The story is not worth reading sef In this Nigeria!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nawa ohhhh. Take a look at the story one of my Naija Watchers sent to me. Happened right in her yard! Hello Naija Watching, My name is Ijeoma. I'm e-mailing you from Lagos. I found your blog on NairaLand and ever since then, I've really been enjoying it...especially your Tori Tuesdays. I show it to all my friends and we like your updates. Something happened recently where I stay and I just knew I have to tell the story. The other day, a girl that lives in my next compound, Mirabell, caught her fiance having sex with her own brother. What had actually happened was that the boy, her brother, had been living with the both of them because he didn't have a job. I'm sure any sister would have done the same thing. I can't believe her own brother would do such a thing...with her soon to be husband! God Forbid!! She just went to market and came back a bit late only to see her brother and fiance in the same bed having sex. I did not even know such a thing was allowed in Nigeria. Real Sodom and Gomorrah ohhh!! The woman doesn't know what to do because the both of them have been dating for about 2 years now and she will be turning 30 this year. Also, her brother still doesn't have a job and has nowhere to stay. Abeg, Naija Watcher, tell me what I should do about this! Also, if you're reading, leave a comment. Tell me what to tell her because I don't want to come and do busy body that will get me into trouble. Thank You. Ha!!! Interesting!!! Well, what I would say is that it is better to get married to the RIGHT person even if it is at 40 rather than someone you don't love because you are 30 years old. It's a very complicated situation because this is her BROTHER we are talking about. What kind of brother would do such a thing to his own sister! Ha!! This world is becoming something else. My advice is that she leaves now while she still can before things get any worse. Naija Watchers, if you have anything to say about the matter...leave it in the comments below. This is a very interesting matter. I want to hear what you have to say. |

jejemanito:Misery -a state or feeling of great physical or mental distress or discomfort. |
Well according to Misery Index of 2015 by 'bloomberg data', below are countries whose economies are the most painful to live and work in. "Misery will be most acute this year in Venezuela, Argentina, South Africa, Ukraine and Greece – the five most painful economies in which to live and work, according to Bloomberg's 'misery index' for 2015. Rising unemployment coupled with high inflation will hit these countries hardest, the financial services firm said." The grimmest economies in 2015 1. Venezuela 2. Argentina 3. South Africa 4. Ukraine 5. Greece 6. Spain 7. Russia 8. Croatia 9. Turkey 10. Portugal 11. Italy 12. Colombia 13. Brazil 14. Slovakia 15. how thoughtful |
Well I dare say the recent rise in depression is cause we have disconnected in the real world and we are now connecting online which can only lead to one having little or no physical contact with friends. |

sauceny:@evea Yes people will/may lose when trying to bring about change look at Martin Luther King, look at Nelson Mandela what would have happened if they had stopped. Yes this young person is brave enough to develop/invent something but that does not mean we encourage the person to go outside the country how are we to develop our economy if we continue to push our very smart ones out of the country? How are we going to develop? did USA or the Uk get to were they are today in a day, month, year or a decade? No what they have is decades of democracy and one or two civil wars while growing as a nation. We are only over a decade in our democracy so dont expect things to be rosy. It will take years before we can get to that dream Nation we have in our minds and no one Administration can do it in 8 years but we can do it, step by step starting with everyone of us. “Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.” ― Leo Tolstoy “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” ― Margaret Mead “The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.” ― Albert Einstein “Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” ― Barack Obama “And that is how change happens. One gesture. One person. One moment at a time.” ― Libba Bray |
sauceny:sorry to say it is this same attitude of not thinking outside the box that will not allow us grow as a nation. We the youth have a hand also in taking our country to greater heights than sit around and blame anyone or group of persons. |
I wonder what politics has to do with running a university... all this line about Government not providing power, government not doing this in the country what have we done for our country? I mean it is so easy to blame the Government for everything. The same story keeps being repeated every time you give a Nigerian an opportunity to speak. What I keep hearing 90 % of the time is Government is not doing this and that. Question is Who makes up the government? Are we not part of the government? They people running those positions are they not our brothers or sisters? The one that ticks me the most is when people blame the President for everything when he is equally a human being just like we all are.He cant obviously be everywhere I hope we know that. Some of us cant even run our homes talk more of running a local government or a whole nation. Now those running businesses in Nigeria to be successful all you have to do is study the Nigerian economic environment,do research before starting up their companies. You do not just wake up and put up a business Nigeria. Though i may not know the full story of the above situation. I would think that those who setup the school should have known they may likely not have constant power or water supply from the respective power or water supply companies in Nigeria and take adequate steps to handle it. Agreed the cost of doing business in Nigeria is high but then again adequate research is paramount before delving into any form of business or venture. Lets try to be Proactive and not reactive and stop all this its PDP's fault or its APC's fault. |
justwise:Bro maybe you misunderstood me the regional office is not an agent/agency they are like a branch office of the school in London and also handle admission in Africa and the Middle East. I never said he could not get admission by applying to the school directly. |
justwise:@ spikesC If he intends doing a Postgraduate Course he can get the International Merit Award which is £2000 and get better attention as regards Visa support etc if he applied through the regional office than if he applied directly to the school. Not that he cant get all this if he applies directly to the school but the regional office will give him a much better service/attention. I am saying this from experience. |
troubled:what course did you intend to do at middlesex, is it an undergraduate course? you might have to make your application through the regional office at Dubai. |
qualified:I tire o very same people that asked Tunde Bakare to commit perjury shouting change lols smh some people they cant seem to decipher that party is made up of people who want to cause more problems for the country. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9h6LFtobWU |

The link in this post shows how a fake pastor plays on the intelligence of members of his fake church by using potassium permanganate to turn water red thus creating an impression of blood in water. Turning water red with the help of this chemical compound while washing any part of the members of his fake church, helps him to lay claims to curing the person of HIV. For one I am really disgusted at how low some people will go so as to deceive others while calling on the name of God. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10152720222310777
