The 21st century woman lost the way a while back. She is nothing without her cell phone (for selfies and tweeting), her make up kits, her brazillian hair, her push up padded bras, waist trainers, her daily bottle of coke etc.
These things have gradually taken away her self esteem and confidence and these are the reasons she is weak minded.

Thank God we still have some ladies around albiet few, who are still strong, confident, purposeful. They have no time for petty things and can face a crowd of 20,000 without a single make up on if they have to. And they are world class in their career.

i assure u that I understand exactly what u are going through. I am even sure u don't eat as much as I do, yet I'm not fat. this night alone, I've eaten 2 galas, #70 bread, #70 akara, digestive biscuit. nd I'm cooking rice to eat again cos I'm watching a film and I don't plan to sleep till 2am. this is how I eat on a normal day, if I haven't snacked on a biscuit or soft drink, I don't feel full. 1. when I have dis crazy compulsion to eat junks, I eat it well 2 my satisfaction then I go to the toilet to induce vomit. after vomiting the junks, I then eat normal foods like rice, beans etc. it is not a very healthy thing to do but desperate times they say call for desperate measures. After eating all what I've listed above, I've induced vomit, then I'll eat rice nd go to bed.
2. somedays I just decide not to eat at all, especially days I'm very busy and I completely forget about food. if u don't eat for a whole day, d next day u'll feel very light and weak and u start losing weight. u can then eat fruits.
with this methods I've managed not to get fat, nd I still eat alot of junks. A LOT. My friends wonder how I do it

Bad advice, it seems u're suffering from bullimia nervosa urself. Pls, try and stop that b4 it becomes part and parcel of u. Try and eat healthy or better still exercise to get rid of excess fat.
OP, it cld be psychological, some pple eat alot as a means of escape or finding peace when depressed so, the solution lies with u, if it's psychological, try and find another outlet apart from over-eating, it cold be just taking a stroll and try and surround urself with healthy food, don't starve urself but eat healthy in the right proportion. And u myt want to see a fitness instructor, d importance of exercise can't be over- emphasized.
From what u've said, what u need the most is self-discipline and determination. U av a goal to eat healthy, u didn't gain the wgt in a day so don't be disappointed if u don't lose it in a day, u av to work towards it. Fasting can also help but don't overdo it so u don't invite peptic ulcer

I actually av nothing against that part, I even enjoyed it. A similar situation happened to a cousin of mine of recent, thank God she was wise enof to inform my mom who inturn informed her parents, and the guy's parents were contacted and a consensus was reached. They got married last mth, although they are both still in Uni but the parents were ready to support them till the guy is ready.

On the first point, you are right but you failed to look a the issue itself. The issue is that men justify their cheating. For them it is okay, they know they are going to get a free pass. They know people like you would caution the woman to take it easy and if she left her house because of that, you will call her names. Why can't she tolerate things for the sake of the greater good that is marriage(she is too petty, isn't she). And the circle keeps rotating. Many men are hypocrites and our Society at large. Men will boldly find excuses for cheating, claiming it's in their nature. There is no respect for the wife or marriage. To be sincere this bleaching thing is now very widespread. I met 3 ladies who I grew up with few weeks ago and I cld barely recognise them. It's so bad even secondary sch students now bleach too, and some crazy mothers even bleach their young children, I saw a little girl the other day, I felt like slapping the mother. The girl's skin was already getting discoloured with bleaching. The black skin is slowly going extinct, I wldn't know what to call it, it cld be due to esteem issues, and societal influence. The light skin is naturally catchy and attractive, they are able to stand out anytime, although there are 'ugly' light pple, but even when I see this pple, I still feel the light skin is a favor for them, cos they probably wld even look worse with a dark skin.
People can claim it's a choice to bleach, but know that, that choice might come to bite you in the ass as u age, so think well b4 u leap.
Men are a causal agents too though, cos deep down the highest reasons most ladies bleach is to attract men, they might claim they chose to, or it's their body. Most men are attracted to light- skinned ladies, I dn't know if it's a conditioned thing though.
All these said, Black is beautiful. Be proud of ur colour, and don't change it thereby endangering urself, to please anybody. If he can't love u with ur dark skin, he shld look somewhere else.

I've dated my husband for 5years but only traditionally married for 5 months. For most of our relationship we have had financial difficulty but always manage to keep our head above water.

I'm starting to think this man doesn't really love me because when i was terribly sick before finding out about my low iron and diabetes i couldnt get out of bed but he never checked on me instead he would spend all evening and night out with friends and all day sleeping, watching tv and looking for quick money.

I decided to return to my parents and have been here for 2+ months. I am properly looked after and it's only 20minutes away, my so called husband never calls to check on me, he has only initiated phone calls twice and he's asked me for money both times for one thing or another. He has never called my parents to greet them or thank them, it's like he abandoned his responsibility, he openly tells me not to come back because he can't cope with my illnesses.

He's very dissmissive and uncaring but he is also like that with his own family. He never calls them. They're always begging him to call them or i beg him to at least call his mum. I always blame his upbringing because he grew up very entitled with everything handed to him, he doesnt know the value of hard work.

Now we're in a major financial crises because he decided to leave his job. We can't pay the house rent and i have no way of bailing us out because i haven't been active at work due to sickness. I have been looking for a way out but he can't even hold a conversation with me about it. The minute i say something about our current finances, he starts threatening me to switch off the phone and raises his voice (i equally raise mine I'm not innocent because I've had enough) I'm so fed up of him and even the marriage. I don't see how he can ever grow up and i feel like im dragging a dead horse.

Whenever there's crises he becomes very mean and he can't cope, I'm always the strong one and have to find money just so he can be nice to me, which sounds pathetic.

Someone that cldn't be bothered abt a wife and an unborn child for weeks, I bet u if u die this minute 'God forbid', his only regret wld probably be losing a source of money. Wise up, life is too short to live in depression over a guy. I won't advice u to continue with the marriage if there is no joy in it.
As a nursing student, u shld know many women end up in psychiatric homes cos of issues like this, I wldn't want u to end up that way. A life in depression is not worth looking forward to.
Concentrate on taking care of urself and baby, pray to God for guidance& don't entertain his trying to control and spend ur money on frivolities again. I wld av told u to consult wt his family, but it seems there is little way there. All the best.

I did and still do all these, except jeans washing, cos I dn't wear jeans, my dad neither. Carrying of heavy bags, packing sand and filling potholes in front of our house etc
But I still use style to enjoy more than my immediate younger sis though, cos she has a bigger frame, she is sometimes pushed to do the harder jobs
