Firefire: Goodbye to democracy in Nigeria!
I foresee an impeding anarchy, civil disobedience and bloodletting in future elections in Nigeria; what Buhary did in 2011 will be a child play.
Good luck to Nigeria and Nigerians; some brainwashed elements among you asked for the CHAIN-JI. Nothing will happen, bro. was it only in Rivers state election was conducted this year. why does it look so troublesome that when Rivers is mentioned blood must flow with it. perhaps, am not surprised to note that the legislative arms of the state are all cultist. shame on Rivers government |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Is The NPF Recruitment A Real Sign Of Nigeria Truly Changing? by guiddoti: 10:09am On Dec 08, 2016 |
Boldstar: Yesternight, I decided to check the nairaland FP topics as usual before I go to bed. I saw the topic that says NPF recruitment list is out. Relunctantly, with the mind that the exercise was a sham like the other gov't recruitment exercises this year, I clicked on the link to check the list. Voila, I saw my name gbagada . I thought I was dreaming because I knew no one nor did I give my details to anyone.
I immediately checked the name of my friend who knew a former IG and the personal aide to a present AIG. Alas, his name was not there . Everyone who knew him already thought he'd be selected because of the way the police treated him well at the screening exercise. He was intelligent and he 'knew people'. But he wasn't selected.
This morning I also heard many other people giving testimony that they knew no one but got selected. The report was that the selection was strictly through merit. If it continues this way, the best people for the job will be chosen and the result can only be progress.
This led to my question. My people, na true say we country don dey change for good? Now you have the Barton in your hand, try make the change more transparent when you fully resume your beat. No corrupt the system when you get in, but change the system for good because I hate police for no reason. Until I see the professionalism of the police giving good service, I will remain indifferent. |

b3llo: Hello and Good morning, Yesterday (2 December) in the morning around 11am, I had a dream about my Dad who died on November 5th after battling with illness. In the dream he was standing with his orderly and some familiar faces (but I can't recall who they are) and he was telling me what to do but I didn't understand what he was saying then people around me chorused it loud but I couldn't still understand but confused. I woke up confused and sweating. Please can someone tell me what the dream mean. Thank you.
Cc: guiddoti The dream is not good; that you could not understand him and woke up sweating show you are under influence of familiar spirit of confusion. In a state of confusion, people hardly hear or get concentrate. I would advise you free your mind, and make your spirit, soul and body be at peace, stop worrying over his death. My condolences |

LynnPetra:

Pdp and Apc same recycled theives. There's nothing in Nigeria that can overwhelm me again. Nigeria is a country of hungry people. They give so much importance to what goes into their mouths than what comes out of their brains. We are like zombies, living but dead! It's a hopeless situation.
During my MPA days, I boarded a bus from ilorin to ogbomoso. In the vehicle , next to me was a man in his mid-thirties I guess, holding a plate covered with black nylon. His colleague also was holding his. I just dey wonder, wetin this people carry for plate?Oh my God, I realized after I perceived the smell to be a plate of awedu and stew with two meat (as the car jerked he tried to cover it well) so you mean this men carry stew from ilorin to ogbomoso ? For plastic flat plate. They are well dressed. I was flabbergasted!!! It is not real! I don't believe it!
And then the unexpected happened. The guy turned to me and spoke in this very fluent queens English. I was taken aback. He must be a PhD holder I reasoned . But why? What have we done to deserve this in Nigeria?
I have decide never to vote for Pdp or Apc. They are same old theives. How long must my people continue to think with their mouth rather than with their heads. I will vote for a lesser party, those ones that have not stolen for mega rallies. I don't know for you people o,but I do not want my children to hold a plate of food from ilorin to ogbomoso. What then happened to the plate of food? did the plate of food pour on you? haven't you carry bag of rice or beans to school before? Am just concerned to ask these questions because you don't know what inspired this carrying of plate of food. |
