Anti-corruption war that is fought on the pages of newspapers based on a Gestapo orientation - maligning and condemning people by fiat whilst preempting the due processes of Law (Rule of Law). Buhari and the Northern animals surrounding him are all empty skulls and barbarians who should not be allowed to govern Nigeria of today. In case you are too dumb to understand what Jonathan's ministers are saying, the simple summary is that you should stop slandering and scandalising Jonathan's government by throwing worthless accusations and unsubstantiated allegations against them in the media. Or by threatening fire and brimstone and heaping all the blame for your incompetence on the outgone administration. If you are interested in fighting corruption, the right thing to do is to allow the law enforcement agencies gather proof/evidence of wrongdoing and then prosecute identified suspects in the relevant courts of law. Only the courts reserve the right to declare these persons 'corrupt' or otherwise. |
patwilly:Na don't get me wrong. It's not about class or whatever. Shomolu and its fellow no-no areas like Bariga and Mushin are too volatile to attract such huge rents. Am I mad to pay N300k for a mini flat in these areas? Even free thanks but no thanks. Google 'Shomolu' and I'm sure all you would find are unending reports of cult clashes , street gangs activities, robberies rape, etc. Very hopeless area. Better go to other areas like Mafoluku, Egbeda, and the likes were you'd get apartments in that rent category or less and enjoy relative peace of mind. |
Pay N300k for a mini flat in Shomolu? That crime infested shithole brimming with dirty cultists and street gangs? Shish. God forbid. Wouldn't even stay there for free. |
My only fear is that Tinubu and his band of murderous expansionists in the South West APC should not eliminate this man the way they did Funsho Williams. Our beloved Man of the Streets Fayose is exposing himself to too much security risks by overly identifying with the masses this way. May God protect him from the sinister machinations of the Frog-Eyed Monster of Bourdillon and his evil party members. |
For those who should know, is it lawful to allow your dog roam free in a public space? In my Estate one fool who lives close to my house is in the habit of unleashing his dog late at night to roam all around our avenue. Some of us are night crawlers and on a few occasions, I have encountered the dog and had only managed to pass by without incident. I have vowed that if ever, God forbid, this dog injures somebody one day, I will not only make sure that I butcher it to death, but I will also burn the owners house down. Nothing like sorry will be entertained. If you like your stupid dog, keep it within your own compound instead of constituting a nuisance with it and endangering the lives of other law abiding citizens! |
They are welcome. |
Omo Na babe o. Nice one. |
No, let us credit the 'body language' of one nomadic brute from Daura. Nonsense. |
The Nigerian Customs Service is not more corrupt than any other institution in the country. The Army, Police, NPA, Pilgrims Board, and other institutions are equally corrupt. The only thing is that corruption is always relative to the amount available to steal. The Customs Service is exposed to a lot of opportunities for enrichment, that explains why it is such a lucrative job with a high corruption perception level. If you agree with the appointment of an outsider to head the Customs, then you should also see nothing wrong in the appointment of a retired police or immigration officer as the Chief of Army Staff. I think Ali's appointment is ridiculous and unjustifiable. Buhari is taking us back to the dark days of Military rule when such arbitrary and anomalous appointments were commonplace. |
I am too tired to elaborate on this for now. But I know exactly what I am talking about. I foresee a reconciliation and realignment of forces between Saraki and Tinubu, to counter the emergent threat posed by an insensitive and senseless Buhari. Comments are welcome for now; I will expatiate later. |
Sexual satisfaction. That is very key You'll see some stupid so called 'good girls' claiming not to know what Mouth Action is, or that they don't give Mouth Action because of xyz. OYO lo wa. I will rather marry an ashawo that will be my reliable Bitch, than marry a 'good girl' that will claim fake morality for me and yet be sooner or later somebody else's Bitch. |
MzzTega:Typical ignorant Nigerian bimbo whose exposure to 'entertainment' and information begins with African Magic and ends with Telemundo! Bono is a VERY big deal, not only in terms of his massive success and achievement as a musician, not only in terms of his excellent contributions to global philanthropy, but also in terms of his monumental wealth. This has nothing to do with his being a white man. Do some Google research and enlighten yourself a bit. |
Don't mind the morons. So one's miserliness is now an indicator of competence to perform effectively at a given task or position? What a joke. Besides, I am very concerned by this recourse to the old Abacha ways of appointing military officers from outside the service to serve as sole administrator of the Nigerian Customs Service. This would definitely prove to be a spectacular failure in today's Nigeria. Soon the Daura buffoon would appoint Sergeant Rogers as the Inspector General of Police. |
Unless you are a poor student of Nigeria's political history, you should have a full understanding of the deeply entrenched phenomenon of 'One North' that has continued to give dominance to the North. |
Died to pave way for a Northerner to take over. . Rest in peace sir. |
