A certain spambot banned me for no explicable reason other than I challenged the rationality of claiming that 46k makes a man for life. I calmly read through a lot of f00ls living in their paradise but oblivious of the fact that 2m a month is not one huge sum for executive cadre in a decent multinational. I even noticed some porous brains assuming that good job and nice pay is dependent on your knowledge of mathematics only. I cringed at reading some preetyboi suggesting that I don't even have a job and went to dig up my old mails that obviously he did not understand. For the records, when I joined NL I was already coasting on the employment sphere, being a site acquisition manager in the entire country working for GLO. I joined GLO from another bank. Each and every advert I posted was in search of people to work WITH my company. I have never been out of job since graduation. I also read through some rational and food thinking minds who tried so very much to fight my course,as it were. For those who told the lie that whoever earns what I claimed cannot be spending time in NL only exposed their idiocy and ignorance. I am at a level where I give out instructions to junior colleagues and then supervise thier input. I have gone past the stage of handling files and looking for explanations, I query what my subordinates do bring experience to bear..

No apologies whatsoever. I earn upwards of 2m a month, the status car I raised in one of my chats was given me and its a 2013 pajero fully limited version. I changed jobs this January and was given a 2013 Avensis. The few NLers who have met me know. Idont need to brag. I am who I am, haters can go and die.

lebienconnu: ....and the cynosore of this thread is my guy, Hardbody. Give him a round of applause. Guys, e don do. Leave the poor rich guy alone. His 24m naira is not even enough to feed my guy in Aso Rock for a month. The fact is that he is a slave to his needs. He wants houses in London, New York, Tokyo, private jets and yachts. Abi no be so, Hardbody?

the richest president in the world rides a beetle and donates 90% of his salary to charity because he does not have too much needs like Hardbody. So, with over 7.8 milla, if he is not a slave, yes, he has made it.
I did not bother to convert $46k in Nigerian Naira. I still have not. I am rather disappointed at the hue and cry about the sum i mentioned. It is a public forum, my identity remains anonymous, i need not prove anything. However some guy made a very important point, if you were to live in some parts of Lagos, and you are a tenant, how much will you be paying as house rent (or a lease)? You maintain your car(s), take care of relations, and friends, hang out, save up to travel? acquire some basic necessities to keep body and soul together?, I cringe at how people think. Again, i call it perception.

By the way, i am still available in the job market for a higher paying job.

Winding down at about now, i have looked up Nairaland and noticed some 41 mentions with more than three-quarters of those mentions questioning or doubting the veracity of my claim, which undoubtedly i regret making in a public forum (though i remain anonymous). It is really amazing that people imagine that N2m per month is a lot of money that cannot be paid by any employer.

I do not need to prove any point here. let us allow this to slide. I know who i am, i know my qualifications, i know the number of jobs i have held down and i know the employers i talk to and the one i am currently working for. I know what i am bringing to the table, so there is really nothing to prove. For the avoidance of doubt, i know colleagues in my office that earn 70% higher than my figure. Essentially, i still feel shortchanged, but again, let us leave it that way. Maybe it should be stated here that not all NLers are recent graduates, Youth Corpers, etc. There is something called hierarchy in employment, and people grow and mature with time. Sometimes it pays to review someone's posts to enable you form an opinion as to who that person 'might be'. For those that think N24m pa is too much, please re-read that post, i said, N24m plus.....

Last bullet.....

My CEO is netting in close to N60m per annum. Should i lie about another man's salary too...

Na wa oooo. God will help all of us. I am leaving for Ikoyi Club guys, see you all when i have settled in, i can revisit this site on my phone then.

bee444: Prinspal or 2 teacher Waec. . Whatever you call yourself, the guy was right to have used "have" instead of "has".

"have" is a 1st person present singular verb.. While "has" is a 3rd person verb. Both are present tense but one is for now and the future (have) and the other is also for now but not necessarily the future.

When referring to a group of people in the 1st person verb, you use "have".. eg Germany have a team. "Has" is used when referring to a singular person but in the 3Rd person verb eg " she has a fear of spiders"

So in a nutshell, "has" is a 3rd person singular indicative of "have".

I know it's a little bit confusing, I believe with practice you'll get there.

Thank you.
I know not where you are coming from nor where you are headed, however, the sentence, Germany has a team is correct. Germany is taken here as a single entity. THe only way to use 'have' is to say (or write) The Germans have a good team.

