Sports › Re: Nosa Igiebor Injured After Attack On Eagles In Ethiopia. Eagles Set New Record. by hardbody: 2:55pm On Oct 15, 2013
[quote author=Okija_juju]Ethiopia had a good plan coming into the match.. They had the home advantage (and I'm not talking of just fans), I'm talking terrain, altitude and weather.

The Nigerians being professionals knew this and had a counter strategy.. Soak up the pressure, allow them tire out and hit them when they're at their weakest.

Their plan failed because Nigeria didnt starrunning until the 65th minute. If you think the eagles played badly, you are right. But from a technical point of view, it was brilliant strategy that worked..

Ethiopians should wait for the second leg.. We go treat this their Bleep up for calabar..
[/

quote]

You simply echoed my tactical understanding of their game plan. Meanwhile some people have this understanding that Ethiopia played better. Ethiopians chose the hottest time and together with the altitude advantage had hoped to wear our players out, but our players conserved energy till it became necessary to expend. Guess what, it was Ethiopia that eventually called for water break not Nigeria. This once Keshi and the technical team got their tactic right.

Paul the apostle said with his own hands he eked out a living and provided both for himself and those around him who were in need. Your pastors fool you with all the talk about tithing and as usual play on your fears by telling you about devourer, etc etc. meanwhile the guy and his wife are living large on your sweat, driving the best cars and at times owning a jet, building schools and when opportunity calls for it, they fork your wives and daughters and tell you not to judge or not to touch God's annointed (as if you wimps are not annointed too). Infact these days they fly your daughters abroad and teach them a level of grace beyond comprehension and you guys sit down here and continue to talk about tithe this and tithe that.

I am not falling mugu to any person that believes he can harrass me into giving him my hard earned money. The Bible said we should with our own hands work out what we will eat, if pastor or Man of God is not going to work, I swear he will starve. Shi Shi, i no go give am.

Bidam: was Jesus a pharisee? YES..Do pharisees pay tithe? Yes.Was Paul a pharisee? Yes..Do pharisees pay tithe? YES. Jesus fulfilled the law.You don't need a prophet to tell you these things.Use your brain? cheesy
Did you just say Jesus was a Pharisee?

I give up on you and your religion.

If it was in Bible times, we would have stoned you to death for blasphemy
Christianity Etc › Re: Anti-tithers Are Playing On The Intelligence Of Nigerian Churches by hardbody: 6:00pm On Oct 14, 2013
Akshow: I bet u are a pastor @op and 'biz' is slow dis days. Ur topic should be 'churches are playing on d intelligence of Nigerian tithers'.
Bros tell him ooo.

People tithe for them and give them their first fruits. they use those to buy large cars and jets and most of all build state of the art universities where the children of the tithers cannot afford to attend because of the high cost.

I think 2 Corinthians 4:4 applies to these people. They have refused to learn.
Car Talk › Re: Components To Avoid When Washing A Car Engine by hardbody: 4:39pm On Oct 14, 2013
amdman: I just got my wife a this lovely Pontiac Aztek and this is exactly the question on my mind. I have never steam washed the engine bay of my Ford Explorer and not inclined towards washing the engine bay of this Pontiac either. But wifey being particular about such things, would love a clean engine bay.

Is there any safe way to wash the engine bay as against the massive flushing with water that is widely practiced in Nigeria?
Take it back to Cotonou where you bought it and ask them to steam wash it for you. Do not attempt to do it in 9ja ooo

Sports › Re: Haruna Lukman Deserves Eagles Call Up by hardbody: 6:00pm On Oct 11, 2013
mikeansy: I personally think Haruna lukman deserves to be called up too, but I can't quite take it as far as saying it is unacceptable

Football is not an individual game, and its also about discipline if Keshi does not believe that Lukman gives anything to his midfield I will trust his judgement because he is the coach.

