Moving from where to Abuja? If it's from within Nigeria, then what crime exactly has he committed that warranted parading him? Has the origin of the money been established? The onus is on the relevant authorities to INVESTIGATE and establish that the money originated from criminal activity or other illegal sources before prosecuting him or parading him in the media. If their investigation does not yield anything that clearly links the man and the money to crime, then there is nothing to make noise about because he will be deemed innocent. The mere possession of money in itself and by itself is not a crime na. I don't understand. |
Can somebody explain to me why Buhari has not sacked the service chiefs, almost two months after being sworn in? I thought these are the same service chiefs that were derided as being incompetent in the way they managed the war against Boko Haram? Buhari is truly a slow Dullard, anyway you look at it. |
Nwocha12:So a guy would meet you, apparently get close enough to you and then propose an all-expense paid romantic trip to Dubai...AND you happily accept, YET you do not know that you guys would end up having sex? What's in it for the guy, is he a Father Christmas? In fact read the post below from a fellow girl and acquire some sense: Evathyst: |
Ishilove:What is immature about this? You Naija girls like to drop words carelessly. Why should a girl accept such an offer in the first place knowing full well what the guy's intentions are, and knowing that she is not ready to play ball? What the hell is she feeling like? What I really hate is some Naija girls' foolish attitude of wanting to eat their cakes and have it, as if they are smart. It doesn't work that way. You should never accept when you are not ready to give in return. |
This is the sort of rape cases that should attract capital punishment or any other brutal punishment, since the guilt of the perpetrators is not in doubt, and the sheer violence and savagery of the act leaves no room for rationalisation. Hang them by the balls, castrate them, shoot them, whatever. No problem. Then again, this sort of case is often not only a matter of 'mere' rape. The categorisation often includes street thugs, armed robbers, kidnappers, cultists, and other violent criminals who routinely rape their victims as a carnally gratificatory 'perk' of their overall banditry. However, for "suspected" rape cases which ultimately boil down to the purported victim's unverifiable accusation (such as date 'rapes', a girl voluntarily visiting a guy in his hotel room or house knowing full well that something might happen, and such) the law should always give the accused the benefit of the doubt... The reason for this my epistle is that you cannot lump all suspected rape cases into the same category in terms of making or implementing punitive laws. |
keandre:Smh. You people watch too many movies, hence the stereotype. You think actual robbers always look like the all-star cast of Ocean's Eleven? |
rheether:You people are jokers. You expect these robbers to have "swag" or to look the part even when they are under pressure having been captured, mercilessly tortured (of course), restless, disoriented, and exposed to public ignominy? Do you think they have even had a bath (let alone basic manly grooming) since they were captured? Can you display your classy chick "swag" when you are caught stealing a bra in Oshodi Market and consequentlystripped naked, and paraded throughout the market? I think these guys are the actual robbers, more so because the robbery was a sensational broad daylight robbery with many witnesses and perhaps with CCTV evidence. The police can't parade the wrong people in this case. |
Such an incoherent rant. |
There can't be anything like "party supremacy" in the APC because the APC is not a proper party. It is actually an agglomeration of disparate factions with disparate interests. Unless you mean that members of this hurriedly assembled contraption should accept 'faction supremacy'... Which will be ridiculous. Why should Saraki, who belongs to the nPDP faction, for instance, accept the "supremacy" of Tinubu's Yoruba ACN faction? |
Gbam. He should present the original asset declaration form he submitted to the CCB if he is sure of himself. That's the only way to refute this report. |
Ije uwa. Classmates. One went on to become a judge, the other went down to become a petty thief. |
I have since wondered how the APC and a universally despised charlatan like Rochas could have won the election in Imo State. I guess the tribunal would do the needful. Even if Rochas begs all the oracles and deities in Igboland, his fate is already sealed. |
Una get time. So a guy should follow all these yeye rules because the girl he is going on a date with is the Queen of England. Abi Buhari's daughter that can facilitate billion Naira contracts? You people overrate yourselves for no reason. |
I am a follower of Christ and I believe strongly that the Bible is my final authority. The Bible teaches that a marriage is to be between a man and a woman.Powerful! |
Even though the news has no sauce, it is still tasty. |