Now i know nothing about the 3rd person or 10th person usage. I will surely tell you when i hear or read correct English tense.

NNEKA2015: Germany is Good Brazil too is Good it was just a bad day
What did you watch from? Cooking pot? On a bad day, a team plays and loses respectably, 7-1 is called drubbing. It is a massacre and has nothing to do with being good by the loser but everything to do with the winner. Even Brazil admits that it had an incomplete side those 2 keymen out. So how does an incomplete team translate to a good team?

I am not planning on falling or failing bro, i am on an upward swing. I am done with this banter. Have yourself a wonderful evening. I still maintain however, that $46k does not make a man. My very humble view from a position of knowledge. May i request that you discontinue mentioning this? Thank you for your maturity.

Big4wig: dude he has made it jor..not yet a millionaire buh its something jor

imagine $1 = 170

therefore 46 x 170 = 700&sumtin

oga its more Dan wat people make in a year self
Lol. Ok. on a salary scale of N24m plus per annum, i earn more than that in a month. Does that still make sense to you? I am coming strictly from my perspective and so do not see how N700k amounts to 'making it'. Its less than a couple of guys monthly take home. That is my point, i have not in anyway suggested that N.7m is not good money, especially when won on a bet, but it does not go beyond the short term.

A dead Brazilian squard is better than a living Nigeria first eleven (minus Enyeama)
If you were smart by half you will know that the resilience of Nigeria is such that no team in this world can wallop us 7 goals, never. Even if we were going to lose to Germany, it would have been a 2-1 goal margin.

I was at IITA 2 weeks ago and explored the Lakes and had a walk in the forest. I will be doing Tinapa early August when i host my Company's AGM in Calabar. I did the Cattle ranch before they provided the rail cabs, i plan to find time and re-visit. But uppermost in my mind is the Ikogosi spot. I am planning on going there someday soon. I understand it is a driving distance from lagos. Essentially, i spend my time and vacation around this country. If you ever hear that i traveled out, trust me it must have been sponspored by my comppany for a training programme or something of that sort, never with my money. By the way, i understand that its cheaper to do a few days in the UK than it is to do same numbers of days at Obudu Cattle ranch (assuming no down-town purchases).

I do not blame the pastors, first i blame the society that puts those ladies under such pressure and then the ladies for being that gullible and stupid. who says they must marry? one of my cousins is there and not married yet, we dont insult or make life difficult for her. Anyways, families differ and illiteracy has its part to play.

No woman or even man should be derided for not getting married, it is very pre-historic. People should be allowed to choose their course and if eventually one has to marry, let it be a union that should bring joy, happiness and comfort.

Although i don't quite believe in the post sha. At least not in everything written there
But the Certificate is showing us she left Secondary School at age 8/9years.
Guy think now.
She claimed to be born 1978.
Sorry bro. I did not look at the certificate, i don't intend to. I was just responding to your view that 99% of people finished sometime close to 18/19 years and i am saying this may not be true except to the extent i fall into the 1% exception
Celebrities › Re: Omotola Shows Off Her Secondary School Leaving Certificate by hardbody: 4:28pm On Jul 02, 2014
paris10: Omotola just showed us she's been lying all along about her age. The certificate indicates 1987. Omotola claims she's 35. That means she left secondary school 27 years ago... at what age, 8?

We all know that 99% of all secondary school leavers were between the age of 17 to 19 then ( if your education is fast there is). Let's assume Omotola was 17 in 1987. Doing the math, we say 27 + 17 = 44. There we go.. Omotola is 44 years old. She still look good tho.

note: Maybe the op is wrong about the certificate. If this is her primary school cert, then she's the 35 years she's claiming to be.
I left secondary school at age 15 and that was even late, considering i could have left a year earlier if my pop did not insist i should stay back in a certain class for a repeat year. Everybody did not go to school as elderly adults

Some of u ur brains are so myopic, goshhhh! Locating those girls is as easy as looking for a football in an open field. American Intelligence has already saw everything from way back home. The Intelligence Personnels' coming to Nigeria is for some murky reasons, best known to them. Infact, the least of US Intelligence body knows every nook and crannies of this country than its citizens. Note also that, this problem doesn't concern them in any ways, they just care cos they see themselves as responsible for the peace of the entire planet. UN was of Western making for such.
They could see this much from their base and it took them forever to sniff out Osama. Infact i am not too sure who they claim they killed. How come they did not make some things public. You guys just ascribe powers beyond even what America claims to it.
