Do you think the dollar is given to the banks and bdc for free by CBN? Nigeria earn majorly in dollars and it needs naira to pay for local services like salaries hence the need to change the earned dollars, thereby also at the same time stimulating the fx market by supplying dollars.

We mostly use imported goods that is bought in dollars that is why the demand is still high despite injection, but if we can make our refineries work and also dangote refineries coming on board couple with mass farming of rice and wheat I bet the dollar will seriously crash as petrol, rice and wheat eats about 70% of dollar in Nigeria

the constitution did not say those that voted for you but signatures of 50+1% of registered voters, not even those with pvc including those who don't, and the signatures will be verified to be sure they are real. So recalling him is like an elephant passing through an ant hole

The way recall is designed by the constitution, it is not easily feasible to recall an elected person, you need 50+1% of registered voters in each unit to initiate recall, when in reality you cannot even get 50% turnout during elections, thereafter all the signatures must be verified to be sure they are the real people. yes there use to be a way which is by nominating or agreeing with executives on the contractor to handle the constituency project which they inturn corner the money in collaboration with contractor, to me that is corruption and collusion with the executives to cheat the constituency which should not be encouraged, senators make money yes but nothing mandates them to carry out project, they mostly do that out of philanthropy or politics so that they can be reelected

A senators, house of reps member or a state assembly members performance should be measured by his activity on the floor not distribution of sewing machine, okada or wheelbarrow

I don't know if you know that legislators don't have any allocation, that is the duty of executives, the performance of any legislature is measured by his activities on the floor through motions, bills and oversight functions and Dino cannot be said to lack any of this

As long as we sell oil at above $40 per barrel this CBN policy is sustainable and for those saying CBN is wasting dollar they should know that Nigeria earns in dollars while salaries and others are paid in naira as such they need to sell the earn dollars to get naira for government, furthermore despite the regular injection our reserves too has increased.

Personally I believe the equilibrium price of dollars should be N250 in order to also encourage exporters while making life less harsh for the populace that depend on imported goods thereby reducing inflation
