A friend of mine who was living with his family in Germany was in your similar situation few years ago. They have permanent residence (PR) in Germany back then.

Do you guys have PR? If the answer is no, this is beyond me. I think you will need to prove to VO about your home ties to Nigeria( country of citizenship since you are a temporary residents over there.

Any other suggestions are welcome by elders in da house.

Hello guys,
A Graduate school in US gave me application fee waiver because I told them that I am not financially bouyant to apply.

Recently, the graduate school said they had transferred my file to the department for admission recommendations. Anyway, without funding, i am not going to accept any offer from them.

My first question:
At what point can i request for I-20 for F2 applicants? Should in case I get funding, are they going to request for bank statement of account before issuing i-20 for F2 applicants.

2nd question,
if i send them bank statement with my name on it, is it not going to look as if i am being dishonest with my financial situation. I applied to so many places last year without any funding btw. I just didn't want to waste my hard earned money this time.

This is not entirely true if you get a job in tech after studying, and a course like business analytics almost guarantees you a job after school, your organization will file all the necessary documents for you, including your green card.

Most Nigerians do disability work because the hours are flexible and the pay is fair. I'm not sure about driving a tractor because you would still have to convert your nigerian driver's license to aussie and the standard class is class C which restricts you to a certain type of vehicle depending on the weight. So if you bring the normal licence here it will not be equivalent to the one required to drive a tractor. Other skills you can learn is hair braiding or servicing of cars I guess. Just worry about getting to aussie and having some money to 'hold body' for like 4 months.
P.S: beg your dad (or save up) to pay for at least half of the second semester.

Good day all, I'm actually depressed cause I think the choices I've made for the past 1 year are not yielding the results they're meant to which ordinarily is beyond my control.

I'm a 2019 chemical engineering graduate and finished nysc Feb 2021.

I started my admission and visa application to study Msc Engineering Management in Australia during my nysc.

I've spent over $15k for my tution deposit and health insurance, visa granted and I was supposed to resume my Msc Feb 2021(few days after nysc) pop.

I planned everything this way so I won't be in this kind of situation I find myself presently.

Australia boarder has been closed for more than a year now, so I had to defer my admission to July intake but with all the news and happenings in Australia, that country is so indecisive and not looking to open her boarders any time.

Her health minister and ScottMo has been forecasting Feb 2022 is the best time to open Australia boarder and honestly, everything is just pissing me off about that country at the moment.

Please I'll like the Elder's in the house @fairheart and others to guide me.

I want to know if I can get full/partial funding to study Msc Engineering Management or Business Analytics in any USA university. I have a flair for professional business inclined courses and not academic research courses.

If it's possible, I'll like to know the GRE, PTE and any other exam pass mark score I need to get to enable me get the funding with list of universities that might be offering funding for the courses I listed above.

I want to put things in order and apply for my visa for the early next year intake.

Meanwhile, I'll defer my admission for July 2021 to Feb 2022 if the Australia boarder is still closed for international students and as soon as I get funding in any Usa university, I'll request for my tution fee back from my Australia uni though my Indian friends have been complaining Australia uni are refusing or delaying to refund.

Also, I'll like to know the best path way for international students to get residency and citizenship in the USA after completing a postgraduate program from your experience and knowledge.

N.b., I'll take time to go through the thread to learn from others.
