sweetsell:You are shortsighted. BTW, the Igbos single handedly fought for their independence for three years between 1967-1970, unfortunately the combined might of Russia, Britain and Arab controlled AU ensured that they did not get it. Nigeria today is a failed country. They come first in all the negative social indices. Today, everyone is crying, including your own people. The Niger Deltas oil is used to develop the North, while their land is polluted. They cant talk again because they missed the opportunity to do so. The NC who were the bulk of the fighting men who during the war are now crying blood. They can no longer defend their women and children. Their lands are taken away, renamed and handed over to people from Chad and Niger. They can not talk much because they lost the opportunity to do so. The West also is not finding it funny, their women are raped and murdered on their farms by herdsmen. When they report at the police stations, they tell them to bury the matter so that they will not lose their jobs if they attempt to arrest the perpetrators. I even herdsmen are mounting road blocks on your highways. Your farmers are afraid to go to their farms. People are happy living under this kind of condition. The worst of it, someone is trying to challenge the system to reform or dismember if it is not reformable, they say no, that they prefer the situation like this. The people I pity more are the NC and ND people. They have been used, abused and dumped. It may interest you to know that most of the abandoned federal government properties on the islands are been occupied by some people who look like they are from Chad and Niger, protected by the Nigerian army. Can you in your foolishness not see that these things are wrong? |
stifej:This is were Kanu missed it. Diplomacy is key. I believe he should parley the true Yorubas who know that injustice and inequalities will implode the country. |
tamdun:There is no way you can talk about secession without talking about Ipob. They have successfully created massive awareness amongst the people and also among other tribes. The reps and senators you spoke about wont support it openly. BTW, most are planted by the aggressors. You saw how the Governor of Imo state was brought into power. So, It wont come from them. But know that they are in support of division of the country. I believe, henceforth, we will not have much opposition from you guys based on your comments here. |
tamdun:The West has used the enormous power of her media to demonize the fight for independence. Even, a casual mention of secession generates so much passion from them. BTW, the issue of Nigeria's division is not something that will happen in parliament. It will be like the CAR, they will keep committing genocide on small communities till it gets to a boiling point when the people, even though not armed like the aggressors, will rise up and resist. Other tribes who are fed up with the genocide of these people will join hands with the minority and resist them. You can see Southerners speaking out for the oppressed people of Southern Kaduna, Benue and Jos. The unfortunate thing is that the once proud race that built massive empire that span into Dahomey has now been hijacked by area boys from Bourdillon who put personal interest above the interest of their people. They now think its OK to look away from genocide because its not our people. |
@OP, What I think was the problem at least from 1999 to date, was that the return of democracy and the flow of uncensored information have opened the eyes of the people. As a result, the East want to secede from Nigeria, but they are being resisted by the West. Notice that the most visible anti-secessionists on Nairaland are the Yorubas. The NC has even aligned with the East through PANSIEC. The only problem now is the Yorubas. Unfortunately, like a people who are bent on self-destruction, the Yorubas refused to see the true agenda of the North. You saw how LASG hurriedly banned both Marwa and Okada citing accidents and nuisance as reasons. But the real reason was a credible intelligence on the security threat posed by the influx of Fulanis from all over Africa enabled by the President. I once voiced my support for the East to exit Nigeria at my place of work, guess what, the Yorubas almost lynched me. From then on, they started calling me Ipob even when I am not a member of Ipob. The Yorubas have been the ones shouting the most on issues pertaining to division of Nigeria. But this ought not to be, the Yorubas can survive and have a great country without the East. They are great administrators and forward thinking people. You need to see how they are transforming Lagos with private investments. You saw the way they handled the issue of Amotekun. |
Osagyefo98:Hello Osagyefo. What happened? You normally speak good of the FGN. It appears you have changed lately. What can we do about the dead nation? |
Omo, Mazi is right. This is more than a zoo. Shameless people in the SW dont want the country to be reformed because they are used to living like animals. Someone said reform or allow us to pull out, they attack him. |
Nigeriawarlord:Hi @NigerianWarlord, please we need your help in Southern Kaduna. Fulani militiamen just over ran five villages there. As a patriot, we need you to mobilize men to defend Nigerians in that section of the country. |
DesignHave:It will not open anyone's eyes. Nigeria is doomed. Are there not a section of Southern Nigeria who see no evil in this government? They are the ones even crafting the evil policies of this regime. Soon, the whole place will be like Liberia and Sierra-Leon. |
ihemyoro:The palliative is for the North. |
This man made the biggest mistake in his life. Mazi called Nigeria a zoo, people got angry, Nigeria is more than a zoo. Nigeria is not different from the Serengeti we see on National Geo World. You can be in your car, house or walking on the road like this man, a Tiger (Fulani militiamen, a Force man, an Area-boy, or human induced disaster) will just snuff your life just like that. In the developed world, zoo animals have a better standard of living than most human beings in Nigeria. You will see dogs looking plum and well taking care of while the average Nigerian looks scrawny and malnourished. The other day, Policemen in Europe were feeding stray cats due to COVID-19, while human beings in Nigeria were robbing just so they will have something to eat. Kindly accept my apologies if you find my comparison offensive. All what I posted applies to me as well. I am exposed to the same dangers. |
