MadamVanessa:watch who you mingle with. And preach to your brothers and husband |
The girl is cheap. Move! |
Jeon:Kana ina yenzu |
Fatbam005:something tells me next year will start with increased fuel price. Its a pattern already |
money121:Oh... I didn't even realise I was talking with the person in question. Omo.... you arrogant oooo I'm sure you think owning the roofing company is the biggest achievement known to mankind so you can do and undo. You're really a small minded person. Peace mehn. |
money121:I won't lie I like igbo people because of their natural instinct for business. In the business world, what he did is very wrong. If he was working in a good establishment they can sack him for that response. Its wisdom he should have used. He could have just ignored. Or send him the video and tell him that he is still expecting his response ooooo like jokingly See.... even if that guy doesn't patronise you, he can refer you tomorrow. In business its more important to grow a network. Read the chat again, it's not good for a contractor that wants to grow. This is just the bitter truth. You can be right and still play the f0ol just to win tomorrow. |
9jatriot:Exactly. One client I had has a very bad temper. He's so condescending that sometimes after his call tears would fill your eyes and you may imagine it's better to insult him and end the relationship. Last year December, I got the biggest solar contract in my entire life from him. 256 solar panels. You know what that is.... This year, we are already talking about a project 6 timed bigger than for 2024. Mind you, he hadn't changed. His temper is still as bad |
money121:I'm not sure you can survive in business or manage a brand. In business you need to be patient and put your brand before your personal wishes. Have you ever heard mtn customer care insult anyone even if the customer is hurling insults at them? Run your business like a pro and not like a local person |
Guyman01:omo this guy no just get sense at alllllllll ![]() |
ahnie:she must have known the kind of person he is. That type of Character doesn't start overnight. They always give red flags that would have made her sensible enough to secure her finances. She was careless leaving fried fish with a dog. Now l hope she has also heard of men who rape their daughters just incase she Also left her daughter in his care |
Persephone1:All your posts and topics are centered around dating, marrying, reproduction and all... How far? Any problem? |
Lamanii22:If your sister sees any of his defect or weaknesses as a human that she may ordinarily cope with or patiently help him get through, shaitan would always whisper in her heart "maybe this is why his ex left." "Maybe he can't change" maybe this thing is deeper than I see |
Abeg make we rest for this obi matter. It have do sir. Go and rest. |
Will he attend your wedding? |
Light up a cig |
Felimax:brother I was born and bred in benin city. I have seen what I'm telling you. I mean it. It's not just about you. There is something called pyrrhic victory. You win a bread and loose an elephant. Not all battles should be fought. Learn to know when to be a lion and when to be a fox. No matter how strong you are. A gun man is a gun man. He is not going to accept poetry from you once it's time to pull a trigger. Remember.... the topic here is how to respond to abuse. Sometimes, your response should be to engage the appropriate law enforcement agency to take action and not you getting physical with the person if you're unarmed. This is fundamental. |
Mosba:Well.... japa has separated my family so badly that I haven't seen my two brothers face to face in the last 10years. I'm the only child born by my parents in Nigeria. |
Some resemblances don't even need a test. If you see my son in the moon, you'd still ask him about me because of the resemblance. I once did a photo collage of himself at 1years and my childhood picture at 1year. That photo would make you laugh. You won't see any difference except in the picture quality from the cameras of those days |
Felimax:The thing is a total stranger is a dangerous person to confront. You don't know if he has a gun or even a knife. If you were armed enough to cater for a surprise by a gun man, then its still safer than engaging one with your bare fists. It's not rocket science, he would kill you without efforts |
