My conclusion. You cannot earn 500k and claim middle class anymore. You can't even save and this is for a single person. You can cut your coat according to your size but you definitely can't claim middle class anymore
You are absolutely right. Since subsidy was removed, there is no middle class in Nigeria anymore. As someone above said, in Nigeria there are only the rich, about to be poor, and the poor.
I’m 6ft2. Athletic build. My “go to” wear is a long sleeve shirt (navy blue or black long sleeved) with a dark shade of khakis or blue jeans and my black leather or suede chelsea boots. When it’s colder, I add my black leather or denim jacket, or one of my dark blazers.
I rarely make this hairstyle and I don't know why. Anyway, recently I made it and the compliments I've gotten are too much. I can't even walk down the road in peace Seriously, I thought men only liked it when women wore expensive wigs.
Or maybe they think it's low maintenance, so they stand a chance?? No, I don't think so. Even women complimented the hairstyle☺️
The truth is that over 90% of men can’t tell a cheap wig apart from an expensive one so when you women wear expensive wigs and attachments, honestly it’s other women that know. I pay for whatever my fiancé does to her hair every month but I love it when she takes a break and plaits cornrows. It’s simple, understated and classy.
obi4eze: Okay. Your take home is 59k after tax. Please check the take home of a junior doctor in Australia after tax.
Don’t mind him. Presently in Nigeria a person needs to take home close to N800k to equal just $1k. My friend and former classmate who is a Consultant spoke with me and said his only regret is not leaving for Australia earlier.
We are coming. So tired of the ever increasing work in the hospital, dwindling staff, poor working conditions. It’s between Australia, Canada and the UK for me.
Xenry: Dear women, at the end, what men want is peace of mind. Your nyash or breast won't matter eventually. Logan Paul proposed to his best friend today, and as you can see, he does not care about boobs or breasts. All that matter at the end is peace of mind.
fineboynl: My first experience was a flying bird. The bird were just flying try to cross before my car. But with my spend i just know the bird cant make it through. I only has the sound of heating it from the front bumper.
Another one again was street rat crossing the main road.
I was returning from club around 4am. After much alcohol I decided to just go slowly.
On my way i saw this street rat crossing over my front. I never want to hit it as i even try slow down but still i heard the splash of my tyre climbing it.
It’s true. Upper week I drove my car to my mechanic for an engine oil and filter change and the mechanic’s garage had only one car being worked on. A large place that used to be a beehive of activity. I asked the owner of the place why the place was so empty. He said that since subsidy was removed, majority of people have stopped using their cars.
If they can’t afford to spend all their income on fuel, there’s nothing wrong In getting rid of their cars. One shouldn’t hold on to liabilities just to keep up appearances. Truthfully, one true test of a nation’s development is the ease, comfort and availability of public transportation. Owning a car, in contrast to the common Nigerian notion, is not proof of wealth or well-being. If there was a well-organized and readily available public transportation in the state capitals of Nigeria such as a metro system, I would have definitely sold off my car. After owning different cars since 2008, I can say with confidence that owning and driving a car to work everyday is stressful. Anyone who has been abroad and enjoyed the efficiency of their public transportation will understand what I’m trying to say.
