Please I want to knw if there is any side effect from d above to women. Cos some pple say it can damage a woman's womb. Is it true or are there other side effects.
Keep smoking your stuff jare. If tobacco and indeed alchohol had anything to do with the womb, all the ashewos wouldnt be taking in ever or better still would not be taking preventive pills.

Tobacco taken in moderate levels does no harm, if it were to be otherwise, it would be banned completely. Have you ever been able to buy acid from the streets?

I never acted in any unto wards manner against pedestrians. I am always conscious of everyone's potential of driving at least one car in a life time. I slow down where there are poodles to avoid splashing people with dirty water. Even when I mistakenly rush people to cross zebra crossings, I always slow down to apologize. Recall, all that trekk are not without cars, some parked and are walking down for convenience. I do it a lot when I am in Lagos island. I park at the Marina car park and walk to my destination be it CBN, NSE or any of such places around broad street and it's adjoining business areas. Finally, some people trekking actually drive better car than you do, so I belittle no one.

Please send me a mail so I can plan my homeward move. It has become clear that we will have to move finally. Long live Biafra and may Ojukwu rest in peace for he is the man that saw tomorrow

Politics › Re: Fashola Denies Deportation Allegation At Meeting With Igbo Leaders by hardbody: 4:09pm On Aug 03, 2013
I for one am not in support of destitution.

Imo, tackling the problem of destitution is a joint effort which needs to be handled by both the govt of the place of abode and the place of origin.

Nobody should try to skip their responsibility here, if na to enjoy the national cake now, the enjoyers do not call everybody to come and enjoy- they do it quietly, so there's no reason to now start publicizing other matters simply because you prefer destitutes stay destitu

Beggars from any state can be taken back to their state, regardless of tribal affiliation or origin, this is not a tribal matter and neither should it be taken personal.

Let us be our brother's keeper, there is no joy in knowing people from your state are destitute elsewhere. Put something in place for such so they dont fear returning home provided they committed no crime while there. Even if its farming or healthcare, do something.[/quote

Good point and responsibly made. So what do we to the destitute Yoruba boys that claim omo onile at car parks while sleeping inside broken down vehicles and under the bridge every night only to wait for opportunity to rob unfortunate passers by and car owners. The car Park at marina is under concession to a certain company but after paying the toll at the gate, some near toothless vagabonds will extort more from you at the risk of vandalizing your vehicle when u are gone. Are those not more destitute than the typical ibo boy struggling to sell gala and biscuits

to you on the road and therreby adding to service your economy. Fair is fair and just should be just.

ilugunboy: Stop ranting....

Go and show some love to you "deported" brothers and sisters...give them shelter...food and water.

That is the way to show you genuinely care about their plight and not just braying like a goat on NL..

Why are these Igbos trying to outdo one another on who can shout most about this non-issue? undecided
You keep using the phrase 'braying'....dogs 'bay' and goats 'bleat'.

It is important we do not parade our ignorance in a public forum. I would not have commented on that if it happened just once, but a repeated use means you are ignorant ofthe usage and should therefore be 'whipped' back into the line.

As for your SAN governor sending my brothers (even none igbos) back to the east, he also paraded himself as ignorant and wimp. If he is not afraid of what the Northerners will do to his sorry a$$ why did he not send the beggars and almajiris loitering the whole of Lagos state back to teh North. Or do you have an explanation as to where he will send your area boys and touts who do nothing but harrass people for 'parking money' etc etc.

He has commenced teh job of building a bridge, when he is done and we get there, we will cross it.

I agree with you. In a crowd (let's say we are hanging out in a local pub or open air) mosquitoes dont bite me. Reason is simple, the few that manages to get their proboscis into me fly away drunk and they tell the rest to leave that man alone as he(that is me) only has alchohol flowing in his system. they just leave me alone. Reason to drink a lot more beer and multi-alchohol

Should he savour the glory and quid that comes with his stature, I think yes. In all, bro, you are not a child, so worry less and do your thing.

Career › Re: Things You Should Never Say To Your Employees. by hardbody: 6:33pm On Aug 01, 2013
I am certain those facts are taken and can be applied in the western work place. None of those counts in 9ja. I can tell you because i know. employees have rights 'on paper' that can hardly ever be exercized. If you doubt it, complain to your boss over any of those points and you will get a transfer to an office close to the kitchinette (that spelling is wrong i guess) or worse still a letter telling you that 'your services are no longer required'. Wanna go to court, your employer will put a SAN on your case and by the time you are done, no sane employer will want to recruit a staff that has the 'tendency' of taking the company to court. Please do not apply hook, line and sinker. It wont work here, not yet, at least.

Imagine if he had a Will. No body would have dared take away whatever he willed to any of his wives or kids. A lesson in life for those of us still living.

I am from Abia but haven't stayed there for up to three (3) years. I have been in Lagos for an extended period of time but i have no relative in the civil service.

All of those are disqualifying factors. Nice topic though
