One reward for being part of this government is losing sense and good reasoning. |
ATEAMS:True, very true |
Baawaa:Quite possible. It depends on how either vital or not the place the bullet is lodged. And beside it is verifiable. He couldn't have lied about it. X-ray should have proved him wrong if not |
Meaningless panel at best. We already have seen what's playing out in Lagos. Either now or later, all of you people acting principalities in high places obstructing justice and dealing evils to the onward movement of Nigeria will get served by your own dose of medicine, one at a time. |
If J. F. Kennedy was mentioned as a one-term President because of assassination in his 3rd year, why was the great Abe Lincoln not mentioned too. He had same experience like President John Kennedy. Not bad write up though. |
ivolt:It is not really about where is she running to. She's not even based in Nigeria but United States as an Attorney. It was the Covid 19 lockdown that locked her to Nigeria since and for whatever reason she's yet to go back. And even if she intends to travel out for whatsoever reason, when did it become an an offence? Because one speaks against the government, the person can't travel again? The main demon behind the peaceful coexistence of Nigeria as a nation is the government at the helm of power. If care is not taken, what they are driving the country at, it might not survive it. |
jedisco:The question is did they use their personal money to do it? Even while doing it, budget is blown out of proportion, borrowed budgetary funds oh! I think the saying is justified that a people deserve the kind of leaders they get. Praising public servants for doing what they were elected to do...only in Nigeria. |
How would this Femi of a guy keep up his life after his job with the current administration? I have never seen any human who defends lies and deception with his entire breath like he does...just because of paycheck. Time is a teacher. Cluelessness has expiry hour |
KevMitnick:Wetin Westlife no go see for empty street? ![]() |
Your counsel will not see the light of the day. Fools and idiots in place of honour. Social media didn't destroy the people who created it. You guys are afraid of social media because of your evil deeds being exposed o the whole world continually. Too late. The Holy Book says that the wicked ones dont come to where light is so that their work won't be exposed. |
Is it that he is not a human without feeling of hunger or what? Or does the uniform make him a superhuman? I strongly am against the looting, of shops and vandalization of properties, but wait, the so called leaders are doing worse more than this, and theirs is almost legalized because law doesn't hold them responsible for their actions. Hoarding public food in itself should be a punishable crime but again this is Nigeria. This is a case of anarchy where almost everything done is justifiable. |
I wonder why they call them 'looters'. Rather to me, it's like the rightful owners are taking it by force from the looters. Hoarding public goods ranks you on the category of looters |
I wonder why they call them 'looters'. |
sammy329:Be educated! Even Buhari in a drunken state would not do that. Nigeria is a Republic but yet accountable to United Nations and other international communities for how he rules his country based on human rights provisions. No country is an island, not even Nigeria that doesn't produce nearly everything they need...except they want to become another North Korea. And North Koreans would tell you that they live an imprisonment kind of existence. It is that horrible. Sanctions exist for reasons. Diplomacy exists for reasons. United Nations exist for reasons. |
MycroftHolmes:That woman symbolises bitterness. People like her struggle with suicidal thoughts. Besides she has complexes she's just unable to undo. Most of the news she professes to carry are results of hearsay, guesses and permutations, whereby she pretends to predict outcome before an happening becomes it, and if it goes as said, she glories in that euphoria as an investigative journalist. |
Muyiwaipere:I don't think it is really like that. Naira Marley has been reached out by the Minister of Youth and Whatever Development on how this issue will be addressed. Mba, a former Police PRO but now in another capacity also has asked Naira Marley to have a scheduled meeting him today...this is coming because he tweeted that protest would start today. I don't think anyone from the government asked 2face to stop embarking on any protest, except that we learned that his mother dissuaded him from doing it and all that. It shows that Marley means something to government (whatever it means) that 2face does not. I don't think Marley is ever afraid of prison (showing sheer boldness) and that is enough reason for government to seek to have conversation with him. Was 2face ever asked to have talk with anyone in power to stop his protest? More so, the time is a very sensitive one now. Arrest of anyone protesting against SARS, especially public figure, won't be met with silence from Nigerians again. So I feel. Breaking point is being tested. Jungle justice can start any moment hence. |
