Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do People Treat The Jehovah Witnesses Like A Plague by hardbody: 9:19am On Jul 30, 2014
italo: What do you mean by gospel truth?

That Jesus came in 1914?

That heaven got filled in 1935?

That Abraham, Isaac and Jacob came to earth in 1925?

All these Jehovah's witnesses prophecies (and many many more) are what you call "gospel truth?"
They preach point No.1, and have shown me enough proof.
I am not quite sure about point No.2, although i have heard that going to heaven is still open especially if any who has been so appointed fails to remain steadfast and
Point No.3 ....I have never heard them preach this before. I have mentioned it and it was vehemently denied. Now you have started lying against them again. That is what i hate about people like you.

On the first two points, they will discuss and read, from YOUR OWN bible. I have proof of that, and i have presented various bible versions and what they have read are contained in all, even if the tenses and construction changes, the context remains always the same.

IBO KNOWS THAT GOING HOME AT PERIODICALLY WON'T FAVOUR THEM
read my post above and hang your head in shame. Whoever chooses not to travel may have his reasons, we igbos travel most during Xmas and the impact is usually felt at least by traffic in Lagos. We work hard wherever we are and travel to relax when we best can and choose.

Kalvan: Only Our "Jewish" ibo brothers don't know their hometown. Too busy trying to claim another man's land.
i spent the long weekend in my hometown Arochukwu in Abia State. I flew in yesterday for a meeting in my office. My last visit before this was 2 weeks after Easter in April. I was home in Easter actually for my mums burial rites and was home till January after Xmas time in the villa. I am home again on the 8th of August. Please when last did you travel and don't tell me you are a Lagosian because it wont fly. In all modesty, i also stay in my personal house in Lagos, so its nothing to do with not being comfortable here. I am waiting....

Bros when u hear interrogation in Nigerian Police Force it means massive assault, battery and dehumanizing treatment. People get so Zap.ed up that they admit to a crime so that they don't die in the course of the interrogation. But let the guilty not go unpunished

Family › Re: Men Are NOT The HEAD Of The Family! Read My Reason! by hardbody: 4:14pm On Jul 27, 2014
Relationship101: Kudos to all the women (and men) that are standing up against domestic abuse. Africans have experienced a large dose of abuse (especially to the women) and we need to stand up against this devilish act. I lopve women. They are queens. They are strong, energetic, important and compassionate. Damn! Did I forget to mention that they are sexy?
.....................

BUT*clears throat* for those idiots that think men are the HEAD which automatically place women somewhere beneath, I pray you fall into river niger and drown (fortunately for you, that isn't going to happen) but I still wish bad for you. To all those stupid women that has been brainwashed into thinking that they need to be beaten, harassed or maltreated for them to BE a woman, I pray you go to hell fire. You have lost your sense of becoming 'yourself'. You've sold your soul to an ideology that is contrary to the ethics of being a human being. To all those clergy that preaches 'submission' to women. I come against you with all my might. You have destroyed our women. You have made our wife remain in an abusive home simply because they need to be submissive to their fucking husband. What actually is submission? Is it the 21st century term for slavery. Woe unto you! You have made the teenagers in my street think that they need to FEAR men and give them respects they don't deserve simply because they are men.

Marriage is not a hierarchy of positions. It is partnership. It is BEING together. It is LOVE. It is kissing all night by the moon light without any thought for tomorrow. Women are not baby making machines. Their DUTY is not to be used.

A marriage without children can also be a sweet marriage if both parties agree together. Don't call the woman witch. (Yes I am talking to you the useless in-laws). Go get a job and stay away from peoples life. Women pride is my pride. Women courage is my courage. Women freedom is my freedom. I love women.
Guess what? Women will not even agree with you. Even in partnerships (there are still superiors). I do agree in principle of equality of men and women in a relationship and marriage, but it goes without saying that women are basically complimentary to men and me have the headship. It is called primus interpares. (First among equals). Same way you have class reps, monitors, etc. These are not superior to other members of the class but they are given authority and power to stand above the other members who are also co-equal, Even the Chief Judge of a state is still a judge, with similar qualifications like the other judges, but he is kept in that position to provide direction and leadership for his brother judges.

i knw say na joke but am talkng of legit motivation. all those u say its been budgeted in their year's budget so una dem fit scam cos una no sabi una right n what d law says
Bros leave this knowing your right things alone. I know my rights and have been knowing them since last decade....if you catch my drift......

