Ghana is about 20 million population and out of that only about 15,000 can afford to buy any movies. i wonder how they thought they could flex any muscle with such a small market. They just realised their films are not popular in Africa. Low budget shagfests can only go so far. |

I hope he's right about his cure for diabetes but for tooth ache? ? (is that feasible? ? , Doe it numb the gums forever or is it some kind of pain killer? ? ) he needs to shed a bit more light. (not that i'm a medic but for those that are on NL and are.) more over, im sure there are a lot of good lawyers or even pharmaceutical bodies that will listen to him if he really has a case. (they all want profits and shares and this is a mind-blowing discovery if its true) |
I think its because they concentrate on career development to the exclusion of a love life. By the time they are what they want to be carreer-wise, of course some reasonable time would have passed. Also, from the onset, a man is slightly wary of an overly ambitious female and unfortunately ambition is what makes one successful. Men just prefer a soft, moderately ambitious,easy-going female because that, for some reason projects calmness, sensitivity and care. (not some shrewd boardroom cut-throat Mz of a waspish lady) That doesnt project ,relaxed fun, babies, romance etc. I would rather go for a sexy, curvy and relaxed gurl working on the shop floors of John Lewis or house of frazer than some lady that works till 9pm every day hammering out multi-national mergers in the square mile. That saps femininity out of a woman; she'll get home and cant relax. Let me chase the greens and get the stress while you keep your softness, baby. |
I welcome any strategies that deter offenders including fines. Hitting them in the pocket is most likely to deter offenders especially in nigeria in my opinion. |
Bukittes:THANK YOU. |

OMO IBO:you are not serious. Is your presumption based on looks or money? ? or is it that sarah is such a good girl? ? Abeg. |
some try to be smart and invest so that they can generate income but this is also difficult. as Obiagu pointed out, there is a lot of risks involved in investments and you can lose it all very easily that way if you are clueless about how investments work (many athletes and entertainers go bankrupt this way) also because once they win, they instantly become celebrities. long lost sister's uncle's in-law's cousin will now come knocking at the door. as well as girlfriends and boyfriends of ages past. you kinda have to be extremely shrewd to be rich in many cases. giving your money away to "family and friends" is a very easy way to lose it all. especially if the income is not replenishable.
exactly ! !Most lottery winners here opt for anonymity which is a good idea. i would. |
@poster Well written. unfortunately, nothing gets to our politicians except sickness and death. IBB is mentally ill and will be swallowed by his evil. |

I stopped praying for nigeria a long long time ago. All the prayers being fired by the billions of fellowships nko? That goes to show you the size of the problem. In fact nigeria is a problem to the earth. |
I dont believe that. |
oludashmi:100% There was this Roy carroll who won £9.8m in 2003 or so. now he's on govt support benefit. He was so silly with his money that it was like a lesson to everybody. On the other hand someone else won about £1m and 5yrs later he had over £5m. he went into properties here which is a good investment. he got married ,has a kid now and his gorgeous housewife cruises a 2-door bently. sweet. |
Yorisb:It used to be the students meeting them in a hotel or inn (wey full owerri) This one was real penny wise pounds foolish. |
Mr IBB: Zoning in nigeria may plunge it into problems but you will plunge it into hell. |
One day ppl will burst out crying out of jealousy on this NL. LMAO. |
I have always said it that in that country, there will come a time when banks will steal whole accounts and deny customers. I can clearly see it coming. |

), but truth is our leaders obviously won't listen with ordinary ears except with militant action. I just wish these bombs and whatever can be targeted at strategic areas where it will hit the leaders so bad they won't know what came upon them. Go to House of Assembly where those fools sit to discuss rubbish and bomb their a*s off! I'm definitely in support of that!!!!!!!

we aren't born with cooking pots and spoons on our hands
