Sacred cow mentality is what has put us in this state of quagmire as a nation. Nobody is above the law no matter how highly placed, that is how a good country should work. If you have corrupt relatives, you had better tell them to prepare for a long day. Nigeria will be great against all odds.
Why not channel this 'beautiful speech' towards the direction of Tinubu, Amaechi, and their respective wives? That would certainly lend more credibility and weight to your 'no sacred cows' postulation.

Not for much longer. He would soon start begging to eat if he continues this new and utterly senseless approach. You don't insult delicate sensibilities, offend millions of people on one side of a political divide, and erode goodwill,... in the name of comedy. No one does that and survives. You simply can't afford to be so openly partisan in this kind of profession, and insultingly so for that matter.

Anyone close to this eediot needs to talk sense into him before he ruins his career. He shouldn't become too big for his britches.
PoliticsRe: EFCC Arrests Saraki's Wife, Yar'adua's Daughter Over Corruption Allegation! by hedonistic:
I really don't understand this style of our financial crime agencies. The two women were "invited" to explain the sources of the huge inflow of funds into their accounts. What the hell does that mean? Whatever explanation they provide is irrelevant. I thought it was the duty of the EFCC to investigate the sources of such "inflows" (by themselves) and establish whether money laundering or other financial crime was committed? Why this lazy approach?

This circus show of inviting XYZ dignitaries and "grilling" them about corruption allegations and then releasing them after plenty media noise makes no sense to me... It's just playing to the gallery. What the EFCC ought to be doing is to work HARD in the background - thoroughly examine the allegations in the petitions, ask for backing documents, scrutinise such documents for loopholes or incriminating stuff, probe the money trail and company papers... etc and ultimately establish the illegality or otherwise of the source of the funds. The suspects do not even have to know about all these until you are sure you have something concrete against them.

If they have anything to explain, it should be in court when they are prosecuted. If you arrest, it should be to prosecute immediately, not to ask foolish questions in the name of "grilling".

Someone needs to tell these incompetent oafs that the criminal investigation component of Law Enforcement is not a tea party or talk show. They need to WORK and deservedly earn their salaries.

He can throw jabs at D'Banj and other fellow celebs for all I care, but he should steer clear of his recent tendency to dabble into the political turf. All his PDP did this, APC is that... Or Jonathan did that and Buhari is that is beyond idiiiotic. He must understand that these are very sensitive subjects - with millions of passionate and uncompromising supporters on either side. He would easily erode his fan base and goodwill if he doesn't grow some sense real quick.

Shevmaen:
Talk of the underworld, you will meet him there. He has niggas and bi*tch*es who snitch for him. If he hears about you. He dials your number and invite you over. He has men who torture people in his compound. On the street, you might be unlucky if you carry the wrong olosho who happens to be an agent. In an hotel, you might be bursted. So many strategies. And on the contrary, he is a cheerful giver. From a reliable source his death was from them omo onile.
You make this guy seem like an ultra-powerful, omnipresent octopus with godlike powers. That's ridiculous. He simply took advantage of the cowardice, disorganisation, and lack of real street cold-bloodedness of the yahoo community. He created a larger and life image and preyed on their fear. These yahoo boys are mostly overgrown kids with overly hedonistic mindsets who do not know their left from their right.... Only buying big cars and wasting money on champagne and prostitutes. With the colossal amounts of money at their disposal, they could have easily deleted this fool a long time ago if they were truly 'street' in the realest sense. Forget all the claims of jazz and all that.

Why didn't he try that rubbish with the drug community domiciled in Festac/Lekki/Ajah and elsewhere? He would have been eliminated in no time. He couldn't even try it with the more mature - and more capable - segment of the broader fraud community.
CrimeRe: Twitter's Reaction To Alhaji Gay's Death by hedonistic: 6:53pm On Jul 21, 2015
Okay, I can glean two noteworthy facts from this man's profile and long reign of infamy:

1. Nigeria is a hopelessly corrupt jungle:

This pig was a dirty crook and impostor who basically led real policemen and perhaps real EFCC officers to extort money from hustlers. Imagine a fake law enforcement officer leading a team of real enforcement officers to perpetrate illegal missions! I assume the real law enforcement guys preferred this arrangement because they could hardly be implicated in case a potential victim decided to prove stubborn and expose the extortion racket to the appropriate authorities.

If a criminal can LEAD law enforcement officers on illegal missions, then you really need to fear for this country. It's a mad jungle.

2. The so-called 'street' Yahoo Community are not Street enough. They are chickens:

I find it difficult to understand how this fool managed to reign supreme for so long and instill fear in an extended community of supposedly street niggas who not only have a lot of money to work with, but should also have the necessary underworld 'ways and means' to quickly deal with nuisances of this nature. As it is, preliminary reports suggest that the fool's death is connected to some sour land grabbing and territorial misadventures in Alagbado. The overpopulated Yahoo Clan possibly have no hand in it... which is what I find quite baffling. So all their 'streetness ' ends in fighting in clubs and breaking bottles at poolside parties or smoking weed around? Imagine this sort of pig emerging from nowhere to make life difficult for the White Powder community? Very unlikely. I'm sure those ones would have been more decisive. That's real Street, if you ask me.
PoliticsRe: These Are Probably The Reasons Behind NSA Rtd, Sambo Dasuki's Sins. by hedonistic: 6:02pm On Jul 21, 2015
You people are confused and downright moronic. Why the discordant tunes and shifting of goal posts in this Dasuki Saga? I thought the DSS accused him of "treasonable felony" and cited that as excuse for obtaining a jankara search warrant and invading his houses? They even comically displayed a few guns and bulletproof cars as "evidence" that their search was justified and that Dasuki was about to wage war against Nigeria. Why then is the commentary on social media tied to corruption and financial mismanagement?

