of his cabinet. Great leaders attract or make great workforce. #NigeriaIsNotAGoal |
So this bearded man has been in politics even as a political appointee for almost 4 decades now, and he still wants to be a Governor again? Appointee of failure? Nothing positively great can be traced to him save that he has houses and many wives?? Is there any greater meaning of insanity? Nigeria clearly doesn't belong to the youths of this generation |
slivertongue:The person could be you too. Never say never. |
You need to work more on your English if it is only one error you can spot in that his tweet. |
You appreciate CU successes, but you hate CU rules? By the way no one is compelled to come, and you are meant to sign an oath/agreement to abide by the rules right from the inception...so why the criticism? It is nothing but culture to instil discipline. Can you survive being in the military without becoming disciplined or living a regimented life? Don't go to CU if they are too harsh. Simple. It is not everyone that like their approach, but there will always be some who will do. |
There's always more to all news. Always right until another witness share his side of the episode. |
zizirecords:Don't mind them. You think Nigeria leaders are the main problem the country has? The bigger problem lies with Nigerians themselves. Power is with the people, but greed, ignorance, disunity, sentiment, and I-don't-care attitude are among the reasons Nigeria might not be ever better. Nigerians know what is fine, but self-deception and eating-tomorrow's-fortune-today are the incurable addictions. |
360great:Sincerely your mind is working. A leader means the best rep of the rest. Going by that definition, if Buhari is our best, it a huge insult on us all. It tells on us that many things are not well. I am not against his person, but I think it is worrisome when some people all feel that he is the best that can be. Political sentiment is headquartered in Nigeria, faithfulness to a party and individuals, more Paramount than what will move the country forward irrespective of tribe, religion or class. I belong to no party, but will always give thumb to any worthy leader...but such seems like an illusion in Nigeria country-space. Saddening. |
If in the world language, you would be termed 'legend' because of your many great songs, but much more than that is that you are a blessing. Sinach truly is. Discovering your talents/purpose and working same out with sheer diligence would always end in greatness. |
Mutemenot:Deep, weighty statement! Great prayer of the heart. People prosper better indeed when they are functioning in what they are hardwired to do. |
Say campaign stratagem? |
danbrowndmf:Of course, his answers always settle argument. Those answers could be HolyGhost inspired, and could as well be result of deep habitual thinking lifestyle. Meditative thinking is powerful. He has said it times past that he thinks more than he prays. |
NOC1:It is dopest |

Watching her frolicking with a guy she's not married to and there's no assurance she'll get married to when she ought to be in school.