theamazonguru:Okay. The social media has a way of manipulating our minds. Some news are true, but some are exaggerated. And sometimes just because we always read negative things about a place, we just make an impression of the place. I'm sure you would be very shocked if you stayed in Maiduguri for one month. Its almost like abuja. There are many Christian indigenes too and their command of English language would amaze you. If you interact with them ordinarily, you would bet your fairy tooth that they're southerners from delta. Not even the hausa accent. They are well educated. Boko haram was just a political machination. Not that Muslims and Christians don't love each other. These news you hear take pace in thick villages and not as frequently as the media makes it seem. I am also a victim of media effect. For some reasons, I have fear for the south. I am scared of portharcourt though I haven't been there. I read and see videos of cultist attacks in the south and east. Or ritual killings there. I had a tutor who wanted to teach me how to build dsp sinewave inverter in calabar. Guess what, I paid him 300k to take flight to abuja so we do the training in a hotel there. Just because I was scared of calabar. At last he didn't agree to come because he became scared of me. The same me usually travel to Maiduguri from kano at 9pm and do night journey by road. |
theamazonguru: ![]() Have you ever been there? Don't judge from what you see or read online oh. It's exegerated for real. Maiduguri is a nice place on a serious note. |
Xwizard:Exactly. I prefer to do japa by investment if I have such money. Most people don't really leave because of wealth alone. Its just general welfare. Government responsibility and accountability to the people, judicial system that works, security system that works, education that is correct and frequently updated, infrastructure that are built by competent hands, stability in currency and prices of things. This country is honestly bad. Imagine Nigerians are now relocating to smaller African countries. The level of corruption is unparalleled. And it doesn't seem to be getting better. If you're not from the ruling class, how do you survive! People earning less than 200k here are struggling. And what percentage of Nigerians earn that much. The struggle is depressing. If it doesn't affect you directly, it affects your neighbours and relatives. It creates hatred and security risk. I used to be against relocating but not anymore. If I have such money, I would go to a cheap country like Malaysia. |
DEBJOCH1:we are only comparing social media information to reality. We are seeing how what we read and hear shapes the impressions we hold about people and places we have never experienced ourselves. Not that I am insulting or belittling OGUN state in any way. He mentioned his fear for Maiduguri and I laughed because I know he has an exergerated version of the security situation there. Now that I mentioned what I heard about OGUN state, he also laughed at how exegerated the news I have been getting is. The lesson is that social media just makes us hate and afraid of each other. If we meet ourselves and go to the places ourselves, we could be good friends and we could love the places irrespective of our cultural and religious differences |
If I get money for japa na Malaysia I go ball in |
misreal:there needs to be a revolution in this country |
Xwizard:Lool. You can imagine. But if you ask 10 people here, 8 will tell you exactly what I have told you. And the remaining 2 must have lived there or have someone living there. While the news you here about Maiduguri happens in the thick villages. Yes there are many incidents of gruesome killings there, but none in Maiduguri Town. Its not too different from abuja. If I count the most beautiful states I have visited, Maiduguri is one of them. It compares favourably with kano state. |
Xwizard:I hear theres a lot of ritual killings and high proliferation of charms. They say native doctors have shrines on the road the same way trader's have stores in kano or alaba market. I hear that almost every house has a graveyard in it. And that Internet fraudsters with charms are everywhere making cost of life there very high, while killing and kidnapping people for rituals even in places you would suppose are protected like hotels. I don't know how true but it definitely influenced my judgement when my organisation told me to choose between been posted to ogun state or jigawa. I picked jigawa even though I know ogun state is close to lagos. You see.... the media has a way of influencing us and our mindset. Its possible that all this opinions I hold of ogun state are not even true. But I will panic if you tell me I am visiting ogun state today. |
Xwizard: .You guys hear alot of funny rumours about the north sha.... Maiduguri is not the way you hear it oooooo |
Dmama1991:Muslims prayers is very quiet. The call to prayer is less than 1 minutes |
Urheadmaster:that's why buying land inside estate is better. Because one church can suddenly relocate near you and you have no right to stop their activities in this country |
Xwizard:Hmm... who get 24m for this country no need japa sha. That one na japa by choice. If I get 24m I go relocate to maiduguri go live soft life till the very end |
Jeyun:I'm hausa actually not yoruba |
