Romance / Re: How Do We Know When A Lady Is Hitting On Us? by HarryDuce(m): 12:05am On Apr 13, 2019
•When the girl in question gets angry at you at the slightest jab.
•When she consciously avoids you even when you're in the same space: She'd want you to notice her of course. I honestly don't see how the logic in this one but, who knows?
Then again, it could be outright compliment from said female. You just have to keep your fingers crossed.
Politics / Re: Why Do Other Nigerians Stand Unbothered When SARS, Police Harass People? by HarryDuce(m): 11:35pm On Apr 12, 2019
It's the same reason we don't demand good governance from our elected leaders. The same reason we look at our environment in it's dilapidated state and decide to manage in the filth of society instead of doing something about it.

As long as our comfort zones are not directly threatened, we can't be bothered.
Fela summed it up in his song: Sorrow tears and blood.

(06:35PM. James' apartment)

''Tell us what happened already'' Tonye says, agitated.

''Wetin dey worry you sef? Leave him alone. Nobody's forcing you to sit and listen'' Chelsea yells at Tonye, getting annoyed by his constant nagging.

''Don't talk to me like that you gutter breath" Tonye shoots back at her, his agitation rising.

"Mumu" Chelsea retorts.

"What is your problem?" Tonye asks, a sardonic smile plastering his face "Is this about last night?"

"What? I don't know what you're talking about" Chelsea is smiling at this point. She does know what Tonye is talk about.

"Oh really? Too bad nobody wants you. You should be thanking me for keeping your vagina up and running. I deserve better"

"I'm sure you do" Chelsea replies, unfazed.

Tonye narrows his eyes, but comments no further.

"Tonye..." James speaks, confused and amused at the same time "Why are you here?"

Tonye looks at James like he is the scum of his toilet but doesn't reply. He brings out a 100 naira note from his pocket and stretches his hand out to James.

"Take... Go buy me cigar"

James gives him a funny look, arching his brows.

"Since when do you smoke?"

"Shut that mouth and collect this money from me" Tonye yells.

"Ignore him" Chelsea says to James then she turns to Tonye with a frown "It's enough now..."

Tonye opens his mouth to speak but he closes it on a second thought, unsure of what to say.

"Dont tell me what to do" he mutters weakly "bitch" he says as an after thought.

"Tonye... Are you drunk? Since when do you drink?" James asks, getting more confused.

"Which kyn mumu question be dah one?" Tonye looks unsure of himself as he yells.

"Why are you yelling?" Chelsea sighs as she rubs her eyes.

"Continue with your tale James... What happened to your sister?" Chelsea says.

James paused for a moment, looking from Tonye to Chelsea and from Chelsea to Tonye. "So you guys finally f*ucked huh?... When? For how long?" James asks with a bored expression on his face.

"I'm going to class" Chelsea says, picking her bag.

"By 7 in the evening? What kind of class is that?" Tonye asks, grinning.

She stands up and walks out the door of James' apartment, not replying as she slams the door shut.

"What was that about?" James asks after a moment's silence.

"What?"

"Wetin be whut?"

"I no know wetin you dey talk" Tonye says as he stands up to leave; his mood suddenly sober "I'm going home"

James looks at him like he expects an explanation, but Tonye avoids eye contact like his life depends on it. James sighs. He knows at this point, it's best to leave Tonye alone. He stands up and walks to the door where Tonye stood.

"I'll walk you to the junction" Tonye nods but says nothing. He waits for James to lock the door of his apartment.

"Let's go" James says as he starts walking with Tonye beside him.

Politics / Re: See How A White Man Is Treated In A Nigerian Palace by HarryDuce(m): 12:38pm On Apr 10, 2019
Lol. Funny thing is, he might just be an ordinary person with no significant material wealth or influence. But since he's white from a foreign country, they'd do anything to please.

No fvcks given.

Infinix phones are just so bland. No innovative designs. Nothing.
Most of their phones are identical, you can hardly tell the difference.

RichBoy247:

PDP was there for 16 years without doing anything to the Ogoni oil spill. If you think that it is your enemy Buhari that will do it, then you need psychiatric evaluation. Now here this, Buhari will never ever clean up your waters which you intentionally destroyed by blowing up pipelines .
Lol... I can only laugh at this especially the bold. When did you think oil spill started anyway? 20 years ago? How old are you by the way? I'm sure PDP is made up of only southerners smiley

Nobody is saintly where the Nigerian government is concerned.

Only the guilty will be scared of soldiers doing their work.
What "work" are they there to do exactly? Clean up the oil spill? Or is it to silence the protesters?

The way this government turn to soldiers at every opportunity is quite baffling.

Which stadium?

It's one thing to show interest. Competence is another story altogether.

I hope this one will not go the way of the African Athletics Championships.

Awara has a very minute chance of becoming governor though. Anything to keep Wike away from that seat, Amaechi will not hesitate to do. In the end, Wike and Amaechi, birds of a feather.

Many people will be bitter in the coming days for sure. grin
The thing is, Buhari is not exactly loved, but when you're presented with hot water and acid; water will be water and acid will be acid.
We just have to settle with Buhari. No matter the thoughts of some persons, He is better than Atiku. I hope by 2023, PDP will see reason to drop Atiku. (doubtful wink)

Truth be told I was expecting more support for Sowore (I don't fancy him though, he's diplomatically daft).
