aryzgreat:Oh that's a good point that I didn't think about. Ive never experienced that terrible traffic (max one hour) but I've heard that one can spend hours trapped on that bridge on bad days. And the airport to Onitsha seems unencumbered by traffic problems so it might indeed be the better option than Asaba. |
Way4orward:Asaba Airport would be the biggest loser, although I think the Asaba airport is still closer for Onitsha bound passengers than the Anambra Airport. |
descarado:Lol. This one never enter plane before. |
The best part is that there is a ready, willing and capable market. Financially gallant men and women wey cash for pocket no be problem. Cheapest one-way ticket I could find is N60k. Worst of all December 20th till January 6th already fully booked. Wahala. |
Very good points. I almost succumbed to the temptation of lambasting you merely based on the headline.. But I just decided to read your post to find more grounds to 'finish' you. Thankfully, I did not give in to my impulse. This nonsense book is one of the most useless ever written and the author is a populist opportunist at best. Underdevelopment kee Africans there. |
The problem is that if you don't 'practice it', somebody else will. This is a mathematical certainty. Then at the end you will not only have received less value for your expenditure, but would most likely be mocked or derided by the same somebody's daughter and her cohorts for your 'consideration' when things go awry later. So better mash up everything while your access remains valid. Side note, NEVER take advice on these matters from women or simpish men. |
Crazy stuff. |
emmaodet:Very intelligent submission. I have nothing to add. |
greggng:Stop talking rubbish and misinforming gullible readers. See your mouth like N5..2b. You think every kobo from ticket sales goes into his pocket? The 02 wouldn't make money? Organisers wouldn't make money? SMH. |
God knows I hate this glib, arrogant, unbearable bastard with all my soul. But let's leave it at that. |
PVision2020:So was it the same "social media miscreants" like yourself that constituted the judicial panel of enquiry and produced the findings showing that government agents indeed murdered innocent protesters? Is it "social media miscreants" like you that set up the panel - or was it the same Sanwo-led LASG? Some of you "social media miscreants" are unbearably idiotic. |
Nightlife is not for mugus. Stay at home and watch Telemundo or whatever until sleep comes, and then sleep like the 'Responsible' citizen that you are. Leave all these night waka and heavy drinking for irresponsible veterans like us wey no get gauge but wey sabi as e dey go. I must club I must club, see how these big fools (especially the guy in blue) went to disgrace themselves and ended up with tragedy. |
Just look at the annoying examples this abokki terrorist gave. Do criminal herdmen write JAMB? Do these abokki criminal herdmen kidnappers and terrorists use the immigration for anything? I don't get it. If the so-called useless NIN is supposed to fight insecurity why is it targeted at enlightened, exposed law abiding Nigerians especially of Southern origin? We all know that Nigeria's biggest security challenge is terrorism/banditry - perpetrated entirely by bastard abokki herdmen from th. North who are uneducated and totally excluded from the NIN nuisance.. So what is the point of all this madness by this Boko Haram idiot of a minister? |
Oksman:O boy. The cctv footage is creepy as hell. Seems the lady was drunk, along with the guy in blue shirt with them. Men, death is never far away from life. Two seconds dem don interchange. |
The 'victim' acted too cool and composed for this to be real. |
Una still get time for all this mumulity under this Buhari economy? |
Mumu op. Mumu thread. The kind of thing that would ensnare only simps. I hate it when stupid 'lofty' ideals are so obviously incompatible with day to day reality. |
Shame catch me abeg. With all the fine fine smallies on campus that he can easily arrange sexcapades with? I shame on him and his family's behalf. |
The narration says it's a Bolt, but the op is naming Uber. They're different. Most of these stories that touch involve Bolt. Uber seems to be far better organised and with higher standards. |
If they planned this whole thing then I have to say that this is the marketing/PR masterstroke of the decade. |
Too much eye service hypocrisy/stupidity in Nigeria. You're probably owing pensioners etc, but you're quick to donate N20m to the family of a most likely corrupt, incompetent 'general'. Nonsense and ingredients from back to front. |
