I notice this is an old post but i am just seeing it now and can relate with it because i was in the same predicament recently and i never found a way round it. I had brought this cute puppy and tried to introduce him to my Alsatian. Unknown to me, the Alsatian behaved as if it was perfectly okay because i was there. No sooner had i turned my back than the Alsatian raised the puppy with her fangs, smashed her on the floor and was almost using the forelegs to stomp him. Of course i reacted and beat the alsatian up in anger. I had to keep the puppy indoors for days on end. At last i had to let him go. I sent him back to the person that sold him to me.
The real issue now is, how do i get another dog to live with her. Even an adult dog. She is always fighting every other dog, I dont even know whether she wants to die a virgin, sorry a Nun in dog world |

If this news were to be true, my question will then be, did Uche canvass for votes and did the electorate vote for him? To my mind, election though on party basis, is specifically done for individuals. So if Uche was not voted for at any point in time, how could he then assume governorship of the state ahead of others voted for in the same state.
This judgment reeks of further confusion brewing. They should just leave Okezie to continue and conclude his tenure. It is only appropriate, not that i like the man one bit.
Do they now want to carry out another election process in Abia State?

Jerrypolo: I wanted to travel from Abuja to Delta on Saturday, so I decided to board a commercial vehicle (name withheld). Soon, the bus got filled up and we started the journey. I was so enjoying the journey because the driver was on a very high speed and there was a lot of breeze coming into the vehicle. Fast forward to Lokoja just before river Niger and river Benue, we saw from a far distance that there was hold up(because of environmental sanitation) and our driver tried to stop the vehicle but the brake refused to respond(our vehicle was on a very high speed), there was a petrol tanker just in front of us(I was already saying my last prayer, since the vehicle, refused to stop), everyone in the vehicle started screaming the name of Jesus (beside the four hausa guys at the back of the vehicle) and all of a sudden the vehicle diverted from our Lane into the other Lane and stopped miraculously without brake. Now, if the vehicle had not diverted we would have crashed into the tanker and only God knows, maybe I would have been dead, leaving my family in grief and sorrow, but God saved me. I shared this in crime section because, the careless driver knew the brake was not in good working condition but he decided to use the vehicle because his manager told him that if he doesn't use it, he should just consider himself fired... Is this not the worst crime on Earth??... Well I thank God I didn't die nor did anyone in the vehicle die.. Seriously the brakes were bad from the onset and you guys drove all the way from Abuja to Lokoja? This is not correct my brother. It is possible the brakes were not in a perfect state not such that it could not drive at all. I am not saying it did not happen but that claim of yours that the brakes were bad all through is not entirely correct, it only got worse as the journey progressed. |

olokeded: Acting Inspector General of Police IGP, Ibrahim Idris has ordered the withdrawal of all officers attached to individuals and companies.
IGP Idris gave this order at the passing out parade of squadron commanders Operation Course Os/2016, held at the Police Mobile Force Training College, Forest Camp, Ila Orangun,Osun state.
According to him, the force under him would be decisive in dealing with unauthorised deployment, saying men and officers attached to mobile police force working as personal security guards to individuals and companies must immediately be withdrawn.
The police boss further averred “as commanders of the operational arm of the Force, it is of uttermost importance that you display a high sense of professionalism by ensuring that your personnel are appropriately deployed to authorised persons only.
“On this premise, all personnel deployed to unauthorised beats/individuals should be withdrawn immediately.”
Reiterating his plans for training and retraining of officers and men to guarantee maximum productivity, Idris said efforts are on to reclaim Police Training School, Gworza, Borno state seized by the insurgents.

meforyou1: pls EFCC is neither a military nor a para-military institution. It is pure public service EFCC is actually a breakaway arm of the Police Force. To that extent it is a para-military institution, same way as NSDC (or whatever they call those ones). They all carry guns, at least in a limited capacity and they need endurance training and assessment because their job is also peculiar. They effect arrests, they interview suspects, they help prosecute, and guess what, police does all of these too. It is just like you saying the NFIU or SFU are not aspects of the Police Force because you know little or nothing about them, whereas the regular Police personnel will give his little finger to join those arms. That is where the accused beg them to collect bribes in millions not in N20 notes. I said, accused is begging that they should collect money, not them asking you to bring money, you still never understand? |