PurestBoy:Thank youuuuuuu! I was using control + F to search for his name on the list, only your mention came up. I guess the OP didn't know him. |

FarahAideed:You can imagine?! Do they reason at all before they open mouths? You want to earn billion dollars by salary? What is the worth of the company to start with? Without downplaying the Adeleke's worth, this statement is but watery. It doesn't show thinking through. All for the hype and hyperbole |
seunmsg:You really must have been from that side to know him as Lejoka? of Okemesi Ekiti. I think his compound is Ile Aworo(gun) or so |
Angelfrost:Exactly thoughts. I was reading along to see if Messi too would say a thing. I never saw it. It is both ways though, if the accomplishments of 100 goals had been for Messi, would Ronaldo too have congratulated him? I doubt if Ronaldo would have done that. Their rivalry is not really a very 'healthy' one |
So much for the government that gets orgasm only from increasing taxes and all that come with it to generate money. Those of who have taken long walk away from soft drinks, congrats. |
Frankyboy1:As I kept reading those statements, what kept coming to my mind was, could ever Mr. President for the now speak as this composed and intelligent? |
He who God has blessed and helped... |
Leboska:I had to like your post. Very very funny, but it is nothing but the truth. They say a people deserve the kind of leaders they get...wished Buhari would actually only be for and rule over the people who preferred him despite his lacklustre output in the first term, but no, everyone now is in the anguish of a shameful cluelessness |
Bluffly:I strongly believe it can't be a one-time fee. I am not sure of tax in this category that is ever once and for all. Tenement rate and/or property tax and the likes are renewable, so this wouldn't be exceptional. The change preached has come. |
If the word 'prosperity' as it is in the question means wealth, money, then a resounding YES is the answer. Through hard, smart work, through discovery of talents and polishing it to become a cutting edge, through having a very special knowledge solving problems that many would be willing to pay for...wealth/much money is more than possible...except the other meaning you want to attach to 'prosperity' is other than money. Look not far, the Ronaldos, Messis, Gates', Buffets and others of this world play according to those rules above. It actually looks quite odd to me when people exalt paying tithe above self-discovery, creating solutions, solving problems, becoming almost indispensable, etc as reason to get prosperous. Welcome to Nigeria of Africa. |
chariisGRACE:Thanks for saying it as I wanted to. As in 'deal with' them, as a military ruler that he is but only on non-millitary apparel? In a democracy, why should a President 'deal with' a governor? In addition while not backing either Wike or Fayose, it is what it is, we don't have leaders. All of them are some lords, lording it over subjects as they deem fit. Any of them in turn could 'deal with' any other they have disagreement with whom their gamut of powers run circle around. So none of them can really be spoken in favour of. Rulers, not leaders they all are. And the one called Femi Adeshina, he's just the best of who he actually is: a bootlicker. He's at the peak of his relevance. He should max out the moment, sense ran out of him the moment in time he began defending the indefensible. |
"...hire and fire anybody..." When is he going to fire himself? From all indications, he has lost it. His body language is the reason why everyone, everything is like the way it is it. Like boss, like his cabinet. |
emilas1979:Exactly. But I guess he is his own adviser which makes it worse. There's no human adviser (though he has them around) that can caution him on his verbosity and tweet recklessness. |
YorubaKinging:I could see some already branding you some funny names. Leave them. The joke is on them. Their ignorance is up to high heavens. For anyone to feel that this man is a saint because he appears in the name of a Christian, it is quite laughable. Everything the Holy Book he is holding stands for he acts contrary to, how can a leader be talking from both sides of the mouth, living on sensational lies-telling life, and some feel he is for 'Christian'. I feel for them |
Impregnable101:It has been on YouTube ever since beginning of May, free for download |
