Image123:Better in what sense exactly? With all that is going on? With all the comparative indices that are now plain to see? Blind obstinacy plus malicious ignorance is a very messed up combination. Some of you just prefer to wallow in your stubbornness for the mere irrational sake of it, without any iota of sensible justification. |
He has been cut to size. |
maynation:It would have been better to describe him as a dictator or tyrant.. Rather than Major General. "Nigerian dictator, Mohammadu Buhari, bla bla bla". But still, the Punch was courageous enough to make a bold move. Let's hope that the others follow suit. |
seunmsg:Youuuuuuu don't meannnnnnn itttttttt! |
kikake:Mr man say what you know and stop being ridiculous. That's how you people misinform the uninitiated with your beer parlour nonsense. NOBODY "drafted" Goodluck (who was already a serving governor at the time) other than Obasanjo himself, who saw him as the perfect mild mannered, unambitious, and 'controllable' mumu to deputise the anointed Yar Adua. Peter Odili was never an option for the presidency because it had to go North. And Odili was too flamboyant, corrupt, over ambitious, megalomanic, and sneaky to be made VP under the mild mannered and simple natured Yar Adua. Forget media permutations at the time. OBJ didn't need advice on such a sensitive matter from boy-boys like El Rufai and Ribadu (both of whom were 100% drafted into OBJ's government by ATIKU,, hope you are knowledgeable and honest enough to admit that?)! |
feezy:I saw what he did there. Without Obasanjo (and Atiku), there would be no El Rufai. Atiku brought him out from nowhere and influenced his appointment as BPE head in the first term of Obasanjo's administration, after which OBJ liked the man and later made him FCT Minister. That was how EL Rufai was 'created'. |
Original Ada Anambra. |
Okoroawusa:Your comparison does not follow. Peter Obi achieved everything he is today PRIVATELY. Even if you're an illiterate, but you go into private business, achieve success, and then use that success as a foundation for subsequent success in elective politics, it is NOT THE SAME THING as these abokki idiots who are unfairly APPOINTED into government positions they do not deserve! Aboki who always depend on government patronage to achieve anything in life. That is not the same thing as proving yourself and becoming a household name in private endeavours. |
Shibaraba:If dem naked you for public with enough beatings and humiliation, your prick must shrink. Na normal thing. That said, these fools should be burnt ASAP. Fuel never scarce yet. |
Congratulations. It is said that a man's talent maketh a way for him. |
KaptainAfrika:Lol. We are getting there. We just don't know how bad our situation is. |
Otunbasam2019:If it took you THIS long to start regretting, then your case is very serious. You never see anything. |
elsom:You don't have to quote me to express your foolishness. The context of my post is way beyond your mental capability, so just Bleep off. |
CharlotteFlair:The reality is that Igbos can't go it alone as things are currently structured. I'm a socioeconomic and political pragmatist. Besides, even if it were possible for Igbos to go it alone, I would still prefer the rest of my Southern (and Middle Beltan) brothers and sisters to be part of it. The truth is that, in spite of the pseudo 'beef', partly fuelled by mutual suspicion and jealousy and partly fuelled by the North, a Republic of Southern Nigeria consisting of Igbos, Yorubas and the different ethnic groups from the South South and Middle Belt would be an African Super Power of unprecedented dimensions. There would be no political ojoro or marginalisation in such a country, because everyone is educated, exposed, and sensible. Nobody go cheat anybody. Unlike the current abokki dominated Pederal repubulik op 'Naijeriya' where unproductive and parasitic quota system dumbos are in charge,, everyone in a Republic of Southern Nigeria would bring something valuable to the table. The Constitution and political arrangement would not only encourage fairness and equal distribution of political opportunities, it would also entrone meritocracy in the political and socioeconomic space. I'm confident. It seems far-fetched, but trust me, it is workable. |
oyebanji44:Get out of my thread. Empty headed nincompoop. |
oyebanji44:So what is your point (contrary to the opinion expressed in the original post)? |
JonDon12:Don't mind him. |