If the case against this man boils down to good old corruption or outright "stealing" as Goodluck Jonathan aptly described it,, why is the DSS playing the lead role here? Is this not something the EFCC or ICPC should handle?

Why the shenanigans?

It is very clear that PMB shout of fighting corruption is going to be selective, I only pity those that will take him serious, because all this we are seeing is just a movie script. when he is ready to fight corruption we all will know.
Buhari's so-called anti-corruption stance would soon be exposed for the sham that it is. I have always been against selectivity in any fight against corruption. It's either everyone goes down or you simply forgive old sins and 'reboot' the system. Anything other than that would be a witch-hunt.

Rebooting the system was what GEJ hoped to achieve, but which he didn't have the chance to implement before he prematurely left the scene. The truth is that 99% of politically exposed persons and those who have held 'lucrative' positions in BOTH the public and private sectors are corrupt. If you conduct a rigorous integrity check, most Nigerians would fail woefully. Even Buhari himself is corrupt otherwise let him publicly declare his assets and explain to us how he managed to acquire all that he owns.

People like you are too repulsive for words to describe. It is "thrash" because it involves Amaechi, a stalwart of the Buhari administration and a member of your APC. In your warped view, the APC is a pantheon of saints in which no one can do wrong.

If this story involved Sambo Dasuki or anyone remotely connected to GEJ's administration and the PDP, you would have been shouting yourself hoarse about corruption and bla bla bla. Bloody hypocrite.

The 1970s was truly the golden era of Nigeria's diplomacy, and arguably, that era also paraded the finest administrators and bureaucrats we have ever had. Highly educated (in the real sense, not the vainglorious parade of meaningless heaps of certificates and qualifications we see these days), highly sofisticated and genteel, highly charismatic, and highly eloquent and capable men across the foreign service and government bureaucracy.

Brings tears to my eyes when I compare that generation to the present-day nincompoops and bumbling misfits who forced themselves into the bureaucracy through 'connections', nepotism, and all forms of favouritism that have reduced Nigeria to the mediocre joke that it is today.

Nigerians and defending criminality. Are people cursed with criminal minds? Just asking because the audacity and shamelessness with which you all defend corruption and criminality is shocking even to the devil himself.
Beautiful speech, Mr. Squeaky Clean. But you have not negated my assertions. I am not interested in petty sentiments or mob mentality arising mostly out of frustration. I am more interested in the Rule of Law and the right way of doing things. Even in the USA, the law enforcement agencies do not move against you because you possess this or that. When they suspect that the source of your possession is illegal, they investigate you, and if they find incriminating evidence about your participation in illegal activities, only then do they move against you and prosecute you in court.

Nobody should ask me stupid questions about how I came about the money in my house; I owe nobody any explanation. If you think you have a case, investigate me, prosecute me, and prove in court that I got the money illegally. The burden of proof is always on the accuser. That is the proper way of doing these things, not by invading a person's house in a gestapo manner and constituting yourself into a nuisance.

If there was nothing, now they have enough evidence to investigate him further and subsequently prosecute him.

1. What was he doing with $40,000 cash at home? Is his home a bank? How did he come about the money?

2. Who owns the nine(9) cars found in his residence. Their prices should be compared with his salary and if he cannot afford them, they should ask how he came about them. He should be prosecuted after thorough investigation.

This is impunity and we expect the DSS to do the needful. EFCC too should come in here. The days of impunity are over!

Some poverty-stricken youth, that thinks he is a

member/supporter of PDP/GEJ, whose family have never touched or seen $40,000 or owned 9 cars collectively would come here to defend this man that keeps $40,000 cash and 9 cars at home. I weep for my country.
Since when did the possession of money in itself become a crime, more so a 'mere' $40,000 which is less than N10 million? Can that even buy a decent car these days? Thousands of Nigerians have more than that amount in their homes - No big deal here.

Meanwhile, I find it funny whenever you people say that someone should explain where he got this or that from. That is not what law enforcement entails; that's why in civilised societies a suspect is always reminded of his right to remain silent when arrested. It is the job of the DSS to INVESTIGATE and establish that the money or cars were acquired through ILLEGAL means, and then charge him to court accordingly. The accused is only answerable to a court when he is putting together his defence. He is under to obligation to explain any rubbish to lazy law enforcement officers who cannot do their job - which, in this case, is to investigate and prosecute!
PoliticsRe: Inside Story Of Why Dasuki Is In Trouble by hedonistic:
I don't see how the "recovery" of 3 guns and a mere $40,000 adds any value or spice to the DSS invasion of his house. As a retired senior military officer and NSA for that matter, you would expect him to have guns for personal protection, so what? Then $40k is roughly N10 million. That can't even buy a good car these days; the pure water Toyota Prado that litters Abuja streets costs at least N15 million. Even many mistresses and high class ashawos in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja have that in cash or jewellery in their rooms, so big deal?

Tell us something more meaningful. If he embezzled billions of dollars, where is the evidence? Where is the money trail?