Newshelmboss: The new deadly militant group, the Asawana Deadly Force of Niger Delta, ADFND, which on Thursday claimed to have taking over from the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, yesterday slated the date it would bomb some strategic bridges in the country.
The group sets Saturday July 2nd, 2016,as the day it will bomb Bonga Field, Onitsha -Asaba bridge, Third Mainland bridge, and other major bridges across the southern of the country.
A statement by the group, signed by its leader, Commander Olomubini Kakarakokoro, a.k.a No Mercy, “We are bombing Bonga field, Onitsha -Asaba bridge, Third Mainland Bridge, and other major bridges across the southern of the country, on Saturday 2nd July, 2016.”
“This is not a mere threat. The only way out is for the Federal Government to relocate all headquarters of major oil companies to Niger Delta. They are built with our oil money. They must be moved back to the Niger Delta region.”
The group sternly warn the federal government to take its threat serious.

Bekwarra: Before I continue, I want to state categorically that I'm not moved at all by the rants of some folks here who reek of ignorance or whatever you can call it. In fact some accused me of making up the story since it doesn't suit their myopic understanding. To some others I am a Biafran or IPOB, well some mental slavery can never be cured. For the avoidance of doubt, I am not a journalist and I'm not working as one (I only said I used to be a campus journalist), these are just my personal experiences there. To the fools shouting Biafra and reading ethnic meanings into it, you can't be more Yoruba than I am. The first time I was there I was so annoyed with the brazen attitude and the impunity of the Ijaw boys on Yoruba soil. It was so sickening and annoying, so shove your bigotry into the blackest hole in your body and face the topic. You can call up anybody living there or just travel down there to confirm. I'm responsible for what I write not what you understand or believe.
6. The current crisis This cannot be analysed without making reference to the current spate of pipeline bombings in the Niger Delta which has disrupted the flow of refined fuel from the Niger Delta to the NNPC depots through the pipelines. This has invariably affected the businesses of these militants/vandals from Majidun to, Arepo, from Ishawo to Igbo Olomu. Many of these militants in many parts of Lagos and Ogun states are from different parts of the Niger Delta while those involved in the current crises are the Ondo Ijaws. The stop in the flow of oil has pushed the militants into other crimes for survival. For example while I was there earlier this month precisely on the 6th of June, a group of villagers came from Elepete phase 2 to lodge a complaint with one of the oldest people in the village and a community leader (names withheld). I was there discussing Nigerian politics with the man because I saw him as being cerebral and well-informed and the first time I met the man, we bonded so whenever I go to that place, I sit with him in front of his house to learn and analyse. So they came to report to the man that some Ijaw militants came overnight to pack all their chickens away and that as if that wasn't enough, they came during the day (that Sunday) again and shot at some goats. While some people rushed out to see what was happening as the goats scampered for safety, they were threatened with guns pointed at them. The man only told them to exercise patience because he will talk to the CDA (community development association) to fashion a way forward because series of reports to the police have yielded nothing except them being told to go and settle it in-house. Besides the man himself had earlier this year suffered harassment from the militants in which he was manhandled and his car vandalised. In fact, a couple of months back, 2 police officers were killed in Igbo Olomu for venturing close to the creeks with their bodies taken away. One of the police officers was named Wale, very popular and young officer attached to the Owutu police station.
7. The Real Issue Last week Friday, some of the Ijaw militants went to rob at a filling station popularly know as Bravo along Ogijo road and the robbery was successful. Four of them later lodged at a hotel close to transformer junction in Elepete Phase 1. I won't mention the name of the hotel but I once spent a night there. I don't know how some SARS officers got the information but they stormed the hotel and killed the four guys there carrying their corpses with them. This enraged the militants who accused the members of the communities of sabotage and tipping off the policemen. They went on a shooting spree shooting at people sporadically. This prompted some of the landlords to write a petition against them. This actually enraged the boys further and on Thursday night through to the early hours of Friday, they went after landlords killing LOTS of them in Igbo Olomu, Elepete and Oke Muti. Many people have fled the areas for the safety of their lives. The government should as a matter of emergency come to the rescue of the people in those communities before they are wiped away. How do these poor villagers contend with militants fully armed with guns and grenades? Yes they have grenades.