Even with their poor education and paltry credentials, they are heading everything 'headable'. Yet you expect me to have straight A1 in WAEC, first degree from Stanford, Masters from Harvard, PhD from Oxford, and experience from World Bank, just to apply for one ordinary entry level/middle level job! Because I'm an 'IPOBian' Okoro? I don't understand. Among the South, only the Yorubas are fiercely supporting this nonsense. What is going on? How long will it take to forge the much needed SOUTHERN UNITY AND COALITION to push these Gambari people into the arid desert they belong? |
Good news. But it's still injustice that his bail condition was so stiff. N100m for what? Wetin he do, according to the EFCC charges? ? ? But still, I'm happy he met the conditions. |
I hate poor people. Jeez. How does one cope with these idiots... Electrician, plumber, mechanic, house help, 'eye service' employees and less fortunate associates, etc..... any of these jealous, envious and greedy bastards who has access to you and your home! I'm not even anywhere as rich and accomplished as these Maersk victims but geeeeez, I know and I shiver! God have mercy. |
fkj950ax:Don't be stupid. He fit which position? Have you gone to Deloitte, PWC, and KPMG Nigeria to look for SUPER COMPETENT accounting and taxation gurus that you didn't find? Not to talk of Nigerians in this space that are abroad? It has to be the corrupt bastard called Fowler who is a mere average idiot in the space? Can you confidently say that before his appointment as FIRS Chairman, before which he was LIRS Chairman for years!, that Fowler was a household name in accounting and taxation? Where did he prove himself as among Nigeria's best in taxation or accounting matters before he entered government and started stealing money in Lagos? What qualified him for this lofty post other than that he was Tinubu's and Osibanjo's nominee? No make me vex this night. Stupid, biased idiots everywhere. Thunder strike your mouth and fingers there. There's nothing different between Fowler and the new abokki fool Buhari just appointed. They are both padi padi nepotism arrangements. From South West to Core North. Na them dey fool themselves. |
mrvitalis:Actually, even without zoning, the South can rule Nigeria.... It's just that the servile Yoruba elements of the South West often betray the rest of the South. Historically. If some sensible South Westerners can knack sense into the rest of the servile bunch, especially the infamous 'Yoruba Muslims, then Southern Nigeria is actually bigger and stronger than we think. Beyond getting the presidency, "we" the South can actually get our own country. And it would easily and quickly become the most prosperous country in Africa. Can someone please appeal to the infamous Yoruba Muslims to forget their fake pride and help make this a reality? |
Mehn. If not for Nairaland I'll have been a zillionaire by now. It's so fucking addictive and distracting. |
CSTR2:He replaced the Bayelsa man at DSS with this current Bitchy clown as DSS DG. |
mrvitalis:Oh boy I just had a revelation. In 2023, both the APC and the PDP would field North/SE or SS ticket. This revelation is pure. It's not my preference. It's not my wish. I don't fancy that. But it's a crystal clear revelation. |
zed7:Conduit pipe for his boss? Which of his three bosses? Tinubu, Osibanjo or 'women'? |
famouscargo4u:Lol. Don't even get me started on that. Imagine this new clown who the presidency is hyping as a "renowned tax consultant"... With offices in Kaduna, Abuja, and Niger State. I can't laugh. Quota system, patronage mumu tax consultant. I was canvassing for aggressive and offensive Southern Unity the other day as the only solution to this fuckery, but some Yoruba Muslims on Nairaland were frothing in the mouth and venting their anger at my 'Ipobian' suggestion. |
All the "juiciest" tier 1 posts, held by abokki... NNPC GMD Customs CG NPA MD FIRS Chairman And of course almighty INEC Chairman! |
Let him Bleep off. Will he die if he isn't reappointed? Nigeria is the only country in the world where someone would spend all his productive life in the public service and yet be spending money like an Arab sheikh. Look at a rodent like Rotimi Amaechi for instance. Zero private sector experience and accomplishment. Been in government from the beginning until now. Useless people. Go and start a business or work in the private sector or something. Prove yourself there and make your fortune there if you're that good. All these feasting on public funds for an entire lifetime is so annoying. |
Some people can ask stupid questions sha. So you can confidently take this kind of girl back home to meet your parents, aunties, uncles and family members in general? As per say she be Cynthia Morgan abi MC Weird? |
Greyman11:Driving in a private car from Lagos to the East is a nightmare. I can't even contemplate it. |
