My fervent wish for those leaving Nigeria and hurling back insults at the country and people is that they never return to Nigeria. I wish they will discard their Nigerian passports and never mention Nigeria again. The work of Nigerians interested in building Nigeria will be much easier without having to deal with the consequences of the constant negative harping of such individuals. Since Nigeria is such a nightmare for them, they should seek therapy and forget Nigeria; after all, Canada has heavenly health services, including psychiatry. Be a Canadian and concentrate on Canadian issues. No nation is perfect including Canada and since cussing helps solve issues, according to some, I’m sure there are negative things about Canada for which insulting Canada daily will bring about and even better Canada.

Building Nigeria starts from the restructuring of individual/personal resources.... this is what leads to external development you see around you.

What do you expect to see in a country where the government neither has plans for the future nor interested in its immense development? Blame chronic corruption. An average politician or influential boss is selfishly corrupt in this country. Second twitter responder is wrong. Choosing to remain in Nigeria isn’t dependant on affluence. I have personal experience of this. We've brought over to the Uk several distant relations that live poorly (as poor as majority that live poorly in Nigeria) and they have not liked Britain at all. They all returned. One of them had the option of marrying someone in order to remain in Uk, she too declined and returned to Nigeria. Reading articles by Nigerians complaining of Nigeria and calling Nigeria hell and giving the impression that abroad is heaven, I sometimes wonder if I’m the only Nigerian whose relatives are totally uninterested in Abroad.

That's your own personal case,.... and the lady is still very wrong.
