These factors show why Tinubu would never be immortalised in the hearts and minds of common folk, whether in the South West or anywhere else. He would only be remembered by the handful of mediocres he empowered by allocating them to government positions via influence peddling and corruption.

He would never be a Statesman, in life and in death.