Beautiful. Just beautiful. Meanwhile.... Possibly when we start thinking out of box of how to at least put food on our table, may be we would stop distributing cv's to all our enemies. The part on bold made my eyes water slightly, I would have shed a few tear drops if I still had functional tear glands, lol. I am not particularly wealthy yet, but I am on that road as sure as night and day. I can't tell you how liberating self-employment is especially when you know what you're doing, and with God's graceful approval. The fact of the matter is more often than not, job seekers distribute their CVs to their "enemies", that is people who would only sneer at them and mock them behind their backs and throw the piece of paper in a thrash can. |
Frankly, I don't see how this is our problem at this point. If anything, I am intrigued by the persuasiveness and ingenuity of these guys. I mean if you are foolish enough to fall in love with a phantom character you have never met and wire money to such a person - and even contemplate marriage to a completely unknown and faceless netizen, then you deserve whatever you get! Leave these fellas alone and face what's really important. |
Was Sylva expecting to win an election in Bayelsa on the platform of the APC? Mumu. He should have continued with his suit so that 'hardworking' lawyers can chop out of his loot. |
Hehehehehe. Mr. Peeping Tom don enter gbege. The sort of things that happen in face-me-I-face-you. But wait oh, what exactly is his crime, such that he had to be charged to court and remanded in prison? I am not sure voyeurism is listed as a crime in Nigeria's Criminal Code. Besides how do you prove this sort of allegation? The mumu could easily deny and then it would be a matter of her word against his. |
Wow. Very heartwarming and delightful news my brother. I thank God for your life. |
I don't trust Prince Alwaleed's motives or sincerity. He is notoriously hedonistic, vain glorious, and egotistical; sort of the Donald Trump of the Middle East, albeit richer. Not the kind of guy that'll be disposed to giving away all of his wealth in his lifetime. |
Mr man what are you ranting about? Of course after you release, the next thing is for the dick to go down and rest for some minutes before getting ready for another round na. It is normal. How can the dick stay up continuously even after releasing, abi you be robot? |
Ensquare:I don't think so. If they apply the ranking rule, that would eliminate Akpabio's chances, since he is a first timer in the Senate. A ranking South South Senator like James Manager looks more likely to emerge. |
dotune:Nice speech. But we live in a capitalist society my friend, and if you understand what capitalism entails, you would know that nobody has the right to pontificate to another person how he should spend his own self-made money. The best YOU can do is strive hard to make a lot of money so that YOU can spend it all on solving the many problems afflicting mankind, even though your efforts will ultimately be futile. Altruism is a choice, not an obligation. |
I don't expect Buhari and the APC to repeat the same foolish mistake made by Jonathan in appointing a dubious/uncontrollable character of its a tribalistic agenda as INEC helmsman. If Jonathan had known better he would have never appointed that bastard called Jega or at least would have removed him long before the 2015 elections. Unfortunately, the APC would certainly ensure that a puppet like Zakari occupies this all important seat. I don't see how the APC would ever allow a free and fair election in the manner Jonathan naively did. |
The gullible and misguided Nigerians who believed in Buhari and voted for him did so mostly on the basis of his 1984 'reputation'. Unfortunately, they forgot one small fact... . Buhari was an ineffectual figurehead as Head of State in 1984. He relied entirely on a certain Tunde Idiagbon to get things done. If, as a young man in 1984, Buhari couldn't do anything without Tunde Idiagbon, what will he do on his own as a senile old man in 2015? |
What really caught my eye is the Dom Perignon Jeroboam. Now that's a boss's drink! I'm surprised that they'll have a bottle of that champagne in that club. But this guy looks really shitty. Has dirt and illegality written all over him (not that it matters to all these girls though). With all the mega money he is making from his Southie rackets, he should at least invest a small portion in his appearance and overall image. |
A simple, winnable case of manslaughter. |
InvertedHammer:If you tell them, they would scornfully accuse you of watching too many movies or playing too much video games, or worst of all, they would say that you are "claiming I too know". Very pathetic and ignorant monkeys who prefer to be starved to death by their ignorance than to eat the humble pie of knowledge. |
loomer:That's why Nigeria would remain stagnant. You dolts prefer to arrogantly revel in ignorance and mediocrity than to admit your lack of knowledge and accept correction. Ignorance mixed with heavy concentrations of arrogance that's most Nigerians for you. It is ridiculous. Someone who knows what he is talking about is making well-informed and valid observations and all you monkeys can do is let your foolish egos shine through. |
A lot depends on the force of personality of the individual occupying the office, and same applies to most other political offices. David Mark was arguably more influential than Sambo in the last dispensation... Just as Atiku, as Vice President, made the office look somewhat as powerful and glamorous as that of the president itself. Even now, he still makes the status of 'former vice president' look larger than life. An ambitious political gladiator like Bukola would certainly wield enormous influence as Senate President. |