PotatoSalad:Fanboy, go and sleep. No be me go follow typical Nairaland unexposed, possibly financially handicapped nincompoop argue rubbish. Bye bye. |
Khaliyah:You never dey exposed so I no blame you. Even a regular working dude with decent income fit 'rent' Cullinan or any other luxury car for Yankee and Europe. Drive am as e like to show off. Not to mention payment plan wey e fit pay 2 percent down with structured payment plan, come carry motor dey stunt, then later abandon the thing. No dey allow anybody buga you with motor for yankee or abroad. Anybody wey buy motor, land am here, dey rock am here, na the real Odogwu.. Because na FULL UPFRONT CASH PAYMENT. If dem born am well make e fly the motor land Naija where be him main base. No dey talk like say you be jonzing guy. |
Meanwhile where the Black Badge RR Cullinan wey this boy claim say he buy? More than 5 months now, motor never land Lagos. Meanwhile unknown omo Ibo Henryiyke buy him own air freight am land Lagos within days. Believe these noise making clout chasers at your own risk. |
Seems he has run out of dance steps lately. This one go be amala ati ewedu gomina, reminiscent of Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala. |
Omode lo nshey eleyi. |
All these illicit and readily available drugs in circulation nowadays are are wreaking havoc on this generation. meth and colorado and SK and 'loud' generation of senseless animals. E don be for this fool. Another idiot bites the dust. |
Elbinawi:Thinking about it, no current state governor is merely a dollar millionaire. They are all at least multi millionaires. I believe that, on average, there are at least 100 beneficiaries of state government in each of Nigeria's 36 states that are dollar millionaires. The complex circle of kitchen cabinet members, trusted contractors, agents, proxies, , money launderers, top mistresses etc... There has to be at least 100 in each state feasting purely on the state government resources that are each worth at least a million dollars.... In some states such as Lagos we are talking of multiple hundreds. So, for the state government related millionaires alone, we're talking about 3,600 of them. I know for sure that this 9100 estimate is a ridiculous underestimation. Yahoo boys that are worth at least a million dollars in Nigeria are in their thousands. Drug Lords worth at least a million dollars are in their thousands. Other deals men and racketeers worth at least a million dollars are in their thousands.... Then before you come down to corrupt executives in numerous big private organisations and banks, then before you come down to uncountable federal civil servants in positions to steal or have stolen more than a million dollars.........we are talking about multiple hundreds of federal government agencies with yearly budgets of multiple millions of dollars, the CEO/MD/head of each of which is certainly a dollar millionaire. Before you trickle down to the federal civil service proper with its directors and top staff and their allies and money launderers. Then before you come down to the numerous 'legit' big time traders/merchants in the various big markets from Alaba to Idumota to Main Market Onitsha to Dei Dei Building Materials Market etc etc across Nigeria's big cities.. . Man, realistically, there can't be less than 300,000 dollar millionaires in Nigeria. |
adonainana:These 'businesses' you mentioned are mostly done by people who have a lump of cash acquired via illegal means (corrupt politicians, civil servants, contractors, and company workers, big fraudsters and drug dealers, and such such). Nobody in Nigeria organically started a hotel or real estate business from scratch. Nobody. So bearing that in mind, there are loads of businesses/niches a smart-lucky chap can capitalise on to hit the big time. But of course such a chap would never come out openly to reveal his trade secrets. Any idiot in Nigeria that is forming real estate or club owner or filling station or hotel billionaire is a bloody crook. Those are not real businesses that you can grow from scratch to billionaire status in Nigeria. The initial or ongoing expansion funds certainly came from proceeds of criminality/corruption. Unless the real estate or hotel business is merely an arm of a conglomerate such as YSG group, Ibeto Hotel, etc... And if you check, such men are not known for their real estate investments or hotels. They are known for what actually gave them money. Anybody in Nigeria that is known as a billionaire due to his real estate or hotel or club or such, is a crook. Take that to the bank. |
