Halimi24:
I've waited 4 hrs 4 u to respond to my post&dis is the tosh u came up wit?u think u can post rubbish&get away wit it?ur post was nonsense.I perfectly understood it.u were trying to make being 'wifed up' seem better than being a girlfriend and I am&was&still saying trying to say a woman aspiring to be a girlfriend or wife, are both NONSENSE.A woman shld be praised and encouraged 4 desiring to be a doctor, lawyer etc rather than the property of a man. This is a public forum I can post however&whatever I want.Who are u to tell me how to behave??Next time pocket ur disgusting self-righteousness b4 quoting me
*picks up the droppedmic&throws it at his agbalumo shaped head* Wow reading your post one would conclude you are such a bitter person. Clearly you can't state your opinion without insulting someone. I asked you a question earlier you still haven't answered ( would you prefer to be known as an ex or married to someone) still rather you prefer to get on your phones keypads and type about women and career achievement is that the topic of discuss? This is the last time I would be answering you as it is clear you cant discuss or state your opinion without throwing some insult around and secondly I actually have things doing offline than stay online waiting for you to reply like I am jobless. |

Halimi24: marriage is now a great achievement for a woman??
Not being a doctor, teacher, engineer or lawyer??
Yet they wonder why nigeria is such a backward hell-hole Read my post again word for word it seems you misunderstand me. To help you comprehend what I meant, answer this question. Which is a greater achievement being an ex or a married person? No where in my post you quoted did I talk about a lady being a banker, lawyer or doctor not being an achievement. Don't try to play the feminist card here. Please next time mind the way you talk to people online as it is a greater extension of who you are offline. Just because you have been able to get on this forum and interact with people does not give you the right to be calling anyone silly names. Thank you. #dropsmic |

mentorandfriend: It's not the Op. He properly captioned it. It's a stupid mod and his/her craze to drive traffic who gave it that caption on front page. They initial title was "wizkid's ex..." when the thread was created, the Op has modified it but it still bears the former title on Front page as you my brother have rightly noticed. |

Halimi24: What else has she achieved in her life
apart from being wizkid ex-girlfriend?
What is her name again?
'Sophie something'
The OP is right Hmmmmph I didn't know being an ex-girlfriend is much more of an achievement than being a wife anyway what do I know. What I know is her parents gave her a name and now she is married and even changed her name to her husband's. Yes she dated Wizkid but is that how she will be known all through her life. Even you yourself would you like to be known that way always as someone's ex and not someone's wife. Just my thoughts. |

Bonnie17: My Chairman... How is the sound output in your Z3...I have to strain my hears to hear a call and the music is low too..
Is it just naturally low or is there any settings to tweak?
Cc: idris4r83 I faced the same issue as well. Check your ringer volume and set it to the maximum level if you have not already and make use of loud ring tones on the phone like "Jet set" and probably set the vibration while ringing to "on" too. |

nsiazu: Please how do I make the transfer and how will I be charged? You will likely have to source for the funds from a Bureau de change depending on the amount, then pay into your dorm account and instruct your bank to make the transfer to schools account outside the country. Now as regards the charge of 420 naira, this is taken from your account each time you use your atm card outside the country. |

nsiazu: Thanks a lot bro. Please is it their visa card or MasterCard because I wanna withdraw abroad and pay my fees. Why not just make a transfer from your account to the school's account for your fees rather than travel there and start withdrawing for it? have you forgotten that whatever atm card you will use has a daily, weekly or monthly limit? besides that for each withdrawal you are going to pay a charge of about 420 naira. Do the maths before you go get stranded or be faced with the inability of not paying your fees on time. |

