Interesting. Elbinawi:Thinking about it, no current state governor is merely a dollar millionaire. They are all at least multi millionaires. I believe that, on average, there are at least 100 beneficiaries of state government in each of Nigeria's 36 states that are dollar millionaires. The complex circle of kitchen cabinet members, trusted contractors, agents, proxies, , money launderers, top mistresses etc... There has to be at least 100 in each state feasting purely on the state government resources that are each worth at least a million dollars.... In some states such as Lagos we are talking of multiple hundreds. So, for the state government related millionaires alone, we're talking about 3,600 of them. I know for sure that this 9100 estimate is a ridiculous underestimation. Yahoo boys that are worth at least a million dollars in Nigeria are in their thousands. Drug Lords worth at least a million dollars are in their thousands. Other deals men and racketeers worth at least a million dollars are in their thousands.... Then before you come down to corrupt executives in numerous big private organisations and banks, then before you come down to uncountable federal civil servants in positions to steal or have stolen more than a million dollars.........we are talking about multiple hundreds of federal government agencies with yearly budgets of multiple millions of dollars, the CEO/MD/head of each of which is certainly a dollar millionaire. Before you trickle down to the federal civil service proper with its directors and top staff and their allies and money launderers. Then before you come down to the numerous 'legit' big time traders/merchants in the various big markets from Alaba to Idumota to Main Market Onitsha to Dei Dei Building Materials Market etc etc across Nigeria's big cities.. . Man, realistically, there can't be less than 300,000 dollar millionaires in Nigeria. |
This smelly abokki said that there are 36 AGFs in the country. Does the idiot know the full meaning of AGF? How many federations are in Nigeria? Man, I'm disgusted to see how these incompetent and utterly useless Fulani people keep occupying important government positions, in a country filled with many brilliant and better qualified people. |
pocohantas:Exactly. That's why I like Pero's 'legal' approach. She's probably the biggest victim of Annie's indiscretion, but yet she was not included in the list of apology beneficiaries. If na me I go sue Annie for N10 billion. |
All these mumu men no dey finish. |
Interesting. The FBI probably spent more money investigating the case over a half century than the actual amount the guy stole. Here in Nigeria, more than 10, 20 years later, the police has not told us who killed Bola Ige, Marshall Harry, Funsho Williams, etc. That's why I don't take law enforcement in this part of the world seriously. Nonsense country. |
Useless thief with c.ock and bull story. This kind people dey vex me. Na to smash his head with baseball bat dey hungry me. Oloriburuku ole oshi. |
Legendary. I'm highly impressed. I've never had any pity for fools who perennially lose money to ponzi schemes... After all, the Holy Book says a fool and his money are soon parted. Rather I'm more inclined to congratulate this young babe for pulling off such a massive swindle. At an age where most of her peers are still dangling high mileage pussy to yahoo boys and corrupt older men for peanuts to survive. $10m... That should be enough to disappear into the sunset and be okay okay for many, many, many years. |
Which manner of 'intelligence' did the useless police use to track down a random driver of a random car who did a hit and run by 10pm on a free express road in Abuja? It's impossible. These people are mad. |
RUTHINYAEGBE:Being too nice in Nigeria is a handicap. That's the truth. In any case, being too nice anywhere in the world na Bleep up. That's why yahoo boys seem to everly be in business..... Because there are too many gullible, 'nice' people in the world.. Forgetting the money and getting wiser is the only way forward. Let the next 'genuine' person who needs help be the victim. Nonsense world we live in. |
I can only watch with bated breath and see how things unfold. Soludo is a typical Nigerian. Not a selfless revolutionary. He has been out of power for a long time. I don't think he had billions to throw around, because the money he made during his time in office he has been managing it since then. I honestly can't say for sure how he would behave as governor. Let's wait and see. |
Anything that is in limited supply is hard to get. Interesting topic though. I have a theory about the subject that I might share later if I find time for long typing. |
Loose canons who are serving policemen and soldiers? So if u understand correctly, what these people do is to forge documents and stage an arrest of high profile individuals in order to extort them... How many other rich folks have been victimised this way? Only in Nigeria. This country is such a mess. God forbid. |
There has to be a lot more to this story. From my personal experience Kuda is a great bank. My favorite now for sending payments and such. |
Obviously. But wealth is not the problem. Oil is not the problem. After all, there is oil rich Norway. There is oil rich Qatar. We Nigerians (and even Africans generally, e.g. Angola and Equatorial Guinea) as a people are the problem. Useless bunch. |
