Foreign Affairs / Re: Taliban Announces ‘amnesty,’ Urges Women To Join Government by hayoholla(m): 7:01am On Aug 18, 2021

Almost every Afghan living in Afghanistan is a Muslim. They're running but they don't want to quit Islam. They are hypocrites not true Muslims. A true Muslim would love to live under Islamic law because he so much love Islam.

Mehn, I despise that thing called religion. It has a way of destroying the brain of people.

You know what brother. Its not about the people being hypocrite, its about their sanity and the various circumstances such as ideas and values of the culture they find themselves in, they are incapacitated by their own culture, no one was born being a Christian or a Muslim, but majority of us found ourselves in this ideas as a result of birth, so hence we have to follow the tradition. So you see those people running away, most of them are not in for the extremism of their religion, even if they have to practice it. It shouldn't strip them of their own lifes, of their personal freedom,it shouldn't stifle their living, so I don't consider them hypocrite bro. They want to live life, and its their right to live life just like everyother being!

Your brain dey work. Increase your weed intake because you get potential to become the next Albert Einstein

I like how you think differently, only that it's dangerous to put the future of the afghan people in the hands of these talibans. The citizens trooping out in droves knows better, hence why they took to their heels, days after taliban took power. They know what's up for them, what's up for their future.

Yeah I agree with him coming from this angle, but it does not justify their fight on a broader point of view. It still did not remove the hypocrisy on the talibans side too, condemning Western influence, but still use western influence as one of their tools to perpetrating evil. You see in the ends, two wrongs can never make a right. You are either hypocrite or not!

Would the manufacturers of arms from the Western world fold their hands and see this happen? This is going to be a long thing with so many chain reactions and because of new dynamism in the world, it may be difficult to predict what the outcome of all these would be.

Are you telling me the country president cannot be strict on border control ? Except if they are complicit in these chain of actions, aside that I don't see any reason how this could be a problem. Tbh, if they can be strict on border control. They will win this war easily with out expending much energy than to go one for one with them, you and I know that. This has been the same with ragtag army all over the world, the moment you give them attention, they will become embolden in their act, rather kill their source of adrenalin, and watch them choke to death. If you notice the caveat in my earlier post you responded to, you will notice I indicated that it won't be an easy task, their will definitely be those in government that are complicit too, but you don't care who they are, only if you are fearful or have a soft spot for their actions and moves.
Foreign Affairs / Re: President Ashraf Steps Down, Flees Country, Afghanistan Now Belongs to Taliban by hayoholla(m): 7:04pm On Aug 15, 2021
My concern is this kind of news and brazen steps by the talibans will give confidence to insurgents ravaging in their hotshots in African countries and other countries in the Middle East asia.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Timeline: Taliban’s Rapid Advance Across Afghanistan by hayoholla(m): 6:57pm On Aug 15, 2021
The simplest way to end this conflict and insurgencies of the talisman is to stifle their avenue of arms being supplied to them, that's their power. Block their supply of foods and all other essentials thats giving them moral to invade, then you will simply kill them fast and easy instead of confronting them Headon, thats even a boost for them. Its not easy, but its the cheapest, cost efficient and tactical method of winning this war in a very short time.

This lady is prolly bitter, she should move on from her bitterness. If she thinks there's something wrong with the family institution and she's not in for those stress, then its her choice, she shouldn't also think her choice of having to ditch being straight and pitch tent with her sexual orientation will solve any problem. As long as there's a relationship either with the opposite sex or same sex, there's bound to be a friction and clash of interest, she should know there's no escaping this reality. Its your choice to be in a homosexual relationship, but also expect any challenges that arises as a result of this types of relationships. Its a new terrain of human sexual explorations, and we are eagerly waiting to see what the new types of challenges will be, as we've already know what challenges a heterogeneous relationship is.