I have seen this team outplay Ivory Coast and Uruguay in the midfield so I will leave it to Keshi to make the call whether he needs to add anyone to his midfield.

where I think we need new faces is defence. Kenneth Omeruo and Oboabona are very good ball passing Center Backs. Okwuosa and Egwuekwe are NOT. Personally I will replace Okwuosa/Egwuekwe with Joseph Yobo and Dele Adeleye but then again Keshi is the coach and I will rather leave it up to him.
Bro, you were making sense until you turned to sensible nonesense by mentioning Joseph Yobo.....

why do you want to take us milleniums (millenia) (both usage are correct btw) back? With Yobo on that pitch, we would not have won the ANC. With Yobo on that pitch, i am near cetain we will not be contemplating qualifying for the last legs of the WC qualifiers with Ethiopia. Any other player but Yobo please

He had his chance

Gorrbachev: The likes of mikel obi, emenike etc refused to be loyal to managers that are not ibo. We now know the region that will refuse to contribute if the boss is not their tribes man.
Strictly speaking, Keshi is not igbo and at any rate, he is from the same tribe as samson siasia. So if the names you mentioned would sabotage Sia one, why would they subjugate to Keshi? And i am using your lop-sided analysis.

Now you sound like the dolt that you are....

By the way, i tell people junior to me in the office, yes sir. They know i cant be serious as i can really fire their sorry a$$ the next second if they as much as step out of line.

Someone once defined diplomacy as telling someone to go to hell and the person is fervently asking you the shortest route for that trip.

Give the police some credit even if I am not their fan. Once the killing is not politically motivated they will sniff out the killers. . It never meant anything to you when u all were boosting their economy by spending all your earnings in their shops and stores making frivolous purchases and searching outpost exotic locations to take pics and post on BB while screaming Westminster tingz, one thing one thing square, etc etc.

You guys should make the deposit except u have no.plans of returning to Nigeria. My position remains as it had always been, except when my company funds my off shore trainings, I will never use my earnings or savings to improve the lot of John Bull that still looks down on me with derision, never now, never later.

Travel › Re: Lagos Plane Crash: Names Of Victims by hardbody: 6:41pm On Oct 03, 2013
There are always two sides to a coin. In the christian world they say, you must be born again (born twice), in the occult world they say, you must die again (die twice). Agagu only fulfilled the expectations of his occultic brothers by dying twice. As for the other followers, they are on a long thing.

Which reminds me, Ondo stretch of the Shagamu - Benin Expressway remains the worst till date. I was there just this last sunday ( i could not afford the cost of flight as i had quaffed all my money in the course of the new yam festival) and we were in traffic for upwards of three hours just because of a terrible spot.

I am not celebrating his death, but what goes around comes around. Why could they not drive to Akure? Bad road. Could they have fixed it when in power? Yes. Did they? No. Nemesis is a bitch, Datz all.

As for the bereaved, God dey.

Politics › Re: 8 Drown In Lagos Boat Accident by hardbody: 11:18am On Oct 02, 2013
double3: I think the passengers were adamant towards telling the boat operator to return back to shore;this was exactly what happened when I traveled to bonny early this year;5minutes into the journey one of the speed boat engines failed, and the boat operator tried to assure us that we can manage one while he repaired the second one on the way;as God would have it,we had reasonable passengers on board who insisted the operator turns back with the one engine we had left. Though he proved stubborn but continuous persistence on our path made him return ashore.
My exact experience en route Bonny too from the PH water fronts. I hope we were not both in the same boat. I lost my phone though while trying to hop assure when the boat came astern, but i still thank God that the journey was aborted as i am now certain i would not have come out alive considering the incident that followed on the next day (a bus i was journeying with from PH to Enugu was shot at by armed robbers at about 4.30pm in the early evening just 30 minutes before Enugu town). Needless to say, those were some of the reasons i resigned my job then, A near mishap in the air, in the water and then on the road. I decided it was time to move.

I sypmathise with the bereaved though.
