And the excruciating cash crunch that followed the policy, certain APC Governors like El-Rufai, Dapo Abiodun, Ganduje etc were confident that Old naira notes will still be spent in Nigeria for a long time and called CBN bluff.

Do you think with the election results that has seen Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President Elect, that the policy will be scrapped and Old naira notes will be allowed to be legal tender again, at least until the new notes are evenly distributed in the country?

Last week, two persons came to my shop and bought goods worth 25k, because of the scarcity of naira, he said he will transfer the money to me, and showed me the debit alert in his phone, I never received the alert. Waited for some minutes and he dropped his phone number (09041106480) and name (Ibrahim) that I should call him if the money doesn't enter my account in 1hr time, been aware of the network delays most times so I allowed them to go with the goods.
After about 3hrs I didn't receive the alert I dialed the phone number and it rang but didn't pick, after some hrs, I dial the number again and it says switched off till this moment.
I searched the phone number on Truecaller and I saw a name "Abdulsamad Olamide", I messaged the number on whatsapp but didn't deliver. There is a young boy's picture on the whatsapp DP. I searched the name on Facebook, it's thesame picture on whatsapp DP that is on Facebook too. I messaged on Facebook but didn't deliver.
That was when it became clear to me that this man might have possibly scammed me.
Pls nairalanders, I need your help on how I can be able to track this man down, or possibly the young boy on Facebook and whatsapp dp, so I can recover my money

Was the person you sold goods to,the same person on the Whatsapp or Facebook pictures? Why do you need to track the person who's picture appears on the Facebook? Shouldn't common sense tell you it's fake pictures?

I made a transfer from my union bank account to a first bank account since 2nd of February 2023, I never knew the person did not receive the money, I inquired from the person and he said he didn't get any money with proof of his account statement.
I have tried to reach union bank to no avail as I can't go to their office due to the nature of my work. I have wasted airtime calling thier customer care but no response.

1. Anything worth doing at all is what doing well. You wrote waec,Jamb and post jamb so as gain admission, nobody puts a robe on your neck to force you to be an undergraduate. I blame you for your carry overs,and wouldn't be surprised if you're a lazy bunch like 90% of Students we have in tertiary institutions today.
2. Nevertheless that's not the end of life. As far as you were admitted on merit,it means you have the intellectual capacity to have at least 2:2. So pick up your lazy ass,grab your books,have a time table to read, attend lectures,remove frivolities like unnecessary friends,boys or girls, partying or cultism from your life. You will rise again.
If you give it your all and still not excelling as you should,no problem,first degree won't determine your future,you can be anything you want,find your passion,learn the skill and make money from it
What I studied at the University is not what I'm using to eat today,same with my boss. And same goes for millions of people.
Find your passion,learn it perfectly,be the best you can, promote your skill and make money from it.

This shouldn't call for much worry. It's pimples but you do break them,that's why they left little black spots.