The other Igbo man that drop Buddle's of dollars telling his kid to step on the money that money is nothing. We know what the government and witch hunters said about the stuff. My apologies to say that, your critique is a bad one, riddled with hypocrisy. It shows you just want to jump on this trend, without critically analysing the importance of the meeting. I want to ask you, if the need to preserve one ethnic identity is a bad one, when it is obvious that, there exist multiple ethnic nationalities down south. Its not as if it's a yoruba or ibo or Niger delta gathering. It's a geographic one to protect our land and borders against the impunity of the herdsman, bandit Invaders that has been left unchecked for so long, that it's now spilling down south. How is this crime to defend your territory?

Now you went further in your hypocrisy and Cherry picked out of the obvious points raised during the meeting, the clamour for a southern president, you even mentioned names of northern personalities who supported a southern president for 2023. Is that to pacify us, and shut up our mouths while the beast you refuse to tame are running rampage in our backyard. Carry your president and go. How can there be a sound whole, with faulty parts? Think about that!

Thing is humans overhype the effects our actions have on this planet.
For how long have we been around? And more importantly how long have we had this technology that makes us assume we have everything figured out.
The earth had gone through an infinite number of climactic cycles before the first weather balloon or satellite was launched.
This could be perfectly normal for all mama nature cares.
Imagine trying to study an ageless, measureless planet with a few decades of advanced knowledge.

No, don't be redundant in your thinking. Even though we might pride ourselves as something of an important specie that can effect a change on this planet, that does not take away the fact that every of our actions do indeed contribute to that effect. That's gross irresponsibility on our part to think it's cool, and it's just mother nature doing it's thing. Until you end up fried you'll know. You want to know the difference between you and a dinosaur that got wiped out millions of years ago? It's our ability to think, improvise and change in whatever way we deem it fit. Man is lucky to be able to lead the charge and be at the forefront of all biological organism on this planet. And, it will be disastrous to throw it away, saying it's just nature way of doing things. Who the hell doesn't know that, but be wise and don't get trapped. At least if human specie will have to be wiped off, it shouldn't be of our own inactions and actions. So true, mother nature will do it thing, but it's wisdom for you to prepare, and possibly prevent. Thank you.

Rossiminku:

You don't know what you have until you lose it.

Visit Sierra Leone or Liberia. You will quickly rush back to Nigeria.

The people there are poor, and don't expect to become wealthy one day, like we all do in Nigeria, because of the sheer amount of opportunity and market size in this country.

Nigeria is a country where you can start by selling spare parts in the market, and from there become owner of the largest black-owned vehicle manufacturer on Earth. INNOSON. Pride of Nigeria.

Don't be deluded that everyone in Nigeria wants separation. Many SAY they do, but it's largely out of temporal frustration which a new administration or economic upturn could fix.

The business community of all ethnicities are not clamouring for separation.

They understand the importance of a large consumer market.

And they call the shots at the end of the day.

Oil dey your head. Almost everyone demanding for self rule are temporarily frustrated with the situation of things, not really because of agitation as a result of Identity. Watch a person with nuff spine and will take the lead, as see the silence in those agitations. Tbh, I love this country. I really do not want this country to break, irrespective of anything. What most people think is breaking away to form independent countries will ultimately solve their problems, it will still stay the same if we as countrymen refuse to change our ways that set us back and make us less human. We really need to be kind to each other first, we need to love and understand each other more, and we need a change of heart first. I find so much joy in an ibo man or an hausa man doing well far from his home in another land, so also I find so much joy in a yoruba man doing well in another man's land far from his own home. We really need each other. This politicians knows play mind games on us, they feast fat on our own selfishness and greed, and that's what is stagnating us the more. The evil we do our fellow countrymen is far worse than what those at the helms of affairs do to us, even though it's a consequence of their own inhumanity to their own countrymen. If need be, we should all go back to regional system that allows each region to move at it's own pace, according to the resources it has at it's disposal.

The Yoruba's can remain neutral, we have nothing at stake or any investment in the south east, their cousins in the south south should first join them. The interrelationships are largely over hyped and are even mostly SS minorities. In the event of war, the smart thing SW governors should do is to implement anti refugee laws. Secure Ondo borders and let it play out.....let wike and obaseki house their political cousins. Yorubaland is not a sanctuary region, we're still dealing with alot of shit.

Anti refugee law? Man that's insane.
