dayokanu:
Man utd does not lose with Rooney on the field was a favourite jackal quote
The statement was in relation to Ronaldo Vs Rooney schitzo.
United lost to Arsenal at the Emirates in Jan 2007 with Rooney on the pitch.
United lost to Pompey in the FA cup at OT with Rooney on the pitch.
All these statements were even based on events of last season in the league so how does that affect your intelligence quotient.

Man Utd cannot play with Brown, Hargreaves, Carrick, Vidic and Scholes. . . .That was the most moronic statement i have ever read.
That statement was by you.
Mr European footie who knows ZILCH.

This actually confirms it.

Michael Owen was Ballon D'Or in 2001 and Figo was player of the year in 2001.

Okay Modify it again
Did i mention Ballon D'or in ma comment?
Can u not differentiate or read properly?
If u marry a plonker like u, u would produce nincompoops. grin

People can now judge Who is the fool. Zidane European player of the year in 2001? Why not Pele or Enzo Francescoli?

For your educations sake,

Zidane only won European player of the year in 1998 or maybe you gave him others. Bloddy asswipe!!!!

U have never heard of Onze d'Or?

No one is saying manure cannot win the league or that Arsenal will win it.
But ,we are enjoying this moment, even SAF came out to lament the atrocious defending.
Like u said, a [i]bad day at the office,[/i]but it was funny and worth poking fun at grin
Benitez wasn't ready. . . . . .We helped em win.
2 avoidable errors(Van Der Sar's flapping and Giggsy trying to guide the ball on the by-line like a defender).
9 out of 10 times, those stuffs won't happen but u need a bit of luck to win games like this.
Fair play to Man Utd going to Anfield and starting 3 strikers. . . . .We are always expected to win every game we play.
Thatz why we are the champions and y'all don't lose.

@ Dayokanu,

You are just an IDIOT.

Messi is selfish - Maradona
by Laurent Picard, 11 September 2008

Argentina icon Diego Maradona has accused Lionel Messi of being a selfish player.

The magic winger has been attacked for the first time and 'El Pibe de Oro' himself is the author of the criticism.

Maradona claims Messi should be a team player instead of a selfish one in order to help Argentina shine in the future.

“Sometimes Messi plays for Messi,” Maradona told Fox Sport.

“He forgets his team-mates. It’s the Messi Football Club.

“He’d score more if he linked more with [Sergio] Aguero and [Juan Roman] Riquelme.

“I wish [Messi] was better than me because it’d be good for Argentinian people.

Which Zidane? The one on playstation orwhich one? 2002? Zidane player of the year? ARe you on drugs? Confirmd you don't know jack about Euro footie so don't embarrass further.

You obviously did not watch the World cup 2002. Zidane missed 2 matches with injury. But C.Ronaldo played at the Euro's well most games and fumbled didnt make the top 23
Now i can confirm the money spent on your education is a sheer waste.
I said Zidane was the current European player of the year just before the 2002 World Cup.
It means he won Europe's best player award in Dec 2001 which lasted till Dec 2002. . . . .How does this statement imply he won it in 2002??

Wenger has a tradition of starting well and ending horribly.
I expected Arsenal to win their first 10 games and open a huge gap. It has always been like that apart from 06/07 season.
Man Utd are better clawing back lost points than staying on top.
We have a game in hand and just 5 points within league leaders. . . . 35 games to go with Ronaldo ready to BLOW this season.

MU lost y'day - just accept it. Comparing to last season is pointless at this stage - Rooney was injured, there was no Berbazza in the side, Queiroz was there too. Lets see how things pan out.
You said the same thing last season that we shouldn't compare 07/08 to 06/07.
By April 2008, United extinguished all Arsenal's hopes of winning the league title and i was clearly vindicated. tongue
If United could pick a miserable 2 points out of 9 available last season and STILL WIN THE LEAGUE. . . .There's nuthing to say they won't WIN now.

Our EYES are fixed on what happens on week 38 of the Premiership. . . . .not a 4-0 victory over Blackburn or 3-0 against Newcastle.
Whats the point of winning all your games now and dropping points when it matters most in the final lap of the season?

RomanceRe: Public Display Of Affection ( Pda ) by Hannibal: 1:50am On Sep 14, 2008
@ J-girl,

Babying
It's always nice to do things for each other, and generally speaking it can be a sign of a strong and healthy relationship.
Unfortunately, watching two grown people feed each other or groom one another can upset even the strongest of stomachs.
So, aside from gentlemanly behaviors like fetching drinks from the bar or giving up a jacket on a cold night, excessive babying is unacceptable at all times. This goes for talking to one's partner like she's a child, as well as treating her like she can't look after herself.

Love Declarations

Saying those three magical words is a milestone in every relationship, and it's expected that your declaration is private and should be kept between you and your girl.
Breaking out a public “I love you” is unacceptable in just about every situation, save for joyous celebratory events, hospital settings and other highly emotional moments.
Under no circumstances should my buddies ever witness me uttering those words to ma chic, just as i should be the only one within earshot of ma girl when she lets loose on the L word.

Space Invasions

Jay-gal, would u let a guy put his hands in the backpocket of ur jeans just to show he is tied to you??
Isn't that a tad tacky.
Granted, i know u did all that in the hallway of your high school to claim Chibuzor and Hassan but u are no longer a kid.

This time last season, we had only 2 points from 3 games and still went on to clinch the title. Its not going to be an exception this season. Liverpool deserved the win because they played better. The midfield collapsed after their equaliser. The defenders started making silly mistakes. Giggs introduction was a technical blunder. He made no impact apart from that volley which anybody could save.

The season has just begun. This will show our resilience.

Show me a team that will not lose this season and i will show u a team that will win all its matches.