Reality is what counts. I know when an when not to insist on motivating the police

But i see you point though....i was not looking at the legit motivational angle
Politics › Re: What Happened To The Nigerian Army . by hardbody: 9:23am On Jul 27, 2014
poiZon: bros leave ABACHA ur mentor abi ROLE MODEL out of this issue. lemme tell u what u dont knw, any country that partakes in peace keeping in another country, its either AU or UN that takes care of the soldiers involved. and they are paid in dolls i heard between 50 n 100 dolls everyday plus other benefits in additional to your salary in your country so they will alwayys be well behaved so they can come back n flex their money. unlike what we r facing with the boko unslaught, the soldiers aint out of the country so they are doing their civic n basic duties which they were sworn to do which is PROTECT THE BORDERS OF THE COUNTRY FROM EXTERNAL FORCES n maintain peace and order in the country. to me what they are clamourng for is rubbish cos it is what they swore to do. abi the police men that fights crimes do they need additional motivation interms of CRIME FIGHTING ALLOWANCE?
Not to join issues with you but just to answer to your last question....Yes the police need and INDEED insist on motivation before they fight crime. You need to mobilize them for an arrest, fuel their pick up van, drop something for the men going out for the arrest, etc.

On the roads, the collect money from everything that has 'inner light' even in the afternoon. Police indeed needs and collects motivation to work

You are quoting the Bible, discussing and engaging with God. He is studying the Quran and practicing to kill in the name of Allah.....This discussion is tangentially inclined. You are both not communicating between yourselves.

Shekson: We all hate these northerners given their antecedents. Haueva, let's look at the other side of dis riot. Peaceful protesters aren't meant to be shot at by 'riot police' not to talk of soldiers. Wat I fear most is the rise of anoda violent group consolidating Boko Haram's insurgency. Whether we like it ot not, this worst possible consequence is still gonna be a source of major concern to us all, even if yu dont stay in the north.
As the yoruba addage says, ' a tree dat falls in the forest can still land on the hauz'.
If a tree in the forest falls on a house, what is that house doing in the forest? A very pathetic and misplaced adage. Now let me ask, did the peaceful protesters seek and obtain a permit for the procession? Or you do not know that the Police issues such permits? I wish all the dead men 144 virgins each in the hereafter, after all, that is what propels them to slit people's throat at random.

rozayx5: i wonder who joined us with these fellows in the north sad sad
If they did not teach you history, could you also not read? Now that is not the issue here. The annoying part is that we made efforts to extricate ourselves from the ungodly web and some people led by Gowon said we must remain one. I pray that he Gowon continues to live to see his people reap from his fruit of hard and heinous labour. The blatant killing of defenceless men, women and children of Biafran extract shall never go unpunished. The worst is yet to come. Karma and nemesis don't judge wrongly.

kingzjay: This form of writing originates from the Efiks (In the present day Cross River State) and some parts of Akwa Ibom State.

Its a special kind of writing system used by the Ekpe Community (A unique/colourful masquerade) in communicating between persons who were members of the Ekpe society.

Its still in existence till date.
you are dead right. The efiks use this language and its mostly the ekpe society that utilizes it. Most people that understand its writing and interpretation are getting extinguished. When the ekpe masquerade is making its rounds we use the nsibidi to detain a masquerade from other villages as the masquerade cannot cross until the answer is provided. I know a bit of the language as written and use it when i can. The communities that know ekpe must have a bit of understanding of the language. The efiks own ekpe and the aros have that affiliation with the efiks. I am from Arochukwu.

That will mean less blasting of siren and disturbing our peace on third mainland bridge when they are muscling their way and scaring every other car off because they want to get to the airport faster than mere mortals. They should leave us alone ooooooo. They are the ones that put us here, they should go and leave us alone. O tan.
