These and many more happen to a lot of people and the make their conclusions of who God is, some say the name of Jesus or Jesus himself is a scam. Some have gone diabolic now to help themselves cos these thing as preach isn't really so.
What you should do is to endeavour to sincerely and calmly while thinking deep answer for yourself some vital questions.
1. Who am I and what can I do, where am I.
2. What does the Bible really say about Jesus and his name and others.
3. Is there a God.
4. Does he hears and answer, etc.

All the answer has already been given to us in his word. Remember just because something didn't work for someone doesn't mean its fake. Find out for yourself, who was the person that try to do that thing, did he do it according to outline principles, what does he know.

It all sum down to what the Bible already say, "My people are destroy (crush down, suffer, frustrated) because of lack of knowledge."

When you've checked for yourself and not making endings base on what you saw you will come to one ending that there's power in the name of Jesus. I was in your shoe some years ago, so I can understand your premises. At times those you thought knew the gospel of Jesus Christ just don't know it, they working in ignorance.

For example, the bible say, "Without faith you cannot please God." If you like cry till you cut yourself, even ask others to pray for you, fast, do whatever you think you know, if it's not by faith (in his word and him), you cannot please him (i.e. no precise results for you). So learning the word of God is very vital. Thank you.

as far as your validation is coming from the bible, your argument is baseless. Anything can be written in any book, it does not make it true. If God works, you dont need excuses to back his/her/it's failures. The christian faith is based on excuses and wishes. You take all outcomes as depending on your whims and mood. Sometimes you choose to accept your misfortunes in good faith, other times you chose to be stubborn and shout, "this is not my portion in jesus name!". Wake up billions are living their lives without Jesus and they experiencing life about the same way as those who believe in jesus.

i dont know if the video is on youtube cos i only saw it on a friend's phone. These pastors are real con men and the congregation are sheep indeed. He made it seem the name Jesus was a magic word that can solve any problem. In reality the name has value only to those who hold the name in esteem. It is a very useless name as useless as any other.

Watched a video on a friend's phone, in the Video, pastor Chris was teaching on the power in the name of Jesus. He demontrated with members of his church asking two volunteers to step forward. He asked the woman to shout the name jesus and command the other volunteer (a man) to fall and not be able to stand up. Guess what happened?.... oh you where expecting a spoiler there? Hehehe, trust me, no spoilers with pastor chris. The man fell and could not rise up again. All because he was commanded using the name 'Jesus' to cripple him.
Then he was released from the bondage, ... of cause not in hardmirror's name. But in the name of Jesus.

The church went mad and wild with excitement. (mad people)
Then using the name jesus pastor chis made hundreds of people fall at once by just throwing a handkerchief at them. Of cause he had to first fortify the handkerchief with the name of jesus. #*winks*

I have seen videos of benny hinn (ironically pastor chris' friend) do the same thing.

When i was a christian, benny hinn fascinated me above any other god of men.
Benny hinn can make the whole congregation fall with just a swope of his hands or with a little blow to the microphone. *mass hysteria is real*

The name of Jesus is useful for snake oil sales men called pastors, but never useful in solving any real life problem. After all the stunts people are willing to give their saving up but they all go back to the regular life anyone lives, even those that worship nothing.


How many people have died in accidents whiles shouting Jesus? Millions for sure.

First, just like Atiku; Nnamdi Kanu is a monumental fraud. Most of us Igbos and other Nigerians are very much aware of this.

While Atiku is getting popular for the seat of presidency because Buhari has failed woefully. Nnamdi Kanu is also getting popular because there has been an obvious and crass discrimination against a section of Nigeria since the sixties.

I will never vote for Atiku neither will I ever take Nnamdi Kanu serious. But where there's intentional INJUSTICE, any fraudster and rifraff from anywhere with a message of hope and redemption will always attract the sympathy of the people being unjustly treated.

No country has ever developed with INJUSTICE. A sitting president who is always verbal about "one Nigeria" has the guts to publicly divide Nigeria into 97% 5% just because of common choice of vote!

Ibos/Eastern Nigeria The agitation for Biafra is not illegitimate, it can be based on sound argument depending on who is speaking and how honest the person is. Ibos are in a conundrum here. It is a confusing situation as this is the first time they are having a realistic path to the presidency of Nigeria. It is not guaranteed they would get a referendum that would lead to the independence of Biafra anytime soon, not even under Atiku. Referendum could garner more benefits to the SE but i dont see anyone giving them the state of biafra yet. Kanu would only succeed in helping buhari win come 2019
