America's next presidential election will be interesting, things already heating up at governorship level. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZJ0Dl_wMiA |
Don't worry President Erdogan. The prayer of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) suffices for you and your country till the end of time. |
The basis for which you rejected the observing of mawlud: Tadeknkeepcalm:Was wrong and was corrected by this hadith: Al-Harith ibn ‘Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Mu’adh to Yemen and he said, “How will you judge?” Mu’adh said, “I will judge according to the Book of Allah.” The Prophet said, “What if it is not in the Book of Allah?” Mu’adh said, “Then, with the Sunnah of the messenger of Allah.” The Prophet said, “What if it is not in the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah?” Mu’adh said, “Then, I will strive to form an opinion .” The Prophet said, “All praise is due to Allah, who has made suitable the messenger of the Messenger of Allah.”. Your hadith quotations: Tadeknkeepcalm:Were wrongly reworded in your above verdict as what The Prophet "did" or "did not" but the quotations show that the scope is wider than that by the phrase "our matters" which is detailed in the above hadith of Muaz bin Jabal. There we saw that it is not only about what The Prophet (PBUH) did or didn't do that count as acceptable in judicial matters. Your attempt to support your claim with the understanding of the Sahaba (RA) did not come with any evidence to support your view. When I see someone who can explain these flaws of the modern narratives flying around, I shall continue with him. Thank you. |
Tadeknkeepcalm:You came to give a verdict on a practice as nonsense innovation and that verdict could only have been possible if you considered the practice as a judicial matter which is the context under which you can give your verdict. If you did not consider the practice as a judicial matter but rather to be outside the space of judicial matters, then you should not have made the comment. This way there is no need for you to ask me whether the hadith that I quoted is dealing on judicial matters or not. You are putting the cart before the horse by asking me if the hadith was on judicial matters or not because you have already given a verdict on the subject matter as nonsense innovation which set the context as speaking on a judicial matter. So can you now own your verdict and tell me if you are giving a position based on placing the practice within the context of a judicial matter or outside of it? Thought process matters, I hope you understand? |
Tadeknkeepcalm:There is something of a mix-up that is coming from your side based on this post of yours. You came to label a practice as a nonsense innovation and now you are asking me if it is a judicial matter? Why then did you come to label it as a nonsense innovation if you did not consider it a judicial matter? Tadeknkeepcalm:How did the companions understand it? Did they understand it differently from the above given hadith? |
Tadeknkeepcalm:So the phrase we are looking at is 'matter of ours' and not 'what I do': 'matter of ours' has a wider scope than 'what I do'. The hadith of Muaz Bin Jabal to Yemen breaks this down: Al-Harith ibn ‘Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Mu’adh to Yemen and he said, “How will you judge?” Mu’adh said, “I will judge according to the Book of Allah.” The Prophet said, “What if it is not in the Book of Allah?” Mu’adh said, “Then, with the Sunnah of the messenger of Allah.” The Prophet said, “What if it is not in the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah?” Mu’adh said, “Then, I will strive to form an opinion.” The Prophet said, “All praise is due to Allah, who has made suitable the messenger of the Messenger of Allah.” - Tirmizi |
Tadeknkeepcalm:And he said "What I did not do" is innovation In matters of the religion or you reworded it like that because what I am implying here is that rewording can project other meanings, right? |
Tadeknkeepcalm:Did The Prophet (PBUH) say that 'what I did not do' is nonsense innovation? |
chrisxxx:That is outright misinformation and incorrect! Mecca was the last city to come under the rule of Islam during the time of The Prophet (PBUH), that is after Islam had already gone international, and here you are mentioning Saudi Arabia as a country. It is obvious, by this, that we can't expect Saudi Arabia to be the pioneer in everything about Islam. |
Those monikers saying trash about Islam, your comeuppance, like the fate of those before you, is near. Though when you get repaid in full for your arrogance now, it may not be readily connected to your faceless handles. Anyway, that is how inconsequential you all are in the grand scheme of things. |
UnabashedIPOB:Unhealthy rivalry indeed! Divide Yorubas along religious lines and call one part Afonjas, albeit, using a Yoruba owned platform to galvanize that division (pains to drag NL along that line, but truth be told). And when it feels like idea is sold and bought, turn around to burn down their center of unity, Lagos, and ransack their Oba's house, and finally put the stamp of no man's land or waste land on them. |
Me waiting for Igbos to point out non indigenes holding political posts in the igbo states.