You can see the stubbornly optimistic, resilient, cold-blooded ambition in his young eyes. |
festacman:That's all that matters. It works, for most people. |
cjfavour:Aha. All these over-entitled, disgruntled employees/ex-employees. Employees of Glo and Conoil (Adenuga) and Dangote Group often say the same. Even employees of most Russian Oligarchs like the almighty Roman Abramovich would say the same. With your photocopied 'skills' and dime a dozen qualifications that are as easy to find as sand in the sea shore, you expect to be paid millions every month because the owner of the company lives a luxurious lifestyle. Mumu. Lol. So much for objectivity. People like you don't know what capitalism means, so you project your idiotic sentimentality to compensate for reality. Obijackson is objectively one of Anambra's wealthiest... And objectively has done philanthropic wonders for his Okija homeland, more than anyone else in Okija's history. But haters would hate, of course. |
Someone has been officially sentenced to prison, but the EFCC officials are still dragging what exactly? Nigeria. Irredeemable country. |
Nigeria's problems don't have any foreseeable solution. Let's even assume yahoo boys are our biggest problem. Who are the people supposed to deal with them? EFCC? Police? I laugh. The average animal in EFCC is richer than the average yahoo boy and all the top dogs in the EFCC are multi billionaires... ask me how if you're foolish. The average policeman who 'catches' a yahoo boy is only after bribes. The average mumu magistrate or judge who would hear any Internet fraud related case is only interested in receiving the biggest bribe possible. The lawyers on both sides (both the yahoo boy's lawyer and the EFCC's or Police prosecutor's lawyer) are only interested in how much money they can extort from the suspect to pervert justice. The system is useless. Yahoo boys are our least problem as a country. |
He's still a pauper compared to many bastards in and out of public office. Most of you don't know half of what's going on in this your useless country. Even the useless Abang that sentenced him is a certified crook who stinks of everything vile and corrupt. So really, the whole thing is a big joke. Better believe that the only reason he was exposed and made a scapegoat is because he stepped on powerful toes and bleeped up majorly in the inner caucuses of one or two current powers that be. Na so e be for Nigeria. He is a small boy thief relative to what has previously happened and what's still happening. |
Imustnottalk:Of course. But as a family man, the least you can do is ensure that all your wealth goes to your children, in case of incasity. A made man with four children shouldn't be so sloppy to allow this rubbish. The so-called brothers can steal the cash on ground if they are lucky enough to have first access to the property, but all the confirmed assets and bank accounts? Haba na. A man must put structures on ground to ensure the children wouldn't be bullshitted. |
Ijele Igbo |
Lol. Naijeriya. Agbero sef follow dey find certificate. |
Idiots. All of them. From the real and alleged owner(s) of the building, the governor, and the stupid panel members. People are still trapped in the building, rather than focus all state and non state resources on evacuating debris and rescuing potential survivors, you're inaugurating a panel of idiots to come and lie to the public. Nigeria is such a depressing place walahi. |
Very true in a broad sense. Nigeria's main problem is the lack of meritocracy. The idea and mentality that merit doesn't matter. That's our problem really. |
Always avoid the free lunch my people. It is often a trojan horse. But Naija females would never listen. Someone would just sponsor your trip abroad all expense paid for the obviously too good to be true condition that a percentage of the salary you would earn from a waiting job will be used to repay. Common now. |
Iamgrey5:Have you removed Ogun which is undoubtedly enjoying spill over benefits? Till today, many parts of 'Lagos' are actually officially part of Ogun. |
Just pray you don't find yourself in any kind of emergency situation at all in Nigeria, because you'll most likely be fvcked. Our emergency response system is zero. |
Baba na heavy weight finally. Good guy with wide connects like an octopus. Difficult to Bleep him up. |
Oh boy, it's plenty. This is the real meaning of clout. Even though I detest this Nnamdi of a guy and I know for sure that he is a scammer riding on populist Igbo sentiments, but the reality is that he has managed to build himself into an insanely powerful figure. |
Sunnybay7:You dey mind the narcissistic and egocentric idiot? Soludo is the one contesting the election, but your miserable drunken face is the one adorning the campaign uniforms. These people amaze me. They seem to believe the sun rises from their anus and sets inbetween their buttcheeks. Nonsense. |
SmartPolician:Battle he can't win how? Don't tell me you're swayed by that nonsense instagram gangster image? Na only am dey that frat? The fat fool ain't shit. And even the Kelvin in question is more respected and richer than him among their kind. It's not by making noise all over the place online. |
