My friend late father bought several equities for him during the public offers of several quoted companies in late 90s, and early 2000s.Now his father was no more,all the certificates and receipts of purchase could not be retrieved, but my friend name is indicated against the affected companies and registrars on SEC website
He is 100% sure that the shares belong to him but he has no share certificate to back up his claims.
He is willing to use the information on SEC unclaimed d portal to drive home his point.
Please, what can he do to get his accumulated dividends and bonuses?
Also, what can he do to list the equities on cscs via a broker despite not having shares certificates?
