Ok! 3D Printing is fully here. And it is being used in home made firearms. There are lots of articles on what 3D printing is, you can find them at the end of this post. But we shall be showing you pictures of the world’s first 3D printed gun – The Liberator – a gun that you can make at the comfort of your home, and has raised (and will continue to raise legal issues in many countries). Courtesy of Forbes magazine, Defense Distributed, the company responsible for producing this beauty, showed to us a little dis-assembly. Enjoy the pictures https://i1.wp.com/echo.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/liberatorFinal.jpg?resize=300%2C200 Unboxing the Liberator Simple, easy to create. In fact its body can be printed overnight. https://i1.wp.com/echo.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/liberator1.jpg?resize=300%2C164 Purely plastic Fifteen out of sixteen parts of the liberator is made of plastic. The 3D printer used to design the Liberator The gun was even printed with a second-hand Stratasys Dimension SST. pictured above. It’s barely the size of a fridge. The only non-plastic part is a common hardware store nail used as the firing pin. DD advises though, that the barrel (white cylinder at the bottom of the picture) be treated with acetone to reduce the bore’s friction. https://i0.wp.com/echo.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/liberator7.jpg?resize=200%2C300 Firing the liberator Cool isn’t it? So, what are your thoughts? Security agencies requested the blueprints posted online by DD be taken off, but hundreds of thousands of copies are already online as we speak. This means that with just a printer, and this blueprint, you can print a gun overnight. Good news, or bad news? Let’s hear your views. Full story here http://echo.com.ng/2013/the-liberator-gun-disassembly/ Abeg I wan order my own Stratasys Dimension SST 3D printer, make I print one small undetectable handgun make I use visit Aso Rock. All those people wey no gree resign or step down must fall down, by fire or by plastic. ![]() |

D.A.V.E:lol How old are you bros? I'm guessing you were either born sometime around the millennium, or you didn't watch Nigerian motion pictures in the 90s, or you're not Nigerian at all |
ifyalways: Please, what could have happened to my windows?I'm guessing it's an unlicensed copy of Windows 7. You should get a licensed copy. Alternatively, you can search google for the exact search query "xpvistaseven site:4shared.com Raj kumar" I take no responsibility for what happens to your PC after using the result of this google search, so I suggest you get a fully licensed copy. A detailed list of shops where you can get an original Windows 7 license is here www.microsoft.com/africa/nigeria/windows/shop/ Regards H |

Watch the video of the Nokia's flagship Windows Phone 8 smartphone. Nokia preloaded the Lumia 925 with the Smart Camera app - it features several modes including burst mode (10 shots at 5MP), Best Shot (picks the best of the burst), Action Shot (Sequence shot on the HTC One, Drama shot on the Galaxy S4) and Motion focus (adds motion blur to static objects, as if you're tracking the moving object with the camera). You can also remove moving objects and pick the best face for each person. The screen is 4.5" in diagonal and has WXGA resolution – that's 768 x 1280. More importantly it's an AMOLED with ClearBlack and Gorilla Glass 2, instead of an LCD. Unsurprisingly, the Qualcomm chipset of the Lumia 925 packs a dual-core Krait processor at 1.5GHz with 1GB of RAM, which is the best that WP8 currently supports. The phone has an aluminum frame around the side, while the back is polycarbonate. The body is just 8.8mm thick and weighs 135g - much more acceptable than the Lumia 920. Inside it is a 2,000mAh battery, same as the Lumia 920 and Lumia 928. The battery is non-removable and there's no wireless charging out of the box - you can enable that with a thin charging cover. The Nokia Lumia 925 will be available in Europe and China this June for €470 ($610) and should come to the US later on. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iCu9JrWhww Tech Specs Networks: GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900, WCDMA, 2100, 1900, 850, 900, LTE 2100, 1800, 2600, 900, 800 Memory: 1GB RAM, 16 GB user memory Display: 4.5-inch AMOLED WXGA (1280×768) Processor: 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon Camera: PureView 8.7-megapixel with OIS, Autofocus, dual LED flash. 2nd camera: HD 1.2MP wide angle Size: 129 x 70.6 x 8.5* mm (*volumetric). command prompt is, to me, the most powerful interface you could use to interact with your computer. Same command line interface is used in linux to execute scripts, and you can run any windows application through the command line. Some commands that run on the GUI (graphical user interface, the thing you use your mouse to control on the screen) even have more parameters if run on command prompt. To know more (about windows command prompt and shell programming), I suggest you do a little study about Windows PowerShell. Google can help you (if you know how to query it) Regards. H |
souljaboi51: I deleted all my contacts, deleted and installed bbm and added the contats one by one. StressfulChoi! What of if you didn't delete the contacts, and just reinstalled BBM... I see you've done that already... Or you could reload your service books. BBM has a service book in your service books list... Or is there a way you can do a secure delete (or restore) of just blackberry messenger? I'm not a BB user anymore though, maybe others with same issue can try that Just suggestions you (or others) could try out |
The difference between both of us is just one word - FAITH. You have faith in nothing, I have faith in something; my opinion though, please no offence intended. The wind blows, we only feel it; the spirit moves, we feel it. There is the physical, there's the spiritual... If you believe in the existence of an unknown realm of the spirit, then you're well on your way to the faith I speak of. I've not answered your question because you're trying to quantify the spiritual with the physical. They are totally different realms brother/sister |
I believe in the afterlife, if I should answer that... And Heaven, or Hell is the afterlife |
@SuperAdmin Seun, so far, the rules are necessary, but I must comment on a few... Looks like number 17 has been out-rightly removed. I would have preferred it were modified though, to suit all religions. That's by-the-way. Rule 14, IMO, is the most violated rule on NL, I wonder how this can be enforced... and finally, the last clause of Rule 19, I love it ![]() Regards, H |
