customstreet: EllahLakes has even been there before Okomuoil and Presco. They were formally in fishing business before this new investor called CBO took over them
Very soon, they will be coming out with a right issue of 1,000,000,000 units @ N2.90
I spoke with the financial adviser and the company MD and they both confirmed this. EllahLakes and Onwuka Hitech were contemporary🙄 |

Cc @currenrprice, OGG etc Visit their website and go through the quarterly reports for the 2023 financial year ending April 30 and compare with prior year. Check the cash and retained earnings. You will get the answer to your query. |

yMcy56: Any link to this pls? When OGG kept mentioning it I had to do some digging. I hope I can still find some of the materials I stumbled upon. The Financials are nothing to write about at the moment but it doesn't stop speculators driving up the price. I may take a look at it again in another 6 months or thereabouts but there are better options for my money at the moment. It is a long term play (minimum of 5 years, given the dynamics of biological assets). |

ositadima1: ELLAHLAKES has been listed on the NGX for 3 or 4 years without generating any revenue. I didn't even know it was possible to list a company that is not generating revenue. They are involved in cassava and palm oil, and this penny stock looks like it could 5x in value once they start generating profits. But until then... Ellahlakes is not new entity on the NGX. It was as old as the exchange itself. It only got new funds injection with new management. It requires some patience before the benefits of the new effort and funds injection will start yielding the expected results. |

veecovee: Oh! I don't think CUTIX has declared any dividend this year. Or am I wrong It was described as Cutix 31 from EDC Registrars. I received it on June 22 (just last week) though I have been searching for the FS to no avail. ** seen the unaudited Q4 FS for the period ending April 30. ** the AFS should be released in July ** comparing the quarterly report with 2022 Q on Q indicate commendable improvements ** fingers crossed. Disclaimer: do your own DD |

veecovee: CUTIX may release their final result next week. What do you have to say about the company, do you foresee the ucap and nahco sudden upward match here? Cutix? I received some dividend from the company last week, was it not for the March 2023 year end? |

The shareholders of Prestige Assurance as extracted from the 2022 AFS
Leadway Assurance owns 6.1% while 78.32% is owned by The New India Assurance Company Ltd. This leaves a supposedly free float of about 15%. With about 85% held by non retail investors, what is the prospect for a serious rally in share price for this sleeping giant? This is not a BUY recommendation but an invitation to share perspectives.

Olaide1295: Fair point. I take them as my window to the capital market. They are not the ones to pay, but they can put systems in place to facilitate payment (Trove does this). It's a service they are rendering, superior services will win the market share. It is frustrating to have to send email every time for each stock in one's portfolio. I think it is time for SEC/CSCS to wake up from it's slumber to tackle the issues of unpaid dividend if there is a sincerity of purpose. 1. They need to jettison the idea of paper e-dividend forms. It was innovative when it was adopted a couple of years ago. 2. They should move to electronic portal that all Registrars should mandatorily plug into and investors should supply their details on the portal for the processing of current and any unclaimed dividend. 3. There should be a regular KYC update like every 2 years. Some individual Registrars like Coronation and CardinalStone already provide this service. However this should not be left at the discretion of Registrars. This is the way to go except the regulators is in connivance with the erring Registrars. |

I was asked to fill, sign and send the e-dividend mandate form through my email to the company's email.
This was how I got my outstanding dividends without any stress or delay. They now have an online portal where you can make your claims. |
