TheAngry1: This is the beginning...save this post. Soon, Nigerians will ambush and beat up their governors and elected officials, ransack their houses, take all they can, and burn them alive. Save this! Everyone who has conspired to empty our commonwealth, leading to the preventable death of millions of Nigerians, will NOT go unpunished. You took the words from my mouth. It may take time but someday the elected would be scared of the electorate. |

Celebrities › Re: Daddy Freeze: "My Born Again Aunt Told Me That Fela Was Evil" by GreatrAnalyst: 6:53pm On Jul 04, 2018 |
alBHAGDADI: If people had taken Fela seriously, many will be married to 27 wives. Fela made it seem like smoking Igbo was cool. Many have ended up in psychatric hospital due to his influence. Yes, he did say some sensible things, but people who do not understand Nigeria's politics will be quick to think he was totally fighting for the masses. His attack on the government was mostly fueled by the fact that his mother was schemed out of things in government. In Nigeria, once you are schemed out of things, you suddenly take sides with the masses against those that have power in government. Examples are Reno Omokri and FFK. Though I like how they attack this Jihadist government, but where was their voice in support of the masses when they were in power then? Now that they are out, they now remember that the masses are suffering and should be helped.
First, Fela was no prophet and there was nothing visibly sanctity about him. The man was a polygamist who smoked weed a lot. No sensible parent with the fear of God will wish their child to be like Fela. Just take a look at how Freeze boldly stepped on a religion he claims to be upholding while he glorifies Fela.
While I understand that there are false teachings and false teachers which Freeze is clearly one of, I do not subscribe to the throwing away of the materials he listed because many of them are true teachings. The false teacher called Freeze is even recommending Fela's music as substitute for those materials. He has clearly gone mad.
There is no such thing as Jewish Christianity. Christianity is not of tribe but of spirit. If at all there is a thing called Jewish Christianity according to Freeze, then it is the type that tells people to throw away Christian materials and replace them with Fela's music that inspires igbo smoking. Mind you Freeze, Jesus didn't come from Jerusalem, he was killed there.
Keep listening to Freeze at your own peril. I can't clearly say more. Freeze has been sounding like scratched CD since time immemorial. The frustration of the Pastors he is criticizing is same which is sending him to asylum. His ministry of criticism he got from devils; Seeker of cheap media attention. |

midolian: I don't know why these people are better than us in virtually every profession they have interest in.
If a Nigerian "barber" tries this, I bet you, you wouldn't know if it's Messi or Taiye Taiwo Very thought provoking words really. Actually, it is not because of only great talent or gifts that many of them are seen as outperforming than us, but much more on devotion/dedication. For instance, to say that Messi and Ronaldo are who they are alone just because of talent will be very much of falsehood, those close to those guys, more especially C. Ronaldo said that he trains harder, greater and practises more than an average player. That's dedication. A typical Nigerian craft persons have local trainings under fellow local champions, and it goes on like that. Michael Jordan said he became a star because he failed at what he knew how to do best, many times, but by dedication, his records are still speaking. Talent will fail where dedication is lacking. There is what they call 10,000 hours investment/training into anything you want to ever master and become a reference point in(it is a popular belief among coaches or trainers)...but how many people in this part of the world are ready to invest such a length of time to become a master of anything?! Dedication is greater than talent and it is no magic at all. |

By the time Buhari and his inept and disastrous government have been kicked out, then it will be payback time for IGP Ibrahim ''transmission'' Idris, Jimoh Moshood (who called a state governor a drowning man), DSS boss himself, Garba Shehu and the cabal. Seriously, I am so much interested in payback for IG. He is so loaded today that he forgets that tomorrow is so near, either you leave power someday or power leaves you any day... Worse still he is not a politician, and nearly all his steps resemble that of a pawn in the hands of a non-clever old figure. Surely there is an end; Nigeria has never had IGP this lopsidedly bad. |

With the likes of buhari as a president, i smell hope for our dear country. Almajiri, the one whose destiny is condemned to be beggarly, I don't answer lowlife like you because your reasoning is primitive and your mentality very untutored, but in the meanwhile let this be hammered into your skull: I don't have any favourite in government save anyone who would be there to serve the populace and make life better than it is met. Everyone around me back then knew how I anticipated for the present government on the high hopes of true change...but you because you are muddled in your mind, misguided in your orientation, and of a victim of your own personal disoriented reason to have believed that even if your favourite 'person' is underperforming, your gut is so impotent to call a spade, a spade and never be in support of a disaster-in-office, called a president. That's who you are: a sham of human not meant to dwell among the reasonable...for supporting a government which has failed in every frontiers. Monumental shame...your middle name! |