OtunbaJega:This is a very idiotic point of view. In a multi ethnic political environment like Nigeria in which distrust and delicate relations exists between the numerous ethnicities that make up the country, it is incredibly daft for people like you to not "give a damn" when other sections of the country are marginalised in terms of representation in government. The framers of the constitution, in their wisdom, understood the ethnic diversity of Nigeria, hence the need for federal character. You cannot say that merit can only be found in one part of the country. |
So na good old Star dem serve mega STAR like Bono? It is well. Down to earth oyinbos. Our local wannabes will be forming champagne and ciroc.. Even Waje follow drink stout. Very good indeed. |
His 'competence' is not in doubt, but it depends on the parameters by which you choose to define competence in this context. He is very well-versed in the officialese and workings of the National Assembly, having chaired the business and rules committee in both the HOR and Senate. This makes him very knowledgeable However, much of his job depends on his ability to liaise effectively with members of the National Assembly and facilitate cordial relations between them and the presidency. Unfortunately, I don't see him doing too well in that regard. He is widely despised in the National Assembly (even by members from his own state) because of his annoying over sabi and 'ITK' attitude. He is regarded as a pedantic and loquacious bore who always thinks he knows it all; even National assembly civil servants and lobbyists hate his guts. He is not exactly the likeable kind of guy that can persuade members of the NA to pass an executive bill or help Buhari in any way. He lacks such charm and soft skills. |
What if the "donor" requests that you date or marry him as a precondition for helping you in the first place. Would you reject that condition and die in your misery instead? That effectively answers your question. Yes, it is ingratitude to reject a person after benefitting from him... There is no such thing as altruism or helping for helping sake. People always expect something in return, even though they don't admit it. Even God Himself expects us to praise and glorify Him when He blesses us. Let alone ordinary, vain, selfish humans. Nothing goes for nothing. |
ayoolanr:Google is not very useful in this case, because it directs you to sites that try to dissuade you from suicide. It doesn't provide satisfactory answers to the question. |
ayoolanr:What is the most painless way to commit suicide? I am only curious oh, I don't have such intentions. |
Dharniel:Not really. Ever heard of first mover advantage? |
The most popular runs girl on social media. I wonder where she is based. |
Truckpusher:Story. As a man, would you rather be rich and poor in bed, or be good in bed and poor as a church rat? Choose one. As a woman, would you rather choose a man who is successful but miserable in bed, or choose a man who Bleep your brains out but is a pathetic loser who can't pay the bills? Choose one. What matters most in the real world, at the end of the day? I guess that's the point Toto Dike is making. |
Incidents like this provide the sociological and utilitarian justification for jungle justice. It's a big shame how messed up everything is in this part of the world. |
The landlord is clearly a psychopath. My goodness! That's why it is impossible for me to rent a house in which the landlord resides. Impossible. No matter how cheap or lovely a house is, the fact that the owner resides in it totally rules it out of my consideration when I am looking to rent an apartment. |
Ayatullah:The context of what I talked about is clear. If you choose to ignore that and deny the disgraceful way things are in your backward country and continent, then that is only typical. Empty chest beating and outsized ego in spite of colossal nothingness. |
classicB:I can't believe I am finally reading this from a female here! You don't know how disgusting and extremely irritating it is to me whenever girls conveniently shift blame to men for their own failure to take responsibility for their own actions. You would see foolish idiots blaming men for prostitution, saying that if men did not patronise them, they would not be whores! Shoro niyen? Even women caught cheating blatantly would blame their boyfriends or husbands for their own promiscuity. It is ridiculous. There is something called human/moral agency. At the end of the day, women have the power to accept or reject. I should be able to leave my wife with Giacomo Casanova himself. No matter how tempting his game is, as long as he doesn't physically subdue her and rape her, she has the prerogative to say YES or NO and flee all appearances of evil. That's why I despise those useless men who fight or attack men who they catch with their girlfriends or wives. It is not the playboy's fault. Kill your woman if you like but leave the man out of it. As long as it isn't rape. She is not a kid who doesn't know her left from her right. She consented to it, that's why it happened. Direct all your violence towards her if that's your impulse, but don't be a primitive fool by treating the playboy as an intruder. |
dridowu:The highlighted part is the difference between oyinbo people and backward law enforcement idiots in Africa and Nigeria in particular. |
Jonathan went out of his way to select a neutral Jega, whose choice was not questioned by anybody at the time. Why can't Buhari follow suit? Assuming this bimbo called Amina was the second in line after Jega, it might have been a bit understandable (albeit inappropriate) for her to take over in acting capacity. But since Buhari intentionally sidestepped the next in line and appointed this Amina woman, it is clear that something isn't right. For a man who claims to be of high integrity, it is very shameful that he is soiling such a critical national institution with so much nepotism and lack of fairness ab initio. |
Impressive. Thanks to you guys I am taking serious interest in Gionee phones. You should check out the upcoming Gionee E8. I'll wait for that monster. |