|
Babinski:What a detailed analyses based on, of course, media projections but, as usual, devoid of contextual history. Why not ask yourself for example, in Afghanistan, why did the Talibans/AlQaeda had to fight the Mujahideens (who were already in power). Trace the maniplative hands behind the scenes and how they make you see what you see about Islam. |
And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes - Quran 43:71 Asking a question with premeditated conclusion. Smh! Edyice: |
Liar!!! You don't need to tell a lie to make a point. tiger28: |
@Righteousness You are not stealing a miracle from the Qur'an today? Anyway, enjoy this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAifpqAGANE Even if you did not live in the time of the prophet Muhammad (saw), you can verify his miracles today. That is called universality of miracles. In Islam, they are all over the place in plain sight, and no digging up of the earth is required. |
Chai!!! That means come and borrow, now. |
Defenders of nudity and government blamers will be hiding now. |
MufasaLion:In my opinion a larger percentage of white society are actually very decent, disciplined and very straight-forward. Exponents of these humanly degrading unclothedness are few ideologists among them. But give the average black man a phylosophy that feeds his desires, a large percentage go into indulgement and disorientation. There are still many parts of the country where you can enjoy upwards of 18h/d electricity supply. Once you stay focused in what you do, you can still transform a whole lot of things for yourself slowly but steadily without all of these bitterness towards any government. |
The people raging at the man are closet porn lovers and a good percentage of them are chronics at it so they see the lady as yet fully covered. This is a matter that has obscured their hearts due to unbridled cravings to satisfy base desires and the ample access to same. |
I will gladly support a Buhari third term agenda. If he sidesteps that, then it's Jagaban for me |
Lol, you guys are spoiling the market for righteousness. Not sure this is how he wants the narrative to proceed. |
A company becomes successful because it is managed with talented employees irrespective of ethnicity and religion and these are regular people like you and me. The most tasking job for any management is to stay competitive in the industry especially one that is as competitive as the FMCG where you have got several alternatives. The simple fact that Nasco have been able to remain relevant through the decades means that they have brilliant people over there and I am sure the names and the religious affiliations of its employees will reflect the company's openness to staying this competitive. Therefore, to present Nasco as a muslim company whose interest is to support terrorism is way too far fetched. The history of wahhabism was deceitfully presented in that report to hide the main actors and how its ideologies had been used in the past to really hurt Islam (itself) by its western and capitalist backers and how it began to transmute into other violent forms were carefully concealed. |
Buhari for life jhor! |
NobleRace:I did read the report and I remembered leaving a comment over there and I did not intend to mislead anyone with this comment now. I attempted to present the fact as I know it. I am open to correction though if pointed out. Updated: Having read the full report, it is indeed indicting on the founder of Nasco What is paining me is that the entire story is being told by half imho. How the focus now is solely on Wahabism without making reference to the insidious hands of the capitalist West that used the ideology to bring down the Ottoman empire and foster ideologically discordant regional autonomies is the missing link that some readers may never understand. Trying to use groups that have morphed into violent forms with an intent to indict all muslim leaders who have ever served the nation is even worse and may be reeking of another hidden agenda especially when the hands that manipulate the strings behind the scenes are deliberately being kept out of the narration. That was where I was driving at. |
Bagehot:Yes I did, so what? I have read the full report via another link. Thanks. This is uncalled for. The report didn't show that Nasco cornflakes as a company supported terrorism Any body could have started a business that turns big if well managed. Look at Dangote for example, how does his religious affiliations affect the quality of his brands? I was once told not to use Ariel detergent because the founder is an atheist. If I followed that, how many products would I have to boycott now also? Turning away in arrogance to mislead [people] from the way of Allah . For him in the world is disgrace, and We will make him taste on the Day of Resurrection the punishment of the Burning Fire. - Quran 22 verse 9 complete shock, of course. A tragedy. - cbsnews Initially, there is nothing that points to anyone else being involved. - nbc Initially, there is nothing that points to anyone else being involved - theguardian We haven’t closed the door yet to the possibility that it could be a crime, but nothing points to that now - washintonpost One eyewitness told the Aftonbladet newspaper that the car Vilks was thought to be in seemed to lose control and came over to his side of the motorway at high speed. The truck in front did not have time to swerve and then they collided in a loud bang at "incredible speed" - bbc The miracles of Islam are REAL always, no ambiguities! Those of you who have been drawing inspiration from him and his likes to post trash here on NL based on contestable narrations, your oga at the top has met his waterloo. Change now, before its too late. Allahu ta'ala is oft-forgiving and merciful. |
Eriokanmi:You are using the shadow that is cast on the front side of picture 5 that is marked as the site of the 'golden calf' as part of the area covered by the scorches. The appearance of the site of the golden calf is no different from the other areas without the scorches.

Eriokanmi:You only seem to me to be good at covering your gaffes. But hard as you try, you make even bigger mockery of yourself. No wonder you have ended up messing up your holy book with what you have in the bible today: edit, lie, cover up again edit, lie, cover up and then the cycle continues to what end? Be confusing yourself with a shadow cast and be forming geologist. |
