No need for all these. I had a discussion with my supervisor in his office and barretta pistol fell from my hips to the floor, he asked when I am bringing chapters 1 to 4 and all those bibliography stuff. He made a point of telling me to bring all at once as he won't want to delay my graduation. The rest is history.
Phones › Re: Whatsapp Users Can Now Change The Font Of Their Messages - See How It Is Done by hardbody: 7:06pm On Jul 21, 2016
Consecratedp:
WhatsApp is finally letting its users add formatting to their texts. WhatsApp users can now use bold, italics and strikethrough in their text messages—and it might just change the way we chat to our friends.

The news comes as WhatsApp also introduced the ability to embed a previous text in your reply, like a Quote-Tweet on Twitter, and forward content to other conversations .
The new updates can be done by:

• Bold: Add an asterisk (*) before and after the specific words or phrases you want to embolden e.g. *hello*

• Italics: Add an underscore (_) before and after your chosen words or phrases
e.g. _hello_

• Strikethrough: Add a tilde (~) before and after the words or phrases you want to strike a line through e.g. ~hello~

Chosen words or phrases will embolden, italicise or strikethrough after it has been sent as long as you have the latest version of WhatsApp running on your Smartphone.

These codes can also be used online via the WhatsApp Web Client, but the formatting will only appear in the app-based version of the chats.

He who kills by the gun shall be killed by the gun.

The bible said they will turn their swords into ploughshares they will learn wars no more.

I follow the bible. This is why even when I got admitted for short term combatant service i reflected and dropped the idea.

If they choose to kill, they should be prepared to die.

Don't ask me what are the options, there are several.

Whoever gave evidence towards prosecution on this matter is wicked. The law just took its cause. They should have cautioned the man and ask him to go.

Now that hunger led him into stealing Maggi, he should just chill and be fed by the federal government for 3 months. When he comes out he can start his life again, after all there is no guarantee he will get any job or even food in those 3 months if he is in a free society.

Meanwhile some people in the western world will steal and wait to be arrested tried and imprisoned so they can feed on state fund.

I doubt you'd have a choice when you're really down and in need of a doctor's help
Naa. I have never had a cause for surgery. That is the only thing a doctor can do for me.

Every other symptom can be googled and the medication and dosage is provided online. I simply go to my trusted pharmacy and buy the drugs. Even if the drugs are not across the counter stuff, i can scribble in those deliberate illegible hieroglyphics that doctors write and it will be treated as doctors prescription. Guess what? I usually get well. I also own a machine that i use in running periodic tests. With a laser in my palms, i run a test and view the outcome on my laptop and thereafter i analyse the result. Clinical jargon are quickly googled.

God bless the founder of this thing called internet which is even why I am able to respond to you from a bar as I chat. cheesy grin

If it's just me, doctors will be out of business. Truth be told, it's all trial and error

Doc....guy how are u feeling

Me.....I feel bloated

Doc....when did you first feel that way

Me.....after my meal today

Doc....what did you eat

Me......rice and salad

Doc.....scribbling

I could type bloated tummy and get all the possible options and guess what, my system rejects something. If it's lactose based for instance, drugs are prescribed.

Anyways....to each his own

Good day Nairalanders,
my day was moving cool and smooth until I came across this scammers in town, they were about 5 guys, carrying laptop, phones, etc.
They will tell u to pick a number with 2k and the lowest amount u can win is 1k which means u can never loose totally, but you can win 3k, 5k 50k, 100k, phones (infinix, tecno) or laptop.
pls guys dont listen to dis scammers, they have already filled the numbers in such a way that if you pick, you will win 1k. automatically, you have lost 1k.
well I fell to the predators, am still wondering why a sharp and Educated guy like me will fall for this cheap trick.
I dont know how it happened, I play the first time and won 3k, I wanted to leave, they started begging and motivating me to play another one that am such a lucky guy, I tried and lost all the 3k plus my initial 1000 naira.
they are still begging me to play another one but I disagreed, one of them brought out his own list and said I should pick for free, I did and I won 12k, mind you, I wasn't given the 12k. He was like, pick and see, you will win big money but I won't give you what you won until you pay 2k for another one. that was when my mind came back from exile and I understood I was in the midst of scammers, I flee immediately.
please if you encounter this guys anywhere, dont even give them a chance to talk to you, If you do, you will be convinced. I have learnt my lesson. 1k wey I dey plan to use subscribe this night. chaiiiiii.

cc. lalasticlala, please others need to know about this scammers. I care for everyone.
Two things

1 . You are educated but not street wise
2. You are greedy.

Outside those two, the guys will go home and think up another business.

