Sandra Bullock
Sandra Bullock probably wins the award for most successful person
to drop out with the least credits left to complete. She only had three
measly credits left to go in order to get her degree when she
dropped out of the drama program at East Carolina University to
chase an acting career. It turns out that what seemed like a crazy
decision paid off in the end, when in 2011 she was the highest paid
actress. While Sandra eventually earned those three credits to finish
her degree, she is still a successful dropout!

Tiger Woods
Tiger attended Stanford University, majoring in economics, while
he continued to play amateur golf. He dropped out after two years of
college to go pro, which turned out to be a good economical decision.
He ended up being on of the highest paid athletes in the world.

Tom Hanks
It's been about 30 years since Tom Hanks decided to drop out of
Sacramento State College and take an internship at a theater in
Cleveland, Ohio to pursue his acting dream. The A list actor has
starred in too many successful movies to name and earned two
Oscar wins for 'Forrest Gump' and 'Philadelphia.' Good choice, Tom!

Mark Zuckerberg
Anyone who has watched 'The Social Network' already knows this
story, but if you haven't, I'll give you the short version. Mark
Zuckerberg was attending Harvard when he thought up the concept
for Facebook. As the idea took off, he eventually dropped out, moved
to California and became the youngest billionaire in the world.
And all of us Facebook addicts are thankful he did!

James Cameron
James Cameron is the director who brought us 'Titanic' and 'Avatar,'
among many, many other successes. He enrolled in Fullerton College
in the 70s, intending to major in physics; but he dropped out, married
a waitress and became a truck driver before he eventually became
a success in Hollywood.

Bill Gates
Bill Gates might be the most successful college dropout of all time.
He only went to Harvard for two years before quitting to found
Microsoft. In 2007, over 30 years after he dropped out, Harvard
granted him an honorary doctorate, not that he needed it since he did
just fine without even a BS or BA, but it was a nice gesture!

CFCfan: I think its a good move for European football because the financial costs of hosting the tournament would be spread out to different countries, not just one. However, the logistics could become an issue. Will a Group play all their matches in one city/stadium or will the matches of that group be spread out to other cities? I think UEFA should mandate at least 2 cities in each country to host matches, or a single city could present two stadia for the tournament.
It couldn't be possible a team would tour different countries to play diff matches ?

It mos def raise a lot of questions on its implementation feasibility.

Sports › Euro 2020 Finals To Be Held In Multiples Cities Across Europe by HARDDON(op): 6:50pm On Dec 06, 2012
The 2020 European Championship finals will be held in a number of cities across Europe, Uefa has announced.

It means there will be no one country hosting the tournament, which will have expanded to 24 teams by then.

The Football Association has already put forward Wembley to European governing body Uefa as a possible venue for the final.

It’s not often that UEFA come up with an actually intelligent decision but we have to tip our hat to Mr. Platini and co. This idea is a good one and one that will surely be accepted by all European footballing federations.

Aside from some potential issues relating to distances that need to be covered by any one nation this is a sound idea that may well freshen up the format

Uefa’s executive committee took the decision at a meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland today and the bidding process to host various stages of the finals will start in March.

The Football Association has already put forward
Wembley to European governing body Uefa as a
possible venue for the final.
Wales, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland have
also expressed their interest to Uefa in staging
matches.
"Uefa Euro 2020 will be staged across the continent,
in various major cities, following a decision taken
today. A Euro for Europe follows an initial idea by
Uefa president Michel Platini.
"The response has been extremely positive from all
the national associations."
Infantino added the bidding process for the host
cities would start in March and decisions would be
made in the spring of 2014.
Platini, who won the tournament in 1984 with
France, floated the idea as a way of avoiding high
costs at a time of financial hardship in many
countries.
Higher-than-expected costs and building delays
caused problems for the 2012 tournament in Poland
and Ukraine.

in your opinion, is this a gud move? What cud go wrong? Down side?