According to a survey, it has been revealed that the average phone user looks at their device a total of 150 times per day. 150 times per day?!!! In 2010, Finnish handset manufacturer Nokia found 150 to be the number of times the average individual views their phone on a daily basis, which includes both smartphones and feature phones. What the heck are you looking at all day on your phone? http://echo.com.ng/2013/what-the-heck-are-you-looking-at-your-phone-for/ |
The start button will be returned. The new WIndows 8.1 is codenamed "Blue" and will have the start button in "Desktop" mode only. (Of course you don't expect to see start on your tiles, do you?). http://www.theverge.com/2013/5/7/4308954/windows-8-1-blue-update-june |
Debeloved87: hello where can i get the full story of this revelation...its not on the link pasted. Here's the updated link. http://echo.com.ng/2013/eternity-another-warning-1/ The story is in parts, so you need to follow the check the blog once in a while for updates. |
ogugua88: Jesus Christ of Nazareth. And why call Jesus for just a grammatical error? People like you only criticize and never correct. |
Woman, your husband is dead. Let's not dwell on what-ifs and get a fix for the present |
BraideBraide: Good news!!! Through fervent prayers, my Almighty God and my overflowing tears....I now have a new project supervisor..Thank GodHe listened to your cries? Thank God for you. I'd have preferred he learnt a lesson though, because he'll try same thing with someone else |
https://i2.wp.com/hackadaycom.files./2013/04/screwdriver-key.jpg?resize=580%2C435 Is this car stolen, or do I own it? The picture above is not a picture design stunt. It is real. Hackaday and Reditt user Hahabird performed a sweet car hack that makes your car look like you stole it! Ok that sounds like weirdo, but yeah it’s real. culled from ECHO Solutions blog http://echo.com.ng/2013/car-hack-stolen-or-mine/ |
J.N:I totally agree with you on these two observations. |
Royalty1: Nice concept. Am sure this would sell greatly in Nigeria.According to Nokia, this phone is now in Nigeria http://echo.com.ng/2013/nokia-105-phone-longest-battery-life/ i'm yet to confirm this claim by Nokia though |
luluosas: OP, I received a shocker today in church. I belong to the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG. Our Sunday school topic since last week was SEXUAL SEDUCTION & CHRISTIAN DRESSINGmy brother, I was in the same study o, another parish. But i'm shocked by your teacher's answer. my conclusion, church is fast becoming a waste of time. No place better than the presence of God in itself. How we can achieve his presence (through fellowship with the brethren), I have no idea. |
nep2ra: Question: Who goes to hell?If you believe the words in the bible, read Psalm 9:17. If you don't, then pray. |
efe22: By the way this teaching of hell has just gone from 100% to 120% in my church...no reduction since the inception of the ministry and the main reason why new members don't stay long there. Truth cannot be buried and if you do, it will resurrect again.Abeg what's the name of your church, I dey come there sharply |
i blame the media... The devil is winning, and that's the depressing part |
Omo_Tier1: In your mind, you really think Jesus when He appears, a human flesh will be something to reckon with in His presence? Let me say this: No man or woman will go to Hell because of what He or She wears. Rather, any man who has refused to accept Jesus as His Lord and Saviour, such will be cast aside into the abyss.True, no man can stand before God in flesh, for it shall be expelled on the last day. Accepting Jesus is just a step to the kingdom. If after accepting Jesus, you continue to do what is wrong in his sight, it is rewriting your name among the heathen. Omo_Tier1: Let me say this: No man or woman will go to Hell because of what He or She wears. God sees and works with the inside. Clearly Jesus said: It is not worth enters a man that corrupts Him but what comes out of Him - Think what this really means.Look at two oranges. One green and the other yellow. Which one looks ripe? What comes from within always defines the outside. What is displayed on the outside is a reflection of the mindset of a believer. Omo_Tier1: Let me say this: No man or woman will go to Hell because of what He or She wears. God sees and works with the inside. Please don't allow yourself to be carried away by this belief. Jesus himself said and I quote "But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea." If your actions or looks will make someone else fall away, his blood is on your head. Hell is real, and you don't want to end up there. |
So, IS HELL REAL? I've not been there, but yes I believe there is Hell. I believe the bible in its totality, and I do my best to live by it. I am not moved or shaken by the philosophical views of mankind on this issue. If you go to a church that the pastor always preaches about prosperity (something that i'm sure will end with death), I suggest you change church, it doesn't matter how long you have been there. He's not interested in your well-being I'm on a search for the right place myself, but i've found out, that there's no right place, except in quiet time with God. The times are such that if you try to argue with someone what you believe in, you may lose your faith yourself. So just stick to what you believe in, preach the gospel to as many as want to hear Let the Holy Spirit do his job of conversion Hell is real, and so is Heaven |
he should go learn at the feet of Obama and stop talking crap that he doesn't have the capacity to do. Or better still, he should just resign and hand over power to someone that will not bark like a toothless bulldog. The Nigerian government is weak! |
treach: Wats wit porting, just get all d network. If u port u go regret after wards. Naija pple be wise...Egypt ports (since 2008), South Africa ports (since 2006), even Ghana ports (since 2011)... Look at these countries... In Adittion, IMHO, If there was porting, we wouldn't need to buy so many phones in the first place, and these dual sim cards low grade phones would not have made a fortune in the Nigerian market http://echo.com.ng/poll-where-will-you-port/ |
Now porting is, to me, a solution and alternative, to my hatred for dual sim low grade phones. For those that use them, I hail una... BTW, join my poll to cast your vote on which network you wish to port to. Thanks for voting. http://echo.com.ng/poll-where-will-you-port/ |