Now that SR has reported, lets wait and see what the Commander -in-Thief will do. When we say the government is our problem, people who dont know much will say its the Nigerians that are the problem. Government is supposed to punish crimes, but Rtd. Gen Buhari will not. |
They should not touch the money. I dont trust government. |
How much did the image launderers pay the Economist for this? Well, foreign media and their governments are known to aid corruption in Africa and middle East. |
sapientia:Soldiers and police are meant for the South. Do you hear of police brutality in the North? |
These guys are seeking Islamic heaven. The sacked Kano commissioner said Abba Kyari was a Martyr because he died of the Corona virus pandemic. According to the Malam and other Islamic sources, if you are a Muslim and die in a pandemic like Covid-19, you automatically go to Islamic heaven. |
Smhaykins:Realities are not affected by perception. Even if you dont believe, it does not change the fact. |
Anas09:Noted. |
Smhaykins:This was what I posted on another thread. Question from an enquirer to the grand Mufti Abu Abdullah Muhammad Al-Shemary. Q: It has become wide spread these days, and especially during weddings, the habit of mufa’khathat of the children (mufa’khathat literally translated means "placing between the thighs" which means placing the male member between the thighs of a child) . What is the opinion of scholars knowing full well that the prophet, the peace and prayer of Allah be upon him, also practiced the "thighing" of Aisha - the mother of believers - may Allah be please with her. This question was forwarded to the committee on Fatwas by the grand Mufti with reference number 1809 issued on 3/8/1421 (Islamic calendar). (It was here at http://www.islamic-fatwa.net/viewtopic.php?TopicID=8330, but they have deleted it now). The committee gave their opinion thus: Ans: It has not been the practice of the Muslims throughout the centuries to resort to this unlawful practice that has come to our countries from pornographic movies that the kufar (infidels) and enemies of Islam send. As for the prophet, peace and prayer of Allah be upon him, thighing his fiancée Aisha. She was six years of age and he could not have intercourse with her due to her small age. That is why [the prophet] peace and prayer of Allah be upon him placed his [male] member between her thighs and massaged it softly, as the apostle of Allah had control of his [male] member not like other believers. |
Anas09:@Anas, its wisdom. Jesus at some point during his earthly ministry hid himself. At other times, he went to passover in stealth mode, only to suddenly appear in the temple. Wisdom! |
Geeman23:Please share your complete salvation experience, lets let the people know that Jesus is still saving Muslims. |
Smhaykins:I believed dat every prophets were d way, d truth and d lyf to d ppu of der own tym. OK. Just that the prophets never claimed this. so you are free to believe anything. but we don't know if she was a matured lady for dat generation The way we knew Aisha was not matured was that Islamic sources said Mohammed used to place his manhood between Aisha thighs and give himself pleasure because Aisha was not matured enough to take it from a 50 something year old man. The bible also approves raping of war victims in Deuteronomy 20:10-14 n also in numbers.31:7-18. Deuteronomy 20:10-14 talks about dealing with the spoils of war, nothing was said about raping women. Numbers.31:7-18, talks about the death of Moses and for Joshua to take over from him. |
Empiree:Was the wearing of Hijab mentioned in the Quran? What happened to the verse of stoning the Adulterer? Pictures are Haram, where is it in the Quran? Angels dont enter houses that have dogs, where is it in the Quran? The hadiths, sirahs, and Sunnahs are important part of Islam. The Quran admonishes you to believe all the holy books? |
Empiree:You said he is liar, that there was no one by that name in Ajumani Central Mosque. I said he is saying the truth, the mosque elders denied him because he is an apostate of Islam. The man did not even share everything. |
Empiree:I have shared with you on another thread the Hadiths and the Fatwas from four school of thoughts on Islamic jurisprudence. |
Empiree:The mans name is Mohammed Adowa Bello. |
Smhaykins:Jesus said he is the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father (God Almighty) except through him. Its not about accepting Christianity, its about who will intercede for you on the Judgement day? Is it Mohammed who himself said he was but a warner, not sure about his own salvation and lived a life that by the even standard of humans was evil (killed, supported rape, carried out genocide, forced people into Islam, engaged in pedophilia, coveted Zaids wife, broke treatise). In short, he broke all the ten commandments of God. Will such a man enter Al-Jannah not to talk of interceding for Muslims on judgement day? You better think clearly and strategically too. |
Empiree:Biased investigation. I hope you saw how he recites the Quran and quotes scriptures off hand, something you will never attain in fifty years. I am not sure if you have the Quran, not to talk of the Hadiths. You are not even qualified to be called a Muslim. A Muslim who knows his religion will defend it with wise arguments like the young man did, except he was talking to the one who created all things. You only resort to threat and violence because you are a fake Muslim who is deficient in knowledge. |
@Everyone, This incident took place at Ajumani Central Mosque in Oshodi. @AgentNairaland, Saudana said they will trace you. Please keep a low profile, these guys are very dangerous, they have all the money and are backed by world government. You remember that the UN wanted to send that little girl (Rahaf Mohammed) back to Saudi Arabia, if not for the intervention of NGOs. Please play safe, dont insult their prophet, but state facts about him and his religion with references to back you. @OP, you did well by sharing it. Jesus who delivered that young man, will bless you abundantly. |
