If it wouldn't affect pump price of PMS, then no problem. I keep telling advocates of subsidy removal and those who keep repeating the nonsensical claim of "subsidy fraud benefiting only a small cabal" that they are missing the point. If you remove subsidy, will fuel prices go up? If the answer is yes, then how can you claim that the masses never benefited from subsidy? How on earth do you expect the masses to accept subsidy removal if it means that they have to pay more for fuel? These are the very simple questions.

If removing subsidy would somehow create the sort of efficiency that will make prices to be even lower than the current government regulated price, then OF COURSE the masses would support the removal of subsidy! Anything else is unacceptable.

Why does Nigeria invite people that committed serious crimes against the nation to their office? To discuss what exactly?! There is a reason suspects are always deemed innocent until proven guilty in the eyes of the law. Besides it is not their duty to prove their innocence. It is the duty of the prosecuting authority to prove their guilt.

Apart from the strategic benefits accruing to the South West because of its locational advantage (especially Lagos), the zone has far more human capital than the North.

The North is entirely parasitic and its wellbeing depends entirely on the continuity of this forced marriage called Nigeria. That's why the North is the most 'patriotic' bloc in the country. If Nigeria breaks up today, the core North (especially North East and North West) would be as wretched and miserable as the likes of Niger Republic and such.
