bin gbagbo: To be frank and fair, nigeria have done well so far this world cup.
I personally think they have been lucky first of all by drawing argentina, bosnia and iran(weakest group) and enjoying bias officiating against bosnia. I believe Ghana or ivory coast would have done much better in that nigeria group, but hey, that is football for you where luck is key.
Without much ado, i strongly believe nigeria can cause an upset tonight by beating france and get into the quarter-final stage, but shouldnt be necessary happy if they make the quarter final. you wanna know why?

cameroun made the quarters in 1990 and that was the end of them

senegal made the quarters in 2002 and that has been their end

My own Ghana made the quarters in 2010 and witnessed a disgraceful outing this year

I am all out for nigeria tonight, but pray you go pass the quarters, else you are hit by the quarter-final curse. no offense. Thanks

Yours sincerely
bin gbagbo cool
Thanks bro but i will tell you the simple fact that you have omitted. All the countries you mentioned were at the pinnacle of their game. Nigeria is presenting the youngest team in the world cup and if these guys were to stick together in another 4 years, there will be nothing stopping them from lifting the world cup all over again (Note i am assuming its already a done deal - mirage?). These guys with a few of them are just maturing and will be well groomed to take on the world in another 4 years. Take that to the bank

Fool. This has nothing to do with intelligence. You plan to debase and waste a lady's time for upwards of 6 years on the probability that you may or may not marry her. Worse still that probability is only known to you? Haba... There is God in heaven and he punishes wickedness such as yours. I suggest that you do it to no one. If you do, you will be punished. It is not a prayer, it is called Karma.

Lordabas: Brazil 2014 is the first time Africa is having two teams in the second round of the World Cup finals in the same competition.
I believe Nigeria will destroy France in the second round and Algeria will shock Germany as well.
That will set up a historic World Cup fixture in the quarter final…
Nigeria vs Algeria!
Nigeria through to the semi-finals.
I believe.

But we just can't take that decision cos we ain't sure, the future ain't certain to us, anything can happen. The patient dog sometimes eat the fatest bone or get starved. If she is patient til I'm ready and I later married her....she's lucky. She might stil wait patiently but I later didn't marry her also due to some considerations...
I agree with your first sentence. The bank is responsible for safeguarding money you deposit into them and not money in your pocket or handbag. However, if you slip and break a wrist, the only compensation you may get is "eyaaa...sorry". One, you aren't a worker in the bank who slipped while performing his duties, hence they are not liable. You may be a customer but, there's no evidence that you didn't slip of your own error...your shoes may be the cause. Since, I don't expect the floor of a bank to be wet I don't think I'll expect a sign: Beware of wet floor.
On the other hand they may be liable as the floor of a bank should be devoid of excessive liquids and other materials that may cause harm. It depends on the circumstances. Why is there water on the floor? Is there a justifiable reason? These are questions the bank should answer.
You are gradually stepping into an unknown terrain. Your earlier postulation, though with warped grammar and boisterous use of the latin phrases, were never the less, in line with legal principles. However, on the present analogy of falling and breaking a wrist in the banking hall, please review what the law says about occupiers liability. Stop misinforming readers who are here to learn.

zebra: Please, if World Educational Services (WES), a US educational evaluation agency could evaluate a Nigerian HND certificate and say it is equivalent to a 4-year Bsc Degree, what then is the problem of Nigeria and Nigerians? Many HND holders have had their transcripts evaluated by WES and the outcomes have been that the Nigerian HND is equivalent to a Bsc Degree. What then is making Nigeria to still discriminate against Nigerian HND holders? Try evaluating ur Bsc or HND certificate with www.wes.org and see. Or, is it that they don't know what they are doing?
Thank God I chose a course that is neither taken as a diploma course whether ordinary or higher nor is it subject to evaluation, you are either a lawyer or not. So simple.

Travel › Re: Why Should Someone Sell Their Properties To Travel Abroad by hardbody: 3:26pm On Dec 15, 2013
Mr Knowitall: Most Nigerians sell their properties to travel abroad because the rate of returns for their time, effort, investment,

education etc... is much better abroad.

Also, there are other factors you have to add to the equation: security, emergency service, stability, etc...

For example, lets say that your friends car was worth $8,000, his house was worth $80,000, and his boutique was

worth $10,000. Now lets assume your friend's boutique was bringing in about $16,000 a year, and he spent about

$15,000 to come to the United States. So your friend had a minimum of $98,000 minus the $15,000 he spent on

coming to the United States, so the moment your friend lands in the U.S he has $83,000 to invest in his future.

