Politics › Re: Fg To Site Gun Factory In Abia by hackney(m): 8:38pm On Dec 12, 2009
People are confusing gun factory with police presence.
How can a gun factory make an area safe(r)?

On the other hand , if other regions do have just outfits then the east should too.
(just looking at the bigger picture here)

Business › Re: Do Bankers Really Deserve Their Multi-million Pound Pays? by hackney(m): 6:36pm On Dec 10, 2009
In early 2007, a (one!) banker got £200m bonus in london city (the legendary sq mile).
i've still got the newpaper cut-out.

That's not just 2 much ; it's bizzare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even the highest multi-billion hedge fund investment shld not accrue so much bonus
(even if he rakes in £1Bn profit)

Career › Re: Salary Jobs Are Modern Slavery! by hackney(m): 11:30pm On Dec 09, 2009
Starting a small business with potential for growth is good but putting someone else (even your own brother)
in charge at that crucial initial stage is the biggest mistake anybody can make.

The business 'greats' all abandoned everything else and grafted till their businesses took off.
And such businesses that start from scratch will usually have the strongest foundation and the owners who become rich never have the wealth getting to their head because they've seen it all.

Setting up something and still working else where has never really worked big time.
That initial personal blood and sweat which nobody else will input in some one else's biz is highly rqd.
(That every penny counts and going the extra mile attitude is rqd otherwise sit your arse down)

Salary is not that bad. after all those bankers and politicians are also on salary abi. grin grin grin

I think the kidnappers and the bakassi boys are one and the same.

In Nigeria, giving touts power is a terrible idea because blacks take their selfishness to an
animalistic level.

Tufiakwa.

Anyway sha i dey travel this xmas and once i enter my house for villa i dey safe because i dey pack

Politics › Re: Babatunde Fashola For President by hackney(m): 10:28pm On Dec 03, 2009
The rate with which topics degenerate to bashings goes to show that though we are intelligent as
individuals, we are completely retarded as a team.
This seems to be an issue in africa and especially Nigeria.

As a result , we have 2 worlds:
1st world
3rd world.

As far as this inability to create anything positive as a team or a society is concerned, we will never move forward.

This is one of the MAJOR differences between us and the WHITES.
They could be individually mediocre but as a team they are unstoppable.
The reverse is the case for Nigerians which BEGS many questions.
(i dont want to go into all that again)
Politics › Re: Babatunde Fashola For President by hackney(m): 10:16pm On Dec 03, 2009
@poster
Note that fashola though a good governor will not be able to reflect good work at state level if
he became president.
This is because that will depend on the governor of the state.

People should hope for or work towards having a governor like fashola because no matter how much a president hopes for the states, what is done depends on the governors.

@Poster
It's convinient for you to have as much documents as possible just so that they let you go quicker.
Never mind the website. (After all it did not mention that they like bribe and shoot drivers that have large sums  on their persons).

If you do not have all the docs then it is likely that you will tip them because the hassles and squabbles are not worth it at all.