After all there are websites that offer money transfer services and can transfer the naira equivalent to any beneficiary of choice at a good rate too, so why should a beneficiary stress with getting hard currency from the bank if it is transferred in a different currency from the naira when it could be converted and sent to the person receiving it? |

lakesidepapa: This is something that happens all the time, but is rarely discussed. Thanks to the nairaland, though, people who observe unusual occurrences, like waking up with three scratches somewhere on their bodies, are starting to talk to each other. And there are a lot of us, and we know the same thing is happening to all of us. When I say it like that, it sounds crazy, right? Sure it does. It sounds crazy to me, even me that's writing about this phenomenon of unexplainable scratches and bruises, it appears on my body sometimes when i wake up in the morning. "What does it mean?" "Why is it happening?" "Who else is it happening to?" "Am I crazy, or is this real?" "What can I do to stop this?" Am pretty sure you get them just after a nightmare or scary dream that is if you can remember your dream. What you are experiencing is a spiritual attack, talk to your pastor or spiritual director about it. Nothing serious fasting and prayers cant solve |

Why the timetable? is it cause you have had 4 babies or said no to him on previous occasions of him trying to have sex with you? it sounds ludicrous being that there is no second wife or is there? Am not married so one can say what do I know but from the little I know prearranging a time or date for sex even in marriage sort of takes the fun out of it. |

1. I remember this girl I dated years ago and this particular dude kept coming to the house. Turns out this guy was a sort of celebrity in my state then not so popular now anyway, back to the story I asked who he was to her and she came up with he is a family friend line and I was like family friend that only shows up at night and more often than not you are usually in his car? Well after that lie no one told me to back off.
2. Another told me a guy that was always around her at her family compound was her cousin, to tell you the truth I believed her. Turns out there was this particular number that always called her whenever am with her and the caller id was saved as "My Love" she told me that it was her mothers phone number but anytime she received a call from that number it was always a male voice. Later,I got close to this guy(the supposed cousin) asked for his number it turns out it was his number she saved as "my love". Well that ended it for me. Today they are both married. I wish them well though, no hard feelings. |

It's refreshing to find someone who's been using the Z3 for such a long time without any 'cracking issue'...
What case are you using for ur Z3.. Is it the DevilCase??
pls can I see a pic? No what I use is not as strong as the devil's case as you can see from the pictures but it sure covers the screen of the phone with a magnetic holder to keep the cover in place.

The Sony Xperia Z3 for me is one of the best premium phones in the market and the best phone I have used so far.I bought mine mid December 2014 and till this minute I have had no regrets. Features: With 20mega pixels for the camera you will agree with me that has to be one great camera for a phone and true it is,check out the pictures below they were taken using the z3 with different camera modes. Initially you might find this a tad challenging I mean adjusting the camera modes to suit a particular picture setting but with time you will get a hang of it. The battery was great, still great compared to other phones I have owned for the same duration. For the first couple of months I had it, I was able to use the phone for over 24 hours but that has reduced now to somewhere around 18hours which we can all agree is due to how long I have had it. Gaming is great on the phone I have played different car race games, adventure games etc and I have never experienced any lag while playing those games. Sound quality is great you have the bonus of an app called "Track ID" identifies whatever music is playing around you be it on the phone or in the room you in. As for the screen, I have had the phone fall a couple of times but not from a height higher than my waist and being that I have a protective casing the screen has never had any form of a crack or been broken. The only thing I have changed on the phone is the Micro Usb cover flap. This was last month and cost about 7.95 pounds(ordered from ebay). It is important to state here that without closing the Micro Usb flap would mean the phone losing its waterproof capability others would have ignored it but I took the choice of changing it. Why would some persons not change it, this could be because having a faulty Micro Usb flap does not prevent one from operating the phone unlike breaking your screen that hampers ones ability to use the phone. Would I buy it again? yes I would, for me I see it as the cheaper version of the Sony Xperia Z5 that was released a year after the Z3 http://www.phonearena.com/phones/compare/Sony-Xperia-Z5,Sony-Xperia-Z3/phones/9550,8764 you can see another review via the link below if you have not seen it already. http://www.trustedreviews.com/sony-xperia-z3-review