Well this is definitely the OP's opinion, cus there is no way lasu and delsu would be better med schools than UNN, which had aspirants of 12k in the 2016 utme, a good teaching hospital and its host of professors, not to mention its teaching hospital is funded and maintained by the FG

BTW, wah dah hell is AAU doing in a top 10 when we've got federal universities with better lecturers and hospitals

Lastly, move OAU to the 10th position(or even out of the list), incessant strike isn't a feature of a good med school

infact, this is a better list;
UI
Unilorin
Unilag
Uniben
UNN
ABU
Lasu
Uniport
Delsu
Uniuyo(or OAU)
I will rather die than allow any medical graduate from any of these schools to use me as an extended practical item. God forbid ekwensu

UniCal na school?
Very brilliant question.

UNICAL is NOT a school, it is a UNIVERSITY with schools and faculties. One of the third generation universities that have continued to quietly build and model leaders. Not living in past glory but churning out some graduates miles better than you. I am hoping you are a graduate and not a product of some rustic school somewhere.

Before you get it mixed up, i hold some other post graduate degrees from other highly rated universities in this country so i can speak from various sides of the divide.

You want to descend into the arena? I am very ready. Let's show the world what skills our various universities instilled in us.

Uniuyo is very notorious for this. Imagine in a whole faculty of Environmental studies comprising of over 6 depts not even a single student has ever graduated with first class since the inception of the school. Some of their lecturers are devil incarnate. I graduated with 3rd class but was far better than 2-1 graduates of other universities during my services year and even where I'm currently working. I almost missed my current job due to my poor result from Uniuyo if not for the pre-employment test they gave us. You study so hard only to get frustrated by wicked lecturers.
What pained me most was my measurement lecturer who tried so many times before he could pass professional exams, but on the contrary I cleared all papers on my first sitting. SHAME ON HIM/THEM FOR GIVING ME THIS INAPPROPRIATE GRADE.
Go back there and lecture and put the devil to shame grin

graduate assistant? Thats impossible if you were not in propinquity with the lecturers.
What did you study?
Student should adopt my approach. Have fun and still come out well. It looked like I was gonna make a 2.2 so i was everywhere and did all sorts. I came to exams from nocturnal activities and all night parties. When the chips were down, i came out with something better.

I recall prof Dengas admonition, aim for a first class, you may end up with a 2.1 but don't forget to enjoy yourself, if you miss the grade dont miss the fun, let the university also pass through you.

Proud malabite for life.

I don't even know what to say. Come see students reading at night class like the world is about end tomorrow and yet see the results they have to show for all their reading.
Were they reading in the wrong direction? Just asking. It's not generally how much you read but the level of assimilation and application of contents in an examination environment.

Romance › Re: See What My Girlfriend Did Because I Failed To Sleep With Her by hardbody: 2:34pm On Jul 18, 2016
henrylowe:
I started dating this girl in 2013 when she was still seeking admission. I was already done with school managing a little business for survival when she got admitted into the university. My plan was to get married to her if things went as planned.

A year after she gained admission,, she started exhibiting some questionable characters which seemed hard to cope with. She started acting like she was too busy for me, she started replying cold tgo my chat, she no longer cared and a few to mention. Well, I wasn't surprised because ladies often turn a new leaf the moment they get into the university and start having various toasters. Though, I could read these were signs of possible break up due to the pressure from various suitors and perhaps, better offers. I tried to rekindle the fire of our love by having a heart to heart talk with her but all my effort seemed to be a waste.

Her strange attitude, which I could no longer cope with, persisted until I told her I needed a break hoping she would beg me and make things right. To my greatest surprise, she said was cool with it if that was what I wanted shocked. We went separate ways for about 7 months after which we reconciled in April, this year. After a lengthy discussion blaming each other for our unseriousness and childishness, I inquired if she was still intact the way I left her and she told me she was. (Though, I would have confirmed that during cuddling but she was on her period that day)

She went home that day and later gave me a call back telling me she needed to see me the next day in order to make a confession. The moment she said it, I already knew she had lost it but I wanted to hear it from her mouth. She came the next day telling me she carelessly lost to a dude whom she wasn't dating it barely a month after we parted ways. shocked. I was so disappointed and sad that, how could someone I dated for one and half year without touching just throw herself to a man whom met just a month after to defile her.

She cried and pleaded for mercy and since forgiveness is from God, I forgave her even though I found it hard to get it off my chest. Now, I can still see some components of infidelity in her despite trying my best not to reminisce on the past. Though, I still love her but not as before and I no longer trust her like I used to do

Nairalander, don't you think it's too risky to continue with a relationship considering the fact that the TRUST is gone already? Please am I wasting my time with this lady or I should let her go just to save myself from worry and nightmare?

Please your advice is highly needed
No. You are not wasting her time, you just wasted 3 minutes of my life that i used in reading this. If i say what i have in mind, they will BAN me till the third coming of Mohammed.

Just swerve first, i am vexing.
