Daejumong: As men of God, let us be careful so that we don’t lose guard spiritually when fame, wealth and power comes! I have heard Pastor Adeboye say this, that his door his always open whenever he is doing counseling especially if it is a lady. He even consciously avoid proximity. Anybody that knows Pastor Adeboye background would know he is not a Jew, someone that has positioned himself for quality high society life before God called. He knows what happens when body-touch-body. Even a man with such high position in Christdom knows that Caution is the word. I no go talk more than that. |

CaptainFM1: You're right. The justice system should not condone same fraud from politicians. Fraud is fraud.
It goes back to the two type / double standard system we practiced in Nigeria. One man committed terrorism act by impeding a plane from taking off, he was awarded ambassador of aviation safety, the other had encounter with air hostess, she saw the inside of kirikiri.
Also, is Bobrisky money spraying crime different from Okoya's son?
Everybody knows crime is crime, and fraud is fraud. But we the same cliche doesn't hold firm in our judicial practice. You are one of the contributors to the double standard we have in Nigeria. Always comparing and contrasting, even when crime is involved. You have stated differentiating why it is a lesser crime cuz it’s a small money. Until we all do away with this mentality and serve justice accordingly, Nigeria cannot be better. If my mother steals maggi and i am the judge, I would gladly give her the maximum punishment for petty theft under the constitution |

CaptainFM1: When I say more serious pertinent matters, you should understand that it's not in anyway relegating this one to the bottom pit. If we see similar speed of adjudication on every other matters, people won't complain.
Even Fraud cases have categories. A poor man's fraud case of 50k is easily dispensed but those that runs into millions of dollars will take eternity or even squashed along the line once the judge has been settled or politically aligned. Anyone that defrauds another of 50k when given the opportunity to defraud 50 million would take it. Fraud is fraud, a behavior that shouldn’t be condoned on any level |

CaptainFM1: To comment dey hungry me. But I don't think I'm adequately informed of the whole story.
But in all, I still think our court should get serious with more pertinent matters.
Also, I don't know if I should call the man that sued her a gentleman or not. So fraud is not a serious matter to you. Is this not what social media scams are about, you go pay and not recieve what you paid for. If it is not serious to you then you must be a fraudster. |

RealityKings1: The guy is actually right, Solomon had peace of mind for a reason. The more of them you have, the more your Peace of mind. It is a sad reality. I was gisting with a femail colleague about marriage and related matters recently. Her serious conclusion on marriage is this: once she blows 💰 she doesn’t need marriage. Meaning it is now that she hasn’t blow that she would consider marriage. This is not even about her, this is more of a systemic thinking and the problem is from our current society and value orientation. We are fast losing family values and placing “self” above all else, this is more prevalent among women. When a man has money, he thinks of starting and taking care of a family. When a woman comes into serious money she would most likely tell you she doesn’t need a man! Nothing wrong with a man safeguarding his finances.

Shadowpyper: Hello nairalanders, please I need advice on how to go about this.
I’m 28 years old and recently completed my NYSC service. Honestly, I’m not sure what to do next, I'm just confused . During my service year, I was able to save 800k. I’ve already spent 200k to get an apartment and buying essential items, wnd I'm left with 600k. I’m now considering the best way to make use of it, maybe starting a business or learning a skill, I just confuse. I know the amount may seem small, but I just want to start from somewhere.
I have graphic design skills but I don't earn much from It.
I'm thinking of learning a tech skill but my money won't be enough to enroll for it and still take care of myself while learning
I just confuse, please I will appreciate it I can get useful advice here We have similar life experience, only that i was way much younger when i finished NYSC. The remaining 600k is counting down, your first course of action is to get a job, any job. You need cashflow. Work towards a good corporate job if you have a good degree. The purpose of the job is to meet your immediate needs, it should cover feeding, transportation, other little needs and leave you with atleast a little to save. Then you can use your free time to upgrade your skill. Life takes us, along different paths, be open minded to new experiences, skills, business opportunities, you never know which path would establish you. Lastly, pray pray pray. No be who run fastest dey carry first, you need divine help. Channel all your anxiety into prayers. As you are idling looking for a job, pray as many times a day. Also try the God of David Oyedepo, his God delivers speedily. Join the Living Faith aka Winners Church nearest to you. |

That baby needs a father figure. The fact that you chose to mother a child without a father, places you onthe same pedestal as the LGBTV community. Some people would think you are just dashing and hating but it is proven fact that single parenthood is a menace to the society. These children are being affected psychologically, and they have high tendency (fact) towards crime. I get it when middle aged women have no option then to get pregnant but then when we do stop to think of the impact on the children and it corrupts the society at large.