Education › Two University Students From Ghana And Nigeria Suspended In UK Over Jollof Rice by guardian09(op): 6:34pm On Jan 09, 2016 |
What a way to get suspended. Two students of College of South West London in the UK have suspended indefinitely for a fight which ended with one of them going home with two broken teeth—and a red eye. The students-Tracy Osei Assibey from Ghana and Lateefa Oyedepo are reported to have gotten into a fierce medieval fight which started from their shared apartment’s kitchen and ended up on the streets. Apparently, Lateefah was peacefully cooking her jolloff rice when Tracy commented that, she was doing it the wrong way and that she shouldn’t use the fat grain easy cook rice. Lateefah then replied that how Nigerians cook jollof is the right way since Ghanaians as usual stole jollof rice from them—adding that, Ghanaian jollof rice tastes disgusting compared to the big rice Nigerian one. That’s how it started—the BBC says, things got heated and soon the two students starting pulling each others weaves, followed by heavy punches. For about two-and-half hours, the students fought each other and descended down stairs from their 5th floor apartment with the fight – until one of the college’s lecturers from Sierra Leone, Mrs. Adelaide Walters, jumped in-between them to pull them apart. At a disciplinary meeting which led to their suspension over the weekend, Mrs. Adelaide Walters, who was present as a witness to the fight, stated that it is absurd for two students who would possibly become future leader to fight over the origin and cooking of jollof rice – especially when both of them are wrong about the origin and cooking method. Mrs Walters indicated to the hearing board that jollof rice originates from her country, Sierra Leone and the way both Ghanaians and Nigerians cook it is wrong but she does not go about fighting anyone. The third year students have been suspended indefinitely by the university. @Misstechy Well done as someone rightly said you keep at both methods of review cause there are some of us that do best with reading and others with visuals.
Also while the camera quality is great (one used in shooting the video),the audio level dropped off when you were comparing the phone with another try to maintain your volume level while recording. if you cant, it can be corrected during editing regardless of whichever volume level was used in making the recording(s). Cheers and well done. |

thatsincerechic: "I have nothing else to say to you but I know you will suffer" I said crying while Chuks was on his knees begging me not to curse him, that it was all a mistake and he was not in control of himself. I cried till it was dawn while he laid on the floor, eyes open and thinking I guessed. He told me he was going to church, that I could help myself with anything in the fridge and wait for him to come back so we could talk. I didn't say anything and watched he leave, soon after he left, I wore my clothes, washed my face and left his place leaving his door open and headed for Amaka's place. All through that Sunday, I was either sleeping or staring at anything or anyone around me.. Amaka tried to know what had happened, why I was moody and my eyes red, but I didn't bulge. I kept telling her i was okay.. Until she left and said she was going to her boyfriend's place to be back the following week. The next day, being Monday, I refused to pick all calls from Andy, Chuks and any other person. I didn't have the strength to speak with anyone, I felt I needed time to heal, most importantly emotionally and psychologically hence I switched off my mobile phone when the calls were getting too much. On Wednesday, two days after, when I was sure I could now face the world, I received a text message from one of my course mates immediately I switched on my phone and the message read "Rose hope you good, been trying to call you all day.. Don't forget *** 215 is tomorrow " " tomorrow, I jumped out Of bed. "which tomorrow... Did she mean today " and when I tried calling her I realised I wasn't having airtime on my line and then I decide that it was best for me to rushed down to school instead. I got to my department and when I could not find anyone offering the course, I knew that all was not well and then a departmental mate asked what I was doing there immediately she saw me, then I replied "I am writing 215 today.. Am I looking for.. " Then she cut in. " I thought you guys have started already, because about an hour ago I heard some of your course mates saying that exam was starting soon". and i stood petrified..... Wow in a situation like this my friend will say "... your enemies dey follow you from village with strong wifi, e be like them just renew the subscription..." |