Because your friend was making $16,000 a year in Nigeria from his boutique, every year he Spense in the U.S,

he would have to make at least that much to at least justify why he left Nigeria. But since he had $83,000 cash

on hand, you will have to divide the $83,000 by $16,000 he was making yearly in Nigeria so this gives him a 5

year head start. Every dollar your friend makes in those five year is a surplus. If anytime within those five

years your friend gets a four year degree or some kind of technical training and starts making $44,000 a year,

your friend would be consider a brilliant investor. In fact, he could even go back to Nigeria an use his degree

to work and make more money than he would had made running the boutique. There are more variables to

the equation but this is just a break down i guess.

agbameta: 30 years of crying to the same worthless FG is not enough? If Fashola can build the best bridge in West Africa in less than 3 years, how come the FG of Nigeria and the governors in the SE can not build a little bridge in 30 years even with their donated electoral votes for the Aso Rock dullard who is obviously taking them for granted...?

How hard is it to build this bridge? Must people die and perish before their corrupt, lazy and incompetent leaders lift a finger?
This is one reason I always break my journey if am driving to the eastern parts. I don't want to sink in my car. I usually terminate my first leg of the trip at asaba and take off the next morning early enough to drive through the bridge and Onitsha at regular speed. That way, I have no fear of staying long on that bridge and risking a collapse. I hope something is done soon though , the death of one is the death of all.
Car Talk › Re: Why Toyota Camry Tiny Light Is Easily Stolen! by hardbody: 8:01pm On Dec 14, 2013
Eyop: Bro forget about that car because my very close friend's own was stolen at gunpoint at Mafoluku. When he narrated the ordeal to me,he swore never to buy any Toyota vehicle again. The same armed robbers that robbed him also snatched 2 Toyota Corolla,1 Camry(his own which was over a year old),1 Toyota Highlander and 1 Toyota Rav4. His own was the worst because he lied to them that there's no security installed in the vehicle thinking they will just kick him out of the car but he never knew they will drive it with him but after like 30mins of driving, the vehicle was off and that was how they knew that it has a security installed. He said they beat the hell out of him grin grin and after he showed them, they threw him out only with his boxers.

So why buy a car that you won't be able to go out at anytime.
My office wanted to buy a Toyota corolla for me then as a status car, I opted for a Hyundai Tucson after 3 of my colleagues had theirs stolen at gun point and one of the guys even had his leg shattered as he was trying to collect his official laptop. More than 4 years down the line, I am still owning my Tucson and enjoying it. It is believed not to have second hand value but I know the number of people asking whether I want it sold. I drive it at odd hours being a chronic nite crawler and no one seems to ever take a fleeting interest in stealing it.

Labakeakin: Access bank asked all the executive directors and top management officers to resigned with immediate effect. Sadly no redundancy package. Salaries weren't paid to them after 3 weeks of resigning. Cars, generators etc were taken awayfrom them.I am not saying workers shouldnt be laid off but they should be sorted out and made happy for working for years at the bank. It's sad that the board of access bank as turn a blind eye to dis injustice. I have watched Access bank attitude towards their staff over the years it's appalling and sad. Access bank staff work with fear!!the fear of the deputy managing director is the beginning of wisdom. They are insulted and tramped under. They sometimes go to work employed n return home unemployed, the DMD who plays god. It's indeed a black Christmas for Access bank executives. God in His infinite mercy guide and prosper these executives.
Its both crazy and funny to me. These guys that call themselves bankers carry on with so much airs and think of themselves as gods and when the expected happens we start feeling sorry for them. I deliberately left the banking sector years ago during the capitalization era, people thought I was mad leaving the glamorous banking sector and going into some old fashioned non bank financial services industry. Today as I speak, I am changing into another job by first week in January while these super rich and very glamorous bankers are being asked to go. Lesson, take a long view of the industries and access the most volatile and avoid them. I snooped around in my hey days at the bank and I knew I had no business with access bank as the MD is not only a cow boy but very erratic and irrational. Monday business meetings start at 6am. Its all BS working with the fear of the unknown. Anyways, God be with them but I will never support any banking job in Nigeria, never.

Na my units be that ooo. In my days it used to be free and feeding at the main cafe was subsidized that it was near free too. Caution deposit was like N20K and was refunded upon graduation and clearance.

I have however noticed from the trend that university education at least in the public schools are dirty cheap. The costs I am seeing are generally lower than what students pay per term in private secondary and in some instances private primary schools. I got a coupla cousins I am paying for so I do know.

My submission is that cost is relatively low for public unis . As for the fundamental objectives, I hope we know that that chapter is non justiciable.
